As part of today's massive leak of Xbox information, Bethesda has been hit hard! A release schedule from July 2020 has been published online, revealing a whole bunch of games that have never been announced.
This list includes Fallout 3 and Oblivion remasters (!), a new DOOM Year Zero game, new entries in the Dishonored and Ghostwire: Tokyo series, and more. You can check out the full list in the tweet below:
It's important to reiterate that this schedule dates back to before Microsoft even acquired Bethesda, so a lot could have changed since then. The release windows will definitely have been pushed around, plenty of titles have probably been added to the list, and there's a good chance one or two of them could have been cancelled as well.
If everything in this document is still on track to release, we're pretty darn excited about that Oblivion remaster in particular. It's just a shame that none of these will be surprises anymore... this has definitely been a very damaging leak!

Looking forward to a new Ghostwire: Tokyo 2.
This roadmap has definitely slipped from the proposed dates. Still, would be nice to see the oblivion remake next year
@Rockboy247 remaster* don't get your hopes up too high
So TESVI should be out by 26 or 27 at the latest.
Fallout oblivion remasters would be amazing!!
@Cherip-the-Ripper yep my bad!
@OrfeasDourvas although I agree we will not get elder scrolls 6 until at least 2026/26, not sure remasters would be made internally. It looks like a job easily outsourced or made by other teams at Mst/Bts
I would like all of this to happen, but I don't think any of it will.
@Balta666 Definitely. And since this almost proves the previous rumour, it seems like a lock that Virtuos is making it.
They also made Dark Souls Remastered which was a very subpar job.
If the rumours are to be believed, it's the exact same game running on UE5 visuals, kinda like Spyro and Crash were (not UE5)
Dishonored 3 and Fallout 3 and Oblivion remaster count me interested.
@OrfeasDourvas changing engines is not what I would call a remaster... I am expecting way less than that lol. Like up res some textures and call it a day
@Kaloudz I do agree on that, however those plans for next gen I cannot say the same. If they are indeed true and playstation/Nintendo do not follow I may swap...
@Balta666 They're not changing engines. Just for the visuals and/or HUD.
Elder Scrolls 6 is 1000% not coming next year lol.
Although its nice to know what they are working on now, even if they themselves didn't want us to know.
No Black & White remake so disappointed. Fallout 3 & Oblivion will do 👍 Ghostwire Tokyo 2, Dishonored 3 & Doom not surprising but welcome.
Now an Oblivion remaster is something I would definitely get excited about. Starfailed - not so much, but an Oblivion remaster - hell yes!
I would looove to have Oblivion remaster on the Switch, but probably will be Xbox exclusive.
Guess I must have missed the Starfield DLC and Indiana Jones game released last year
Remaster yawn
The future is bright.
Predicting future releases based on a document from 2020 which has already not come to fruition is a pretty silly endeavour.
But I suspect people will be all over it anyway:)
Certainly some titles mentioned I would like to see..
Since document is from 2020 I don't think we should take GhostWire 2 for granted. Especially since there is a rumor that Tango is making JRPG...
Otherwise excellent list. Dishonored 3 and new DOOM? Gimme
@Moonglow Hibiki is Hi-Fi Rush. So that was released in January.
no! we need a REMAKE of morrowind and quake 4.
If they don't release Oblovion, someone might get hurt....
Shame no re-re-re-re-re-re-re-release of Skyrim.
So the leak by the former employee talking about a oblivion remake was true
@Kaloudz I don't trust cloud to be any good in less than 15/20 years. I also prefer physical media.
Plenty in there I am excited for especially Dishonored 3, more Doom & Oblivion/Fallout 3 remasters. Hopefully this is still the plan considering this is a 3 year old document from before the Zenimax merger.
@Kaloudz i am not seeing a Quake reboot on there buddy. Sad face sad face sad face. I really wanted that to be real and come back. I dislike battle royal games so much. Looks like i will have to stick to COD and even that is no longer a small map shooter.

