If its a disaster as you suggest, than Microsoft would do something about it but they clearly don't see it as such. Microsoft can afford to go the way of Sega and just become a big third party publisher, whilst dabbling in game streaming until it becomes a viable proposition. They can come up with something akin to Stadia but with the might of Gamepass at its core and offer alternatives to Sony and Nintendo.

It's really difficult to believe but it looks like Microsoft, might actually achieve the impossible task of having the Series X|S sell even less than XboxOne/XboxOne X. Like Spencer observed: -They really messed up the generation that actually mattered.
I don't ever see them having comeback like they had with the X360, but I'm good as long as they work hard and keep GamePass firing on all cylinders, I'll stick around since Xbox represents much more than just a console.🙂

Anything from the people at Asobo is a win for me, they are a great outfit. So, I'm definitely in on what comes next!

Are you purposely obtuse or have some sort of crusade against the Series S? Microsoft is not forcing any sort of feature parity on graphical settings between the Series S and X that I'm aware of. And in the case of BG3 Microsoft has shown that it can be flexible on feature parity, i.e. split screen co-op if necessary.

There is no mandate that ALL PC games must scale down to be be able to be played on glorified toasters, they are free to develop how they want

Yes, not a strange take at all... Perhaps they should just stop developing games for any platform that requires software optimization and ignore the myriad of PC configurations, Steam Deck, Switch etc, because a problem has been forced upon them...Its definitely a point of view, I must say.

I reckon the Max Payne remasters will be heavy hitters and do well for Remedy. That IP was pretty cool for its time

I love Remedy and those games are cult classics, mate👌... don't want anyone to hate me but my favourite Max Payne is 3 😁. The one developed by Rockstar.

I would opine it could be both, Xbox titles being overlooked or omitted over the years and you guys being salty about it 😁.

For Microsoft absolutely. This COD will likely make more profit than all the Game Awards nominees combined. And that's before you even consider the other cash cow in the room King mobile.

Perhaps Xbox Game Studios should try harder next time, just a thought 😉. Anyway the nominated games are seriously cracking titles....at least the latest Devil May Fantasy (FF16) didn't make the cut either, 😀 so there's that 🤣.

With the exception of RE4:R(Spidey 2 missing out the nomination) all other winners were nothing if not predictable.....looking forward to play more Cocoon, HI-FI Rush and Pentiment.

All governments should go after corporations that are proactively look for tax loopholes or commit tax evasion, Microsoft are planning to spend $69 billion on ABK whilst being in arrears to the tune of almost $29 billion, its ridiculous.

I watched a podcast with Yanis Varoufakis where he says that Amazon made 42 billion in profit in Europe alone and payed zero taxes. Meanwhile the great poor masses are being constantly squeezed, its f@king reprehensible...

...actually what I'm interested in is if Microsoft plan to release a £25 vertical stand for the upcoming slim Xbox X|S consoles😅.
