Earlier this week, Activision finally unveiled this year's Call of Duty game as Modern Warfare 3 - a direct sequel to last year's Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. While Monday's teaser was purely cinematic, a new 'Makarov Reveal Trailer' has just been released, and it gives us our first look at in-game footage.
You can take a peek at the new trailer up above, which is primarily here to show off returning Modern Warfare series villain - Makarov. Shots of him are interspliced with snippets of gameplay, showcasing a very similar look to last year's title.
That's probably to be expected, given MW3 is a direct sequel running on the same tech after all. This is the first time we've ever seen two Modern Warfare games release back-to-back though, and it'll be interesting to see how Activision manages to differentiate the two releases.
One way of doing that could be a 'Zombies' mode of some kind. Modern Warfare 2 omitted any such mode, but rumours have suggested that MW3 will contain the supernatural horde mode in some fashion. Let's hope we get more information on that during the team's big reveal on August 17th.
