It Looks Like PlayStation Exclusive 'Stray' Is Coming To Xbox Soon

This is one of my very favorite PS5 games. It's so damn good, really surprised to hear this news.

Being a cat, hanging out with the strays and getting high on catnip would be an ideal life, so this is the next best thing.

Looking forward to this one, it's on PSN Plus at the moment, so I wonder if it'll be on Game Pass?

I platinum'd it last month and it's my favorite PS+ Extra game so far. Nice to see it claw its way out of exclusivity. Here's to Kena this year as well!

I’ve played it and it was one of the most disappointing games I’ve played in recent memory. It looks great but I thought the gameplay was dull and boring. The cat is undeniably cute though.

Something tells me I'm not alone here - but can timed exclusives kindly **** off...either make a game exclusive or MP - don't needlessly make people have to miss out 🙂

I enjoyed this game, you can probably complete it in about 4-5 hours.

Give it a shot people, it's not gonna rewrite gaming history for you but it's a fun time

I didn't even know it was exclusive. I assumed it was multiplatform from the start haha.

Day one for me, love anything related to animals.

My ps5 and 1 years plus extra arrives Thursday, so I'll be playing before that. But its typical for me. Been a game of wanted a long time on Xbox - the moment I get a ps5 - it's coming to xbox!

@ironcrow86 A lot of the time the money paid for exclusivity directly helps to fund the game being developed, especially with a lot of smaller indie games.

Overrated game IMO. Cute at first but got boring quick for me. Glad others liked it.

I highly recommend this game - platforming with a cat in a dystopian city and a decent little story to boot. Charming (and occasionally creepy).

I finished this, but I'd be hard pressed to tell you I liked it much.

Played this on Plus. I would say it is worth a play-through but I do think it is overrated. Not bad, and they nailed a really cool atmosphere, but just nothing special in my opinion.

I enjoyed my time with it and it does a lot great, but it loses its way after a while. Also, those eyes...... Definitely recommend it but the first half is definitely better than the second half that kind of devolves into an action game.

As much as I love Cats I can't support this game because they accepted money from Sony to make it exclusive. This developer and their games are now lumped in with SquareEnix among others as companies I won't touch for their uncompetitive practices.

If so then why?
If you hate Sony for doing it then you must hate Microsoft doing it also.

Microsoft has also done it with more titles than Sony.
Mostly smaller titles but still more.

@Neverwild Sony tried their hardest to get me to hate them, but it wasn't that hard for them with their practices. My hate for Sony goes beyond the Playstation. Microsoft isn't doing so well at the moment. Gaming as a whole has taking a giant dump on gamers. Between PC part prices to the lack of real next gen titles is hurting the industry all around.

@Nintendo4Sonic Why is it a surprise? The overwhelming majority of AP games are on Xbox. Most having been timed exclusives.

IMO was a safe bet it would come to Xbox, especially since it is on PC.

I tried it on PlayStation since everyone was really praising it and got a GOTY nomination (alongside Xenoblade chronicles 3 my favorite game of last year), but I found it boring and uninteresting. I tried to force myself to play it to see if the best was yet to come but I gave up on it halfway through… (Full disclosure: I’m a dog person)

@Fenbops I bounced off of it pretty hard too. If it's on Game Pass i might try again but yea I was bored.

@iplaygamesnstuff Sony ain't the only ones that do this. Microsoft definitely had their fair share of timed exclusives and such. Did you support the Cuphead devs for accepting money for timed exclusivity? Not to mention other devs and platforms.

Played this game a couple days ago. Took me one evening to complete. Gonna play it again soon for the speedrun trophy.

@Rafie Sony does it with malice. They do a lot more than this. They are cancer in the gaming community. Everything they do is to destroy what isn't theirs.

I enjoyed it, it's not going to knock your socks off, but like anything that's free, it's a nice game to play. If however, this was a full priced game.. I would have been a different story. But you have to give kudos to the dev for being a little incentive with it.

It stutters on PC so might buy this one again on Xbox for more consistent performance. It’s a great little game.

Don't get too excited. This was one of the most over hyped games in a long while. Not bad by any means but its inclusion on goty lists last year was ridiculous. It's an average adventure game. If the main protagonist wasn't a cat it would have made next to no impact. And I say that as a cat person. A person that likes cats, for clarification, not like a khajiit or something.
