This is a little bit of a random one, but we thought it was interesting anyway!
Over the weekend a game called Primal Omen was getting a lot of attention on social media, described as a "modern survival horror game with Dinosaurs made by industry veterans". As you can see in the tweet below, the inspirations are Dino Crisis, Resident Evil, and Jurassic Park. Not a bad list!
The game is at least somewhat in a playable state right now, but it also needs a publisher. This has led to quite a lot of people tagging members of Team Xbox when quoting the tweet, although we've seen no response from any Xbox employees as of yet (we're not really expecting to either!).
Looking at the footage, you can see why there's a lot of interest in this game, but it also seems like it (understandably) needs some polishing work as well. The potential is there, and it'll be interesting to see if it can live up to the hype.
Whatever happens, we hope the team is able to secure a publisher in the near future and fully realise the vision for Primal Omen - and you never know, we might be absolutely loving it on Xbox in a few years' time!
What do you think of this footage? Tell us down in the comments section below.

i like what i see.
It looks janky AF. Pure B movie pulp. I love it.
Looks like a £1.40 game you get on a Steam sale
that trex busting in like the Kool Aid man and the wall just shatters into perfectly rectangular chunks lmao
Say what you will, they've at least had a go at making something.
I played it at PAX and it felt like a very very early build. I really like what they were going for but the problems go deeper than graphics. The main character walks past gruesomely devoured employees with no reaction, impact lag is shown throughout the whole demo, and as far as I can tell the main character can’t die. Like no joke I got tackled by a dinosaur and it just chewed on me with its mouth clipping through the main characters body until I spammed enough buttons to be let go. It could be good but as of now requires a lot of tweaking to be good. The devs were really nice though and seemed like passionate people.
@Deemo37 they probably forgot to turn off god mode. Or maybe they left it on so you can explore without dying. Maybe.
