In case you missed it, Atlus has announced it will be releasing a "definitive version" of the 2021 RPG, Shin Megami Tensei V. It's officially titled Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance and will be released on all platforms including Xbox on June 21st, 2024.
You'll have to venture back to a post-apocalyptic Tokyo, which is now filled with a brand-new storyline as well as new locations and demons, as you navigate "conflicting and tragic moral decisions" while confronting a dramatic tale of revenge.
The original Shin Megami Tensei V game was originally released on the Nintendo Switch in 2021. Our sibling site Nintendo Life called it the best entry yet in the long-running RPG series, awarding it nine out of ten stars:
"Shin Megami Tensei V is a modern masterpiece...If you are at all a fan of RPGs or have been looking for a good entry point into this oft overlooked series, we would strongly encourage you to pick this up as soon as you can. Shin Megami Tensei V was worth the wait, Atlus has successfully stuck the landing with this one."

Well, now I'm happy that I didn't buy this on Switch. Performance there seemed little rough.
I'm also glad I skipped this release on Switch, as it has issues even keeping 30fps there. I'll be getting this one on Xbox.
Looking forward to this!
Is this Xbox's first SMT game?
@Rafie No, SMT Nine is exclusive to xbox.
Very surprised we got this before a port of the SMT 3 Nocturne Remaster.
Dragon Quest and Shin Megami Tensei are my favorite RPG series of all time, and I’m very pleased to see them both on Xbox in these recent years. Keep going!
@fbnaulin Yes and we also got "Persona", "Kingdom Hearts", "Tales of" and others. Great times for being an Xbox player. I skipped this on Switch, so the definitive version on Series X will be a treat.
