Dead Space remake and Arcade Paradise on Xbox Series X

My top 3 games of the first half are:

1) Resident Evil 4 remake - prefer it over the original

2) Dead Space remake - same as above

3) Hi-Fi Rush - nice surprise from Xbox

Honorable mentions:

Hogwarts Legacy - it was good but overrated in my opinion

Ghostwire Tokyo - yes I know it's technically a 2022 game but the Xbox port came out this year

The Lord of the Rings: Gollum - the best game of all time

Xbox should keep this IP on their systems instead of porting them to Switch or PlayStation, this could easily be a new franchise for them.

Me and my mates would play this a lot back in the day. I really miss the Xbox 360 era of gaming, so many nights just playing online games.

If I remember correctly, Doritos Crash Course 2 was delisted which is unfortunate.

@HonestHick You can get the new dashboard earlier by joining the update preview on the Xbox insider app. I've got the new dashboard and it's much better now.

I've never heard of GTA V before...must be super rare

I'm considering picking up Snake Pass for £2.43, looks fun and very unique.

@gollumb82 Agree with you but Rockstar wont ever apply a 60 fps patch for free. They know people will buy the ''remastered edition'' of Red Dead Redemption, considering GTA Definitive Edition sold over 10 million.

Paw Patrol The Movie: Adventure City Calls leaving Game Pass has let me with a ultimatum and after much thought, I will now cancel my subscription.

This is completely shocking considering this game is a masterpiece and will win GOTY. It's annoying how EA can keep pumping out Fifa every year but my man Gollum cant even get a sequel.

I'm considering quitting gaming and selling my entire collection/consoles in protest for this and will setup a GoFundMe for Daedalic Entertainment because Gollums story isn't finished.

@Phantom_Anima You need to do this at exactly 3:00 am and must be holding a copy of the original Assassins Creed IV Black Flag in order for it to work. Be careful, the powers of Ubisoft should be taken seriously or else you'll be stuck in purgatory like Beyond Good & Evil 2 and Prince of Persia Sands of Time Remake.

Series X - Currently playing F.E.A.R. which is so much fun. I'm considering picking up Dead Space remake next week.

@BooBreaker Call of Duty Warzone, Warframe, Brawlhalla and Fall Guys are all successful on console.

Thank f*ck this entire thing is over. I'm hoping the deal goes through so I can finally play all of the COD campaigns and Crash Bandicoot on Game Pass.

Loved this game as a kid but I remember the missions being very frustrating.

Nah Sony can have them because Square Enix games do nothing for me. Xbox has Japanese devloper Tango Gameworks that in my opinion all their games are good. I know I sound like an Xbox fanboy but I'm not trying to be, I personally dislike JRPGs so Final Fantasy will never appeal to me, even if Xbox made their own JRPG I'd play it for about 5 mintues before already getting sick of it.

100% spot on with this comment. Always find it hilarious when people say Microsoft ruined Rare even though Sea of Thieves is a 5 year old game still getting expansions and has been upgraded to Series X/S consoles. The people complaining on want Rare to make old IP games and not allow them to innovate.

Yh the Acid games are a weird turn based card games that play nothing like the others. I played Twin Snakes on the Dolphin emulator (since the physical copy is very expensive) and really enjoyed it.

A lot of the fans slag it off for being over the top and Hollywood like, which I find ironic since the entire series is over the top. They fail to realise the game is a remake so of course it's gonna have differences from the original.

Metal Gear Solid 4 on current gen would be amazing. Played the game a few months back, I still enjoy it but man I completely forgot the frame rate tanks whens there's a lot of action going on. I reckon PS5/XBSX should be able to play it at a locked frame rate.

@Link41x Xbox 360 was ahead of the PS3 most of that console generation. PS3 only topped when Microsoft stopped producing the Xbox 360.

The price increase was bound to happen eventually even though I expected it to be in 2024 after the Starfield release.

@Zoidpilot4 I never thought I'd see the day when MGS1 gets ported to Xbox. Luckily for me though my favourite game of the series MGS2 is already backwards compatible.
