I see the trolls are out in full force, today.

I assume the pandemic is the primary driver behind a general lack of special edition consoles for purchase.

On the one hand, Pure Xbox is milking these articles. On the other hand, seeing Jim Ryan cry incessantly is hysterical.

I read these stories and laugh so hard because I imagine Jim Ryan sobbing uncontrollably.

Xbox presentation eases the sting, but a Nintendo Direct would make this a lot more bearable.

Sony dominated multiple markets because of their actions. Aside from the Wii/360 generation where those consoles with DS had large market shares and Gen 9, where Nintendo is crushing it with the Switch, of course. I'm glad people are finally starting to take notice because most of the gaming press seems indifferent and always have. As if it was just the natural order.

That's utterly absurd for a full priced game, but given the publisher it's not shocking.

I don't see how they took anything away when literally no platforms were talked about at Starfield's announcement and they announced Redfall AFTER the acquisition. Officially, neither were coming to PS and both are new IP. Even without the latter point, it never seemed like they took anything away from PS.

I got it for free and like what I've played but Idk if I'd have bought it.

I had minor tracking issues, but they were just lag. I don't complain much since it's free money for searching and playing video games...

MS already offered to put COD on PS+, so oh well. It would be a little hilarious if the deal goes through and Sony, instead of Nintendo, is left out of COD. Not happening, but I'd chortle endlessly.

This is why I skip a few entries in series that see frequent releases, I won't tire from the series as easily as those who play all of them. This article reeks of someone who gets them all day one and burnt themselves out on it.

I doubt it. They've been in the console business for over 20 years. No point in selling it. Though ending it altogether is not out of the question.

If they make more games like Hi-Fi Rush, color me interested.

I think most people predicted this would happen, but Kojima was oddly specific in MGS 2 for situations like this. Has CIA written all over it.

Don't have Game Pass, but I voted Hi-Fi Rush. Bought and loving it, so far.

It's a fun action game, I enjoyed the original but the remake doesn't seem that interesting to me.

Seemed alright to me and I've been playing on Xbox Series X.

That's a "no" from me. Still, the game looks great.

Nintendo does this for its Indie World and sometimes Directs, but I still don't expect it from them. Same applies to Xbox, Idk why everyone has to get carried away about this stuff.

What's hilarious about Fox is this is pretty normal for them. They live just to be upset about something.

Well yeah, that seems to be the case. People just look for reasons to be upset, it seems.

@Widey85 Perhaps Xbox being my secondary console colors my expectations and feelings, but I'm pretty much set with the console. I completely understand anyone not liking what they're seeing on the exclusive front if Xbox is your go-to. Plus, we don't know how we'll feel after the presentation. What they show could blow us away.

I was already expecting what they told us, to see more of games they already announced. No need to think anything else.

Well, obviously Microsoft isn't going to kill their biggest franchise but this is clearly meant as a shot at anyone saying 343i isn't making good Halo games.

Ready for Starfield, myself. Hoping Suicide Squad turns out well, but I can see that one being a train wreck. Redfall is one that may surprise me, so I feel okay about that one.

Also, Street Fighter is one I've been conditioned to like but wait for other editions before buying.

I like Halo Infinite MP well enough, but it's fair to say the game could have had a smoother launch. Hell, post launch hasn't been great for a lot of people.
