To be honest the video on X is way better than I expected! I know Ubisoft is on their lows now, but man, they build maybe the best open worlds out there!

First Commandos game had - maybe - the worst gamepad controls in a game! If they haven't fixed them this is a dead game before it launches..!!

I'm an Xbox owner since 2005. All these years never touched any Halo game (as a Battlefield junkie). Yesterday downloaded Halo: MCC and started Reach. I'm expecting a nice journey for all these games. Yeah, it's a bit rough on Series X because they're old but love the storyline (I have almost 10 hours on Reach).

Only their campaigns, not their bunny hopper multiplayer!!

I'm on Series X and LG C1 65" OLED. BF 2042 puts a shame into Starfield regarding graphics and HDR implementation! From the first moment I disliked what I saw with Starfield. Have played around 15h-20h and find it's HDR very disturbing!!

@MaccaMUFC that's a life saver tip. I'm early on the game (the first mission I think where I have to take out the captain), and there are thousands of pieces in it's base. Lost, almost an hour looting before proceeding to the captain, and this made me really bored of the game and shut it down.
It's really stupid of the devs side to get 1000 pieces of crap in just a place..
If I wouldn't read your message I would uninstall the game..
Lastly, how we can check which items are valuable?

@Markatron84 Indeed, it's hell. But I like Ubisoft's open worlds, plus this Valhalla era. And with the DLCs not even have completed the 60% of achievements..

Yesterday - after 2 years - reinstalled AC:Valhalla and completed the Siege of Paris, totalling 175 hours. So 160+ is a good thing.

Wish we could buy the game only for the campaign. Some of us don't stand the crappy MP or Cheatzone...

One of the best games around! Have finished it at Xbox One X, and last week finished it again with DLCs that I haven't played on Xbox Series X. Highly recommended!

Have bought the Ultimate Edition (damn me 1 year ago), so I'll be able to play first day. The game was really bad! Didn't stopped playing though.
But after S01 the game is constantly changing to better. Every new season (now we got the S03) it gets more attention from devs side. In it's current state it had to be released one year ago.
The reworked class system will give a bump to the players count, for sure. The promise and the roadmap for S04 and S05 is very good news. I hope they won't leave it like they did with BFV.
I've spent hundred of hours and really enjoying the game. The gunplay is fabulous, the graphics are insane!

BF2042 after Season 1 is very enjoyable, sure not BF1 or BF5 level, but a click below. You can have some very nice Battlefield moments!

@jamescrowx Exactly! Still Ground War is way more arcade than BF2042. And you can feel it from from first second in any vehicle!
Also, the other big problem of MW2 compared to BF2042 is the TTK. And noone mention it! BF2042 has the best gunplay in any FPS on the store now. It needs skill to kill your opponent (even if he started shooting at you first you have the chance to kill him). Try this on MW.
The article says "after 5-6 days of continuing play", it's obvious the writer haven't played BF2042 after Season 1 update (not even Season 2).

@BRT15 The MWII beta (and so on the game itself) is a bunny hop simulator (again). BF 2042 after Season 1 update is really fun. And even more fun with yesterday's update. The player base has been drastically improved the last 3 months!

Boring, as boring was on FH3! We play FH for the open world and as close to realism for it's kind. We don't need Hot Wheels expansions, there's a dedicated game for this.
Don't even bother to update the game...sigh...

Guys in which order we should play them?

Commandos!! Oh man, nostalgia! Remembering playing it on PC, so wonderful and tactical game.

Boring. It's like replaying FH3.

Played yesterday for couple hours. The portal mode with the old Battlefield maps but with the new specialists and weapons, and I have to say it was pretty fun! I know that there are lot need to be fixed (specially the 2042 maps and add more weapons) but the game gives me again the feeling to come back from work and play again.

I've never played GTA V. I think it's time to try it now on Series X. Although with Cyberpunk, XCOM, and now GTA the day should have at least 30 hours.

Does it support 60 FPS?
From some gameplay videos it's like Gear Tactics and Desperados?

Quick resume is very good on paper..
Though, when you're trying to quick resume a game that needs to connect online servers never connects...you have to quit the game and the restart it.
For example, FH5, BF1, BFV, BF2042, COD etc.

Only console players should play together. Leave the PC outside.
On Battlefield 2042 I have disabled cross-play (unfortunately can't disable it only for PC but for PS too) and playing only with Xbox players. That's fair.
