You may have noticed yesterday that Halo Infinite received another update despite the 343 Industries team suggesting they were finished for the holidays, and that update was actually more of a hotfix targeting specific Xbox issues.
As of this hotfix, you should find Quick Resume is working more reliably on Xbox Series X and S, achievements will unlock as expected, and any customisations collected in the campaign will "consistently" unlock in multiplayer.
Here's the full list of patch notes, and the update size is around 1GB:
Global
- Improvements to online service connections after re-entering Halo Infinite using Quick Resume on Xbox Series X|S consoles. Players should see quicker and more stable reconnections to our services.
Campaign
- MJOLNIR Armor Locker customizations collected in Campaign are now consistently unlocked in the Multiplayer Customization menu.
- Players who did not receive their customizations, either due to losing their internet connection or using Quick Resume on Xbox Series X|S consoles, should now have their customizations unlocked.
- Xbox Achievement reliability has been improved in this update.
- Achievements no longer track progress toward their completion, but will unlock as expected when their conditions are met.
- If an Achievement’s conditions were met prior to this update but the Achievement did not unlock as completed yet, it should unlock after installing this update and continuing Campaign gameplay.

I had the first two story related acheivements unlock last night after this update was applied. I was thinking I might have to replay the campaign again to get them to pop.
Had a quick hour on campaign this morning and had 4 or 5 achievements pop as soon as I loaded up. Nice to know I can start using quick resume now too.
Quick resume seems to work now for me after the update, it didn’t before so that’s good.
Off subject, wow we don’t like scalpers but the shops in the UK at the minute hiding series x and PS5 behind £600 odd bundles forcing those buys on gamers and parents and then saying it helps with against scalpers. When they have had over a year to set up code systems etc to stop scalpers.
They as bad as each other.
Achievements i didn't get all popped upon loading up the Campaign. Good they finally fixed it
@Dezzy70 bundled with what? Extra controller, gamepass cards, or just games?, really curious.. controller wouldn't be that bad or 1 year of game pass...
@TheSilverFalcon
Usually a controller but also with games and headsets or even T-shirts or hats. They just try to sell you more in a big bundle when you may only want the console to make more money.
So instead of £450 you can end with £650 but only want the console. They just being bad to the general public and money grabbing by forcing the bundle sale at £650 and not selling the console on its own for £450, because they know people are desperate to get the console. It’s just naughty practice but not illegal of course.
@Dezzy70
Ah i get it, yeah it's not right,but if you're that keen on getting a console I think you're better off with a bundle (with possibly some additional crap you didn't ask for) then pay the same price to a scalper, especially warranty wise.
@TheSilverFalcon
You are correct, but shows how corrupt the shops are and as devious as scalpers in a different way.
It’s worse. It crashed for me and deleted the last 4 hours of play including a super annoying boss battle v Escharum. So frustrating.
