Hate to say it, but the rights to Tenchu were sold by Activision to FromSoftware , excluding the ones they already published , so maybe a remaster is possible but a remake or new game you have to go through FromSoftware.

Microsoft is not out to kill or hurt Sony, Activision/Blizzard board were looking for a exit strategy, they could have been bought by another party, even after the offer from Microsoft they were open for other parties to top the offer, parties like Tencent/Amazon magnitude. Better Microsoft than those I think, if the deal goes through (which I expect it will) it still gonna take more than a year till the ink is dry.

Little Computer People was fun (early form of the Sims I guess) , Last Ninja on c64, was Activision also I think, only as publisher I guess, but they still could have rights to this stuff, these are frkn 35+ years old by now.... yep I'm a dino...

@isturbo1984 Banjo Kazooie is not a port, they emulate the N64 on switch, so Nintendo just runs their 'own' code from the cartridge on the switch, with permission from Microsoft. PC is not that different from Xbox (custom version of windows), and they always said they would do Xbox and PC versions, just like Sony, now slowly but surely putting every game also on PC.

Love the game so far, get a little bit of a hades vibe, although not roguelike and different graphicstyle , same level of polish

Still trying to wrap my head around this acquisition, it's huge.... read about Candy Crush not being what it used to be, but it's still the number one ranked mobile game with like 275 million people playing it a month, and a lot of them are paying for microtransactions, what if you would put Candy Crush into gamepass and remove IAP from it, how many of those 275M would get gamepass at 10$ for an unlimited candy crush experience.... could be huge.

Awesome, played the first one on a switch, so this is great news, maybe not a lot longer game than the first one, which I like, finished the Gunk yesterday and liked the length of it, welcome change to the games I normally play which mostly take 60+ hours to finish.

We only use the UHD drive for movies in the one x connected to 4K tv, and that performs superb, for example the Harry Potter 4k collection (which are 100gb discs) runs fluid, haven't tried it on Series X yet, it's connected to a 1440p monitor, gamediscs run fine btw, but gonna try it out tonight, see if I can replicate what people are reporting.

Jonathan Nolan sounds good, but hope he also helps with the writing not just directing/producing.

Yep, have got this problem a while now I think, not a huge annoyance though, thought system was just busy in the background, being in the the insiders program (beta ring) you put up with little quirks like this I guess. If I encounter a bigger problem I would file a report, but thought this was not a bug.

Love these types of games, nice surprise for the first week, with Mass Effect on the way... love gamepass.

Mass Effect LE awesome, was expecting it on EA play, but still great news, and also great that games that leave gamepass can still return, like Outerwilds , I think GTA5 was on gamepass 2 times as well...

I should say 360 but I'm gonna say Series S . Got an X too, so gave the S to one of my sons, the other one has a dedicated games pc, and the one I gave an S to was saving up for a gaming pc too, but then the chipshortage hit , crazy prices for dedicated graphics cards put that on hold. He's really into the S now, and seeing how it performs, running the Matrix Awakens UE5 tech demo without any issues, and how small it is, it's a real marvel of engineering.
@JaYJ Love(d) the one x too, it's now the perfect dedicated media machine for my wife.

Impressive list to start with , and these are only the ones that got confirmed, gonna be a great year, paid up for 3 years of gamepass again, not gonna be disappointed.

got the 4tb Xbox Seagate (90 euro's) i got with the series s now connected to the later acquired series x, moving stuff around isn't that bad

Ah i get it, yeah it's not right,but if you're that keen on getting a console I think you're better off with a bundle (with possibly some additional crap you didn't ask for) then pay the same price to a scalper, especially warranty wise.

Pigeon simulator looks a lot like deer simulator, which was just stupid, but my youngest daughter really likes it for some reason.

@Beermonkey, yeah gonna pull the trigger on Mad Max, it's cheap and what I hear of it a very underrated game, especially with the fps boost I reckon. Even if it's going in my backlog, I'm still at Assasins Creed III, and have bought everything of the series up to Valhalla, which by the time I played through the rest (which probably will be years) gonna be cheap too. But this week it's been Halo campaign week, what an awesome game that turned out to be.

Wise decision, after I saw the backlash they got yesterday with people cancelling their pre-order all over the internet. Maybe make a poll first, to see if the fans would like something. Then you wouldn't get burned this much. I don't think many people are gonna re-pre-order after this.

January would have been better, or even delay it till March or April, in February you're gonna get swamped by Elden Ring, Horizon and what not, don't know what they were thinking there in the marketing/publishing department. But hey if it doesn't get picked up enough at launch, it's gonna be in gamepass real soon, I don't think it's coming to gamepass day one when I last looked it up at Xbox Wire.

My son is gonna be over the moon when it drops, awesome was gonna buy it for him, and probably gonna when it leaves service ( with discount) and probably buy the dlcs now too

48GB, which is considered relatively small these days, I went from an apple IIc with a huge 128KB at that time (1984 or so), to games on my commodore 64 which spanned both sides of a 5.25" floppy which was like a 320KB which was massive for that time, so 48GB is like 390.000+ times the size of that floppy.... incredible how fast this went in a few decades...

Got a 400mb/s connection so should be good, but like people say here servers gonna get hit hard, so we'll see if we get to download it from the get go and what speeds we're gonna get. just under 11 hours to go.

Got a great internet connection , but yes had a lot of issues with connecting to the gameservers, and on top of that, championships I went first in (against highly skilled drivatars) which wasn't easy and then not getting the (forza)points was very dissapointing, waiting for some fixes now.... It's an awesome game when it works and gives you the right amount of points.

I bought a physical copy of Assassin's Creed Origins Deluxe for 8 euro's directly from Ubisoft... that's it.

@JRJalapeno, the discount will always be 20% minimum, and yes it's not there for weeks or so, always way longer, shortest I think was RDR2 and GTAV from rockstar which were available for like 3 months if I remember correctly, Gamepass is really the best deal in gaming.

Liked the atmosphere, played it for hours, but had some trouble with completing objectives, but damn this game is beautiful, gonna try it again this weekend, and see what's upgraded... .but then again they dropped so much this week, it's really getting silly... and bought physical copies of games during black friday, cheaper than digital including shipping, but it only adds to my backlog, wish we could buy time, cause that's the only commodity which I lack at this moment.
