It's been announced today by Forever Entertainment that The House of the Dead 2: Remake will be coming to Xbox One, Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S (along with PlayStation and Nintendo Switch) at some point in Spring 2025!

This new version promises "modern graphics" along with remastered music, and it's playable either solo or in local co-op. For now, there's no confirmed release date or pricing for this sequel, but we'll let you know when that changes.

As you're probably aware, the first House of the Dead Remake arrived a few years ago on Xbox to lukewarm reviews, with the main negatives being the lack of proper lightgun support. Still, if you're got a bunch of nostalgia for The House of the Dead 2 and you're keen on checking it out again, this should be a decent time with a controller alone.

We'll throw some screenshots for The House of the Dead 2: Remake down below:

"THE HOUSE OF THE DEAD 2: Remake is a remake of the second entry in the well-known and popular rail-shooter series. Take on the lone role of a secret agent as James or Gary, or team up in co-op mode to neutralize the dangerous undead monsters standing in your way."
