To anyone yet to pick this up I recommend getting the GoTY edition as both expansions were just as good as the main game, and quite lengthy too. Definitely worth the extra few quid/bucks

4K and 60fps? Nice. Think I’ll still wait for reviews though. I’m predicting somewhere in mid 70s on Metacritic.

Can anyone tell me if I download Warzone 2 on Series X does it automatically download CoD MW2 as well? It does on PS5, but I was only interested in trying WZ2 so cancelled and deleted it 🙄

This game went from a day 1 purchase to “wait for sale” 🙄

If you like feed good comedies I highly recommend Ted Lasso and Trying.

I’m in the minority here, but I just don’t understand the love for FH5. Yes it looks amazing, but it’s just menus full of to-do lists 🙄

On Series X I’m playing Sonic Frontiers and Cyberpunk 2077 (which looks even better now after latest patch). But my go-to game right now is…God of War Ragnarök.

By the time it goes on sale or GamePass it might be a half decent game!

Being able to have multiple games in “quick resume” state. I also have a PS5, and you can only suspend 1 game at a time on that.

Have already preordered Sonic Frontiers on Xbox, and GoW Ragnarok (on PlayStation, obviously), but will probably also get Evil West. Expensive - but good - month!

As long as it’s optional and not forced upon us.

Can’t wait to play this next Wednesday! And at least it unlocks at midnight, unlike quite a few Xbox releases this year that didn’t unlock until late in the day 🙄

@Kezelpaso 85gb? Not as bad as I expected but still quite hefty. How come people are already playing it when it’s not released until this Friday?

I haven’t bought or played a CoD game in years, but this is now on my radar. Will still wait for reviews, but I may bite. Only thing I’m worried about is the install size - recent CoD games have had a notoriously large footprint. Would it be possible to manage the game so you only install the campaign, then once that’s done uninstall it and then install the MP maps? 🤔

How do you access this demo on Xbox? I can’t find it anywhere

Games that look great at 60fps…Horizon forbidden West, Cyberpunk 2077, Assassin’s creed Valhalla…all big open world games. There’s no excuse for the devs to not include a “performance” mode option.

I was on the fence about buying GK, but this has put me off. Also, they say that co-op is one of the reasons why there is no 60fps/performance mode…not all of us want to play in co-op! Maybe if they add in a performance mode at a later date I may bite.

Disappointing, but I’ll probably be too busy anyway with GoW Ragnarok, Evil West, and - hopefully - Witcher 3 upgrade.

The only thing I’m worried about with this game is everywhere you go looks the same, so inevitably you get lost…and often. Hopefully I’m wrong.

I’ve never played it. Is it worth diving in if you’re primarily a solo player?

Looks interesting, and it’s always good to see more of these types of games come to consoles (looking at you AoE4). Unfortunately I already have too many games to play atm, so it will have to wait.

@BBB I was on the fence about playing Overwatch 2 anyway (haven’t played first one in years), but knowing I’d now have to give them my phone number has made my mind up…Not happening!

You look at that selection of games and then compare to the PS+ extra/premium monthly selection and Xbox are smashing it! Btw I’m no fanboy as I have both, but have been mostly disappointed with Sony’s monthly selections so far.

I’ve got right back into Cyberpunk 2077 this week, and I haven’t even watched the Edgerunners anime! But it was the 1.6 “Edgerunners” update that made me dive back in to see how things have improved. I also used a glitch I saw on youtube which got me 2 million eddies! Bought some nice guns, upgraded my cyberware, and bought a few apartments. Mostly doing side jobs and gigs, but do plan on carrying on where I left off on the story, which was some time ago!

I’m off work this week and thought I’d dive back into Night City. Mostly been doing free roam stuff like gigs, whilst I re-familiarise myself with all the game’s (many) mechanics. Having a blast, and looks great on Series X (playing in performance mode). Still quite rusty on all the hacking stuff but I’ll get there!

I’ve been waiting ages for this on consoles, after hearing good things about the PC version. What’s the chances of it releasing day 1 on GamePass? Here’s hoping 🤞

I have it on PS5. Thought it was pretty good, though overrated imo. I’d probably give it 8/10. No reason to not try it though if you have GP and decide for yourself.

Train Sim world 3, AC Valhalla Dawn of Ragnarok, Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, and Splatoon 3.

I think I might finally pick up the Dawn of Ragnarok expansion. I was pretty burnt out on Valhalla, but having not touched it now for several months I think I’m ready to dive back in!
