Earlier this week, Activision finally unveiled this year's Call of Duty game as Modern Warfare 3 - a direct sequel to last year's Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. While Monday's teaser was purely cinematic, a new 'Makarov Reveal Trailer' has just been released, and it gives us our first look at in-game footage.
You can take a peek at the new trailer up above, which is primarily here to show off returning Modern Warfare series villain - Makarov. Shots of him are interspliced with snippets of gameplay, showcasing a very similar look to last year's title.

That's probably to be expected, given MW3 is a direct sequel running on the same tech after all. This is the first time we've ever seen two Modern Warfare games release back-to-back though, and it'll be interesting to see how Activision manages to differentiate the two releases.
One way of doing that could be a 'Zombies' mode of some kind. Modern Warfare 2 omitted any such mode, but rumours have suggested that MW3 will contain the supernatural horde mode in some fashion. Let's hope we get more information on that during the team's big reveal on August 17th.
What do you think to the reveal of Modern Warfare 3 so far? Let us know what you want to see most from the game down below!

@Moonglow 😄 soooooon?
Bought MW1 and MW2, so I don't think I'm going to buy this just too much of an outlay. If the Gulf War COD by Treyarch next year rumour turns out to be true and reviews well, I might pick that up.
@BRT15 Yeah I have not been a fan of this MW reboot and I was especially disappointed in the MW2 reboot.
Honestly, I doubt I will ever buy a new COD again. Considering the Activision deal, I am fine with just waiting for them to hit Gamepass.
After playing the MW2 campaign on sale from CDKeys I'm actually REALLY looking forward to this campaign. really enjoyed it.
@J_Mo_Money Is it worth buying just for the campaign? Almost all CoD games have spectacular campaigns, I don't care about multiplayer in MW2.
@vded Probably not for $70 but look on CDKeys and it's currently around $41 for the cross gen bundle. I thought the campaign was great, and that's all i plan on playing. I'd jump on that price!
@J_Mo_Money much appreciated!
