Series X - Kaze and the Wild Masks & Yooka - Laylee and the Impossible Lair. I've been on a platformer binge lately and these are currently cheap on sale.

PS5 - Tormented Souls which is a survival horror game inspired by Resident Evil and Silent HIll.

Done it and will see how it is. I'm glad Crash Bandicoot is relevant.

For some reason whenever Xbox has negative news whether true or false, people are acting like this is the end of Xbox and humanity is doomed forever. You lot need to chill the f*ck out and stop jumping to conclusions without researching first or more importantly letting the emotions get the better of you.

@Dezzy70 I used to get 4 mbps on a good day and it roughly took 2 years to download Microsoft Flight Simulator. Thankfully, I've upgraded to a better broadband service.

Changing my setting to HFR (High Framerate) is much better and have only had one instance of frame drop.

Have it pre installed for tomorrow, should be a fun game to play.

I finished it and thought it was ok. I much prefer the TimeSplitter series, with 2 and Future Perfect both backwards compatible on Xbox.

@Tonmoy 100% agree with you and it's honestly amazing how a lot of people don't seem to realise this is aimed towards the younger generation. If this was a complex RTS, the player count would drop significantly.

@OrfeasDourvas Physical copies are cheap and their games are always on sale.

Ubisoft games haven't been good for a long time. The only one I'm interested in is the Splinter Cell Remake but if turns out to be good I'll end up buying instead of waiting for to drop on Ubisoft Plus.

People always jumping to conclusions. Redfall so far is the only Xbox first party game that's launching with 30fps only and Arkane have already stated a performance mode will be coming. I'm not defending Redfall but this game is being made by a different developer.

Starfield gameplay reveal showed the fps dropping a bit but then again we dont know if that was an older build of the game. I do reckon Starfield will have a performance mode.

@GuyinPA75 I've played plenty of FPS game on PC since the early 2000's and a lot of them were 60fps. I'm not trying to jump on a bandwagon but it's 2023, consoles should be playing games at 60fps.

Certain games like Gotham Knights and Plague Tale 30fps didn't bother me that much after getting used to it, though that's probably due to being a third person perspective.

First person shooters on the other hand, are jarring to play at 30fps and with this being a first party exclusive there's no point defending it. I'll still play it but this is disappointing.

@Rob3008 Grass is green which is the same colour Xbox use, so they wont go anywhere near it.

Really enjoying the game so far and no issues with controls for me. Only issue I really have is the FPS can drop sometimes but that can be fixed with an update.

The only thing I remember about this game was when Ubisoft decided to the drop Tom Clancy name from the title.

Square Enix games unfortunately never did anything for me except when they published Sleeping Dogs that game is great.

@BrilliantBill Fanboys on Twitter blamed GP for Aragami 2 developers closing. I'm sure they'll do the same with this game.

I'm sure people will blame Game Pass for this just like they did with Aragami 2.

This game was doomed the moment it was announced as a live service game.

@trev666 I've seen it myself it's hilarious. One guy on there trying to claim 100% of third party games that are released day one on Game Pass are mid.

Saints Row has gone down hill ever since the third game. Went from being a gang member taking over gangs and neighbourhoods to becoming US president fighting aliens in a simulation.

Volition had their chance with the reboot but unfortunately blew it due to having a daft story with cringe inducing characters. The game being released in a poor state didn't help either.

Haven't played Knockout City in a while but it's a lot of fun. I do hope a developer makes a spiritual successor to it.
