@Kaloudz I do agree on that, however those plans for next gen I cannot say the same. If they are indeed true and playstation/Nintendo do not follow I may swap...
@OrfeasDourvas changing engines is not what I would call a remaster... I am expecting way less than that lol. Like up res some textures and call it a day
@OrfeasDourvas although I agree we will not get elder scrolls 6 until at least 2026/26, not sure remasters would be made internally. It looks like a job easily outsourced or made by other teams at Mst/Bts
@sd7232 I don't see why not. Gyro is not something related to the console hardware I believe. Just software and controller. So basically it should work on any series (or Xbox One even) as long as the games allow it which are probably not many because Xbox never had a controller option for it
@Dan1283 fair enough. Although I would say it is not that it was wrongly advertised but that people created expectations for something Bethesda never said it was in the game.
@Dan1283 in which way is starfield not as advertised? As for example in terms of traveling from planets to space they allways said it was not going to be present in the game (just saying)
As someone that only really finished Skyrim, I am now 50h+ into Starfield and played the first couple of hours of both Oblivion and Fallout 3 I have to say Starfield is my favourite as I have now completed all factions sidequests and they are brilliant (got to a point in the main story where I am not that happy to but the one in Skyrim was also very forgettable so...) Regarding fallout it has a thing I am not a big fan in scarce ammunition so it is hard to comeback to it.
I do tend to play 2/3h on workdays and 5+ on weekends (maybe more ok those days depending on my other plans with friends). However I don't buy many day one releases (this year I believe it was only hogwarts and Zelda so far)
@theduckofdeath yeah, that is common in the genre. I did the same and leveled up once or twice and got comfortably to the second stage but destroyed after it and if I remember correctly than Zelda was released and I never came back as I was already sold on it regardless.
@OldGamer999 I also want a Minimap however they have a waypoint already. If you use the scan ability it will show you lines on the floor with the direction to the quest you are in.
Well this may well be the best way to check my recently updated 120hz TV
I liked the demo but the final boss was already too hard for me so hearing about harder than that is something that I will have to keep in mind though... also not sure when I will be able to fully embrace it while I am still far from finishing Starfield and I definitely want to play cyberpunk next
@Cashews I tend to agree with you (that of a dictator makes a good game I only care that it was a good game). Said so this scenario is just bizarre as if they track it by the times a user install the software you can have gamer mobs doing it over and over just to crap on a company they don't like (like they do today on metacritic...)
That list is much better than I would expect. Really full of bangers. It will be interesting to follow how will they update it and how long games will stay.
I would like them not to introduce an "platinum" style achievements as in my case I really like to see my gamerscore going up but I almost never care about going for the boring last achievements. As it is I do rank up some 2000-3000 on a good month while finishing 2-4 games but I believe I've completed no more than 5/6 in 3 years
@Dan1283 can't say the same. Generally, in my experience, quick resume works flawless 90% of the games and the other 10% simple does not work and boot the game at the start.
Had an early start before work this morning just to take the start and character creation out of the way for later tonight (just got into the spaceship). So far so good with a lot to take in the way menus work and whatnot.
@Tomato_Goose let me know if you want to be tagged to the club list (so you could vote for the games each month). You don't need to participate every month!
In a way I don't want it to be true as I own the game twice already and never played more than the first hour lol (GameCube physical and Xbox digitally)
@Bartig yeah, I thought the same. Later you get more relics so you can try to change the difficulty to your liking best but it is allways strange. I would prefer the normal difficulty to be more standard
Either I suck at it or the game is hard as heck and leveling takes ages with small upgrades... Turned on the first relic and now it is stupidly easy...
@BRT15 I had the same exact thought when I saw this interview last night. They are in some way insomniac's Xbox studio as they tackle a lot of projects and have shorter dev time than average and deliver every time.
@Altaria_97 like the others said you are probably better suited by playing both. You are welcome to share your thoughts from blind forest at the game club if you'll fancy it.
I would prefer if they patch the current gen versions... I pre-ordered the game after reviews came out but returned it when I realized it was so poorly optimized (before opening it). Now I am waiting for a cheaper price
@Casco I also fell in love with the game even though I totally dismissed it at launch. But I am not sure I played as intended as after having vehicles I almost completely stopped walking (even in the snow mountains and went by truck EVERYWHERE )
I played some 10-15h on PC while in free trial but gave up because I don't have a comfortable setup in the office. If it has the same free trial and even better I can have my save progressed to Xbox I will continue it for sure
As someone that never personalized the old UI, it feels a bit strange to start with (recently released games on GP is way lower than I would prefer) but I like the option for background image in line with the game you're playing.
It is kind of crazy to think that a studio that many until recently saw as almost "indie" grew to a staff of 1100 people!! They definitely are in need of some proper internal management shift...
@themightyant the strange part is that is not like that. Around me it was easier to find Series X in 2021 than in the last 12 months. And Phill Spencer mentioned they were trying to fix that during June's Microsoft showcase so it should be fairly common across most markets (maybe apart from US)
Fine by me. I really did not like this game as it is an Ubisoft Open world at its core and I cannot stand them. Funnily enough from all their catalogue of open world games this is easily the one I played the most (as I finish it) as I tend to stop around the 5h mark from boredom
I have to say I never played an Xbox, 360 or One! My journey with Xbox started with the series X in 2021. I kind of moved away from consoles during the 64 era and only the Switch brought me back in force.