Unfortunately that is unlikely. They are already several years behind on matching the targets mentioned on some of the documents, i'd add at least 2-3 years to that AND assume that some of the plans changed post acquisition. This is a 3 year old document.
@Kaloudz Thanks, that makes me feel a little bit better. You and i have been wanting this game for a long time. I would be all over it. Instead of playing today’s shooters that are just not fun for me.
Surprised about Doom. I think most people I follow were expecting iD to move on to a Quake reboot instead of a prequel.
I am also a bit surprised about a Fallout 3 remaster. We all heard a lot about a Skyrim-style anniversary release of FO4 but 3 is a bit of a surprise. Recently got all achievements on the FO3 for 360 in BC mode and honestly would do it again with a remaster. Hopefully they improve on some character models and add a few QOL features instead of just making a port.
Similar about Oblivion, aside the fact that we have heard rumors about that one for a while.
Also very happy Ghostwire is getting a sequel as well as a new Dishonored.
Edit : oh wait, is this Day Zero thing for doom just DLC? Thought it was a stand alone title…
Edit 2: yea it’s stand alone, it reads “Doom Day Zero & DLC”
Judging by the year on many those, safe to say Xbox missed the target dates.
sign me up for oblivion remaster.
Fallout 3 and Oblivion have very dated graphics and combat. It'd be a lot of work to get those ones right. I hope they go big with those projects.
I’m so ready for Oblivion and Fallout 3 remasters, I’ve been wanting to replay both om them! Can’t wait
I hope this doesn’t impact Skyblivion.
@Moonglow Hexen is owned by ABK. The list of titles here, even the unnamed projects, come from Bethesda pre-acquisition so Hexen is not one of them.
Oblivion Remaster is all I want (as long as it doesn't play as Skyrim). Doesn't need it, but the game is not available in my region.
@Kaloudz Yeah i am hopeful. Quake 2 was given lots of love on that remake. Good to see it not just slapped together. Maybe we will hear more about Quake in 2024.
@Kaloudz yeah i know a good amount of shooter fans like us that want a Quake reboot or just modern game. Battle Royal is a burn out for many and for me it was never a thing i even wanted to play. I am hoping that someone makes a shooter that requires skill over building blocks.
@Kaloudz yeah thats the thing about video games i don’t like, is when 1 thing gets hot and makes money, the whole industry comes to clone it to death and us gamers that don’t like it are stuck with nothing or maybe 1-2 games in the genre. I am a hardcore first person shooter fan. Have been for a long long time. This is the longest drought of good FPS’s I’ve had to play in my life. Fortnite is beyond stupid to me, PUBG never even tried and the list games on and on. When Gears of War comes back out i will log 500 hours into it’s multiplayer like i did with Gears 5 cause even tho it’s not a FPS, i love the gameplay and have nothing else to turn to. Thank god coalition doesn’t make a BR and make us build our own things to cover and shoot behind hahaha
Doom Year Zero sounds fun. Also some chance we'll be getting Starfield DLC next year.
@Kaloudz thanks, yeah i wish someone would try something else. Halo infinite was fun until you played the same 3 maps for 100 hours so i left. COD is still 6 vs 6 which is cool, but the maps are made for 10 vs 10, so while i don’t have to build anything. The action can slow down a little too much for my liking. Hero shooters like Overwatch are just being handled so poorly i can’t even take them seriously. There’s no where else to turn.
@Kaloudz i had a Dreamcast but i don’t remember a friends list. I wasn’t the hugest Dreamcast fan but i did like it enough to play it a good bit.
@Kaloudz Err... There's quite a lot of FPS' around. Or are you talking about competitive multiplayer FPS'?
I don't think you're saying something too bold about Fortnite, there's plenty of hate to go around for that and rightfully so, that monster forever poisoned the well and we'll seemingly never recover from this seasonal BattlePass, FOMO ridden hellscape.
