Things I'd like to see;
A date for Baldurs Gate
Whatever they are doing with people can fly
Maybe a surprise drop on GP

@lechugajr hard to know. Nintendo do indie directs more than Xbox so maybe there. Either way, when it's announced, xbox will get show its day one on game pass.

I think this is a show were xbox show their love to 3rd party studios and show there games, maybe some good games annonced for Gamepass (bulder gate 3 is a high chance because Microsft seem to like flexing those days and getting the game that ps fanboy tried to praise so mich to not feel bad missing starfield is a huge flex)

@frabbit I was thinking that as well 😋 I've been holding off getting it for ps5 because I'd prefer to play it on my Series X.

It's impressive that there weren't any leaks about this. Usually any sort of show by 1st party, even a small partner one like this, hits the rumor mill like a month before hand.

@BacklogBrad that's probably because there isn't anything huge to be leaked. Don't expect much from this event. If it was supposed to have a huge annoucement, they would have started advertising the date of the show a month prior and would be teasing and building hype for it. Like they do for the June showcases.

At this point it's more likely that they will save any huge announcement for the unbearably long, boring and self-indulgent Geoff Keighly's little award show. I'll be happy to see whatever trailer Xbox decides to drop there in the following morning.

@RazputinAquato There have been indie directs with absolutely nothing to reveal and those were leaked well ahead of time.

I'm not expecting much from the show, but I did expect the announcement to leak ahead of time. Its weird for one of the 1st parties to announce a show without hearing something before hand.

(by leaks, I dont mean "I'm hearing game x will be there" I was thinking "I'm hearing there is an xbox show coming")

These are all first party studios of Microsoft. So that's why I don't think you understand what third party partners are

@Vipor007 I really want a remake of Quake 4. I'd even be happy with an updated port at this point.

It won't happen here obviously but hopefully sometime soon.

Why aren't any of the gaming news sites asking MS/Phil Spencer why we're still being subjected to Bethesda accounts? The only account I should need on Xbox is my goddamn Xbox account. It's literally the sole reason I skipped Redfall and continue to avoid it.

@ZuneTattooGuy @Vipor007 I don't think either you understand... First is the Thirst Party, then comes the After Party, and by the time the Third Party comes along, everyone is quite hungover and there's barely any pizza left.
Anyway, I'm hoping for Balan Wonderland 2 & the Hentai update for Sea of Thieves.

I hope we get details of some Square Enix drops. I may have access anyway, but I'd like to see these games on all platforms, and the recent positive comments from Square give me hope that some tasty 3rd party treats will arrive.

I think a date for BG3 on Xbox is a safe bet
