I wonder if this will cost more for people who buy it at $29.99 now or if it will cost $59.99, at all...

I actually like the look of this game. I may get it at launch.

Looks great but it will take some time before I'm used to that UI.

I'll get these if they don't come to Switch. Never played Persona and people seem to love them.

Really hope it's a new, single player, platformer. Wild that I need to be that specific with my hopes, but it is what it is.

@NeutronBomb yeah, I only got GTA V for XSX because of MS rewards, it's on sale and I haven't bought any previous versions. Otherwise, I'd have stayed away.

Strongly considering RDR2 but with rumors of a proper XSX version, I'm not so sure. Then again, is GTA V really that much better looking than the Gen 8 version? From what I gather, not really.

@Kopite I did not know that, I thought it was PC-only. It is a little surprising they were there first.

@NEStalgia Ubisoft said something along the lines of "launch games will cost $60" to imply that could change. Don't be surprised when more publishers follow suit and games cost $70.

And I would be very surprised if EA wasn't among the first. Then again, they do love their microtransactions, so they might not feel like they have to...

Honestly, I expect third-party games to cost $70 for current gen games. Once Sony set the precedent, I knew others would follow. This may change for Activision since they're going to be MS, but others will charge more whenever possible.

Barely played this on X1, but I'm liking it so far on XSX. It's hard to deny that Ancient Egypt is a cool setting, in the first place.

Also, I've tested it out. It's been so long since I played on X1, I forgot how it compares but it's nice on Series X. It feels slightly surreal to say that when the console is still fairly hard to find.

Avowed is one I'm looking very forward to because ES6 is a ways off.

It's fun to see all of the competitors with each other's consoles and hanging out. At the end of the day, they like video games as much as most people who are into it.

On the topic of the article. While I wouldn't mind if MS and third-parties stopped making X1 games, it doesn't matter much to me but I guess I'd rather they drop it.

@Rural-Bandit I feel like Series X is good for my purposes. I had no issues with X1 since I didn't have a PS4 to compare it to on third-party games. I don't own a PS5, so that is not an issue for me.

If that happens, I'll do what I did last gen. Stick with my current console. As others have said, though, I doubt this is accurate.

Gears 3 and Star Wars are a tie for me, but I voted Star Wars. I really wish MS would go all out with hardware bundles on the XSX once they can normalize production.

I rely on Xbox mainly for third-party games. For that, Series X has served me well.

Let's not kid ourselves, they knew this wouldn't go over well. I don't really mind because I have a lot of Xbox games to buy and play, but not everyone games like I do.

Undeniably bad news, but I can live with it because I still have Xbox games that I want to buy in the meantime.

That reminds me, I need to finish Nights into Dreams.

I'm happy with the Nintendo one but this is pretty nice, too.