Re: Poll: Based On What You've Played So Far, What Score Would You Give Starfield?
I am a bit on the fence after 15h+. The game has been very very buggy in my experience and so far I prefer Skyrim

Re: Starfield Players Are Loving Xbox Quick Resume, But Some Users Are Reporting Issues
I had a bug where after starting from quick resume it lagged like crazy for 30s to 1min but then it went ok after it.

Re: Star Wars Jedi: Survivor Update 'Substantially Improves' Performance Mode On Xbox
Ok, I guess it is time to check the prices on the physical copy!
P.s: however now with Starfield, followed by cyberpunk expansion and super mario RPG I don't see myself playing it before December...
Re: Starfield Release Date, Release Times & Preload Details On Xbox Game Pass
Only now realized it will be available from this night (more like tomorrow). In my mind I thought it was a week later from the early access.

Re: Starfield Fans, What Are Your Plans Over The Next Few Days?
I will be speedrunning through Sea of Stars so I can be ready when Starfield releases on game pass next week

Re: Review: Sea of Stars - An Instant Indie Classic Magics Its Way Onto Xbox Game Pass
Dammit, now I need to try and beat Chrono cross as quick as possible and get on this straight away ahead of Starfield...
Re: Microsoft Announces Plan To Sell Activision Cloud Gaming Rights To Ubisoft
Fine by me. Cloud will take at least 15 years to be worth it anyways...
Re: Talking Point: What Would Convince You To Use Xbox Cloud Gaming More Often?
I used only once or twice a literally the only way to use it more often would be for them to totally remove the extra lag
Re: Bethesda Hosting Pre-Launch Developer Q&A On Starfield Next Week
I will have a look at it! This is easily my most anticipated game right now and I am crossing my fingers it does deliver without too much junk
Re: Talking Point: Should Xbox Make A Revised Controller With Haptic Feedback?
No thank you. Much preferred if they had motion controls as they can add a bit of tight movements when aiming
Re: Obsidian Confident There Will Be A Lot Of People Who 'Love' Avowed
@Kaloudz I would say outer worlds is also a lighter version in terms of UI, more in line with an Ubisoft Open world.
Re: Obsidian Confident There Will Be A Lot Of People Who 'Love' Avowed
@Kaloudz if you like games like Skyrim or fallout it as a sort of lighter version of it with really good characters and choices

Re: Hogwarts Legacy Developer Seemingly Working On New Project
Call me interested. Hogwarts Legacy is a solid game and this team can deliver great things on a second entry (either a sequel or something new)

Re: Another Four Games Will Leave Xbox Game Pass Soon (August 15)
@UnusedBabyWipes it has been given away for free on Epic game store though (although I played the OG on Gamepass to add to my gamerscore )
Re: Xbox & Square Enix Announce Plans To 'Partner Closely' On Future Games
I played some 10-15h on PC while in free trial but gave up because I don't have a comfortable setup in the office. If it has the same free trial and even better I can have my save progressed to Xbox I will continue it for sure
Re: Soapbox: The New Xbox Dashboard Looks Clean, But It Still Needs Work
I agree pretty much with everything on the article (altough it does not bother me much as I never customized anything prior)
Re: Xbox Games With Gold For August 2023 Announced
I meant to play blue fire at some point so better than usual I guess lol
Re: It's Finally Here! The New Xbox Dashboard Has Arrived

Re: Xbox Gaming Revenue Up 1% YoY In Latest Earnings Report
@themightyant they should be disappointed no argue on that but it may well be that is on them as well as some lack of demand for the product.
Re: CD Projekt Red Says 'Overstaffing' Issues Will Result In 100 Job Losses

@themightyant the strange part is that is not like that. Around me it was easier to find Series X in 2021 than in the last 12 months. And Phill Spencer mentioned they were trying to fix that during June's Microsoft showcase so it should be fairly common across most markets (maybe apart from US)
Re: Ubisoft Reportedly Cancelled 'Immortals Fenyx Rising' Sequel Earlier This Month
Fine by me. I really did not like this game as it is an Ubisoft Open world at its core and I cannot stand them. Funnily enough from all their catalogue of open world games this is easily the one I played the most (as I finish it) as I tend to stop around the 5h mark from boredom
Re: Talking Point: What Are Your Earliest Xbox Memories?
I have to say I never played an Xbox, 360 or One! My journey with Xbox started with the series X in 2021. I kind of moved away from consoles during the 64 era and only the Switch brought me back in force.
