Call me old-fashioned, but Alan Wake II, Robocop and MGS was all I needed today!
Was hoping for more gamepass additions, there was barely any announcements in that regard. I was holding onto hope that either Robocop or Alan Wake 2 were headed to gamepass.
The games looked great but what the hell happened to the video? It lagged and started freezing!
Viewers dropped to below 500 very quickly!!!
Whoever was in charge of all that needs firing!
Ruined it for the watcher!
This is the first show case for my new grading system. Simple and fair across all platforms, but a bit strict but gets the job fairly done.
So for every game I would really considering purchasing as it was shown in the showcase gets one point.
Therefore:
F = zeros game
E = one game
D = two games
C= three games
B= four games
A= Fives game and above
So it’s an E for this showcase the game was Alan Wake 2.
Simple but fair system across all platform showcases. Doesn’t matter if the games are exclusive or multiplatform or on any subscription service or not.
Format and structure were perfect, very little fluff or wasted time. Games wise I'd give it a D personally, really only 1 thing of note though I do hope they continue to do these!
The two games For me during this showcase are :Like A Dragon Infinite Wealth and Dungeons of Hinterburg. Too many Battle Royale and First person games for my taste
C. It's largely what I expected from what they said, I gave it a C because it felt light on gamepass or "xbox stuff" this could have easily been one those presentations from smaller publishers.
I do think not having Ark remaster on gamepass is a missed trick by wildcard, the trailer looked nice but not "ignore the fact this isn't free, will be premium priced, and we'll be killing OG servers" nice.
B, in huge part because after so much drama before the MGS3 remake was announced, many insisted it was going to be a PS5 exclusive yet here we are, with Xbox delivering us the first in-engine footage.
Also, Robocop is looking amazing! Can’t wait for that one!
Oh and also loved to see that Animal Crossing-style mini game reveal for Infinite Wealth!
C - although I won't be buying any of these - but I would play Alan Wake 2 and Robocop when they drop in price and/or maybe come to Game Pass. Most of the others I wouldn't play for 'free' on Game Pass, but maybe 1 or 2 will get tried if they review well and on GP - certainly wouldn't buy...
I gave it a B as it seemed like a good effort but in reality it made me less excited for Dungeons of H and Yakuza …
Gave it a B rating. Really enjoyed the layout and minimal talking. The QR codes for interviews was great and if you wanted to watch them, go ahead. Hopefully more of that in future showcases. Highlights were Alan Wake 2, MGS3 Delta, Still Wakes the Deep and Dungeons of Hinterberg.
C
Needed a few more surprises
C wasn't disappointed but it could have been better
I enjoyed the show but thought it was too short. All those games looked impressive, but I'll only be buying like a dragon.
Game wise nothing new for me (I will definitely buy MGS 3 but we already know about it), however the format is a big win. Leaving extra dev commentaries and look out for a QR code after the show is a bliss!
well, A good presentation. I have both the PS5 and the xbox serie : guess which machine is sued by me, all the time ? Yeap, xbox serie X. I still don't understand the "aura" of Sony on this generation of console : Sony have Infamous, wipeout and many more IP... and they do what ? The last of part 1 or 2 ... remastered, etc. wow.. lazy.. The robocop looks really like the movie of the 80ies... groovy !!
