Playground Games has treated us to some more footage of Forza Horizon 5's Hot Wheels expansion, showcasing the DLC's diverse biomes and expansive track layouts. This might be a bit of a repeat of the Forza Horizon 3 DLC of the same name, but that doesn't mean it looks any less fun.
The brief demo also touched on the nature of the Hot Wheels map, and how the crazy track layouts hang above a slice of Mexico's rugged landscape. It'll be available really early on for new players too, as you'll only need to play the main game's brief introduction — and buy the DLC of course — before going hands on with Hot Wheels.
The expansion hits Forza Horizon 5 on July 19th, which is like, literally right around the corner. This one, and the game's forthcoming 2nd expansion, should tie us over nicely until 2023's Forza Motorsport reboot. Vroom vroom.
Will you be hitting the Hot Wheels tracks on July 19th? Let us know in the comments!

Boring. It's like replaying FH3.
@vded Likely a lot of FH fans nowadays never played FH3.
FH4 was the first FH that got really popular, and FH5 even more so. So I'd bet at least 50% of FH5 players have never played FH3. Especially since Game Pass came along, which is where most of FH4/5 players come from.
Hot Wheels was the best expansion. Looking forward to this and it changing up the FH gameplay.
