Late last week, CD Projekt Red essentially relaunched Cyberpunk 2077 on Xbox Series X|S with a suite of new features hitting the current-gen version of the game. Almost three years on from its original Xbox One launch, CDPR's cyberpunk RPG is now a lot closer to the team's original vision for the game, which is great to finally see.
The whole relaunch also ties into an upcoming expansion in the form of Phantom Liberty - which we've been hands-on with ahead of its launch this week. In short, we were amazed by the turnaround here and had a great time with both the 2.0 version of the base game and its expansive DLC add-on.
So, ahead of the public release of Phantom Liberty, how are you feeling about Cyberpunk 2077's big overhaul? Is the game finally living up to your expectations, or does it still fall a wee bit short of what you expected from the next game by The Witcher 3 developer?

It's pretty much the realization of what they had originally promised the game would be. Bravo to the team at CD Projekt Red for pushing through. Their hard work is appreciated.
Not touched it yet.
Playing Starfield.
May play it after, when I can get Phantom Liberty for cheap.
It's difficult to go back to starfield after trying cyberpunk.. thats giving a lot of praise to the latter
I fired it up just to test out the new patch.
Could be a RT thing, but I noticed a lot of weird lighting bugs when driving around the city.
However, everything feels so much better! Combat felt more snappy and I liked the new ways to build your character. Driving tweaks were especially welcome. I did a few side missions just to have something to do and everything just seemed overall better. That being said, it has been a while since I played the game (haven't touched it much since I beat it on X1X).
One thing I seemed to miss entirely, are Skills. How in the heck did I even level those up?! How do I know what I need to do to level those up?! I have Skill levels in the teens (not very high at all) and I have zero idea how I even got them to where they are. LOL!
I guess I should dive into the ingame Journal entries and on-line information to understand those because my Cyberware limit is tapped and it feels awfully low at 112 but my Armor capacity is like 185 or something.
@fabisputza007 I'm catching some flak over at the current Starfield patch article comment section for having the same opinion.
Cyberpunk > Starfield
Even without the latest big update!!
I'm too busy dealing with my addiction to Starfield. Currently waiting for Phantom Liberty to come out before I jump back in Cyberpunk 2077.
Hey wait THAT'S TOMORROW.
I've just fired it up for another playthrough. No overly flash visuals for my system but really looking forward to some interactions with the police and I think I might be a bit more engaged with skill progression this time around. It was all a bit much to follow before. I've always liked the accessibility of Borderlands in the upgrades.
