Back in April, Ubisoft revealed that it was planning on bringing more of its back catalogue to Xbox Game Pass. The biggest game announced was Assassin's Creed Origins and well, we have a date for its Game Pass arrival folks!
Mark it on your calendars, June 7th! Assassin's Creed Origins comes to the service in just a few short weeks, and is sure to be one of June's most notable Game Pass additions.
For Honor: Marching Fire Edition is the other Ubisoft title heading to the service soon, and as you can see, that one is set for June 1st! The base game is already a part of the Game Pass lineup, but Ubisoft will be adding a ton more content to bring the game pass version up to date.
For now, this is all we know about the future of Ubisoft on Xbox Game Pass. The company recently announced that its own service will be colliding with PlayStation Plus next month, so we'll have to wait and see how it handles Xbox Game Pass in future.
Which of these Ubisoft games will you be booting up on Game Pass? Let us know in the comments below.

Hopefully the 60fps patch drops around then too. I have the complete edition ready to go the moment it does!
For honor MFE is not technically gamepass looking at picture, it's Gold (included with ultimate of course). But Origins , awesome get for gamepass. PS Plus 'Premium Extra whatever' (awfull naming of tiers btw) is getting Valhalla, so who's getting Odyssey?
Great news. Looking forward to giving Origins a go. Gives me a good few days to get stuck in before the Xbox showcase on that weekend as well.
@Kooky_Daisuke For Honor has a single player campaign mode. It's pretty short at 8 to 10 hours but it's in there.
@Kooky_Daisuke maybe for some games, but there is and has been overlap between games on both services. Fallout 4, arkham knight, resident evil 7, mortal kombat 11 and a few more have been on either plus or now and gamepass at the same time. So one doesn't exclude the other
Picked up the complete edition recently for 15.99 - thought it was worth it anyway for the DLC even though the base game coming to gamepass (and i used points so no real cost anyway). Looking forward to getting stuck in as played and enjoyed odyssey and i read this is better.
@TheSilverFalcon oh man, the naming of the tiers is awful. Just name then like the trophy system, silver, gold, platinum,. I mean its right there for Sony to use lol
Looking forward to Origins, Hopefully it gets the 60 FPS patch..
@Kooky_Daisuke What’s wrong with old games?
Setting wise, it’s my avortie AC of the last trilogy. NG+ at 60fps? I’m in.
@BlackMayge absolutely nothing fella, I just think some people think they are getting short-changed if they ain't getting anything but new releases
@Chaotic_Goat indeed Assassin's Creed Origins is a fantastic game, my second play through will start the day they add 60FPS
@Bmartin001 fingers crossed fella
@TuckNorris85 Yeah those tier names are terrible but it's safe to say that PS Gold was never really an option lol.
@Kooky_Daisuke I have a PS5 and Series X and I also want to play new games, experiences, and current gen only games too, but unfortunately that isn’t the reality. In terms of new games and experiences, I want last generation to die in the sense of releasing games on PS4 and PS5, but I don’t want old games to go away; there are some absolute bangers that are worth revisiting, and I think AC: Origins is one of them.
Wonder how that patch is coming along.
@IronMan30 It's been found in the PlayStation database so assuming Xbox gets it at the same time it should be very soon.

Only going to be playing Origins for the tourist mode. Stoked!
@Kooky_Daisuke I think it's unlikely that the "no game pass" rule applies to the Ubisoft integration with Plus. Since it's not a contract for a game but a contract for a (partial version of) Ubisoft+'s own subscription service included in the price. Like with EA Play on GPU, the contract isn't to bring Valhalla to PS Plus Extra, the contract is presumably for PS+ Premium customers to get access to part of Ubisoft's subscription service included. Probably exempting any mandates on individual games which would have been the case if the games were provided to Sony's service directly. The down-side for Sony customers though is that means +Extra will probably never contain many Ubisoft games, +Premium will be required to get access to that Ubi+ sub.
I assume that at some point in the future (maybe after a timed duration with Sony) some form of Ubi+ will be included with GPU as well. However, like with Sony's version I assume it will be a limited version containing mostly the older parts of the catalog, and not a full Ubi+ sub that includes the newer games other than selections, so it's kind of a wash. As long as Ubi continues running deep, deep sales, buying their games still makes a lot more sense than subscribing for them. Though adding them to GP and +Premium means streaming them which is nice.
If for some reason there is such a clause (I can't imagine Ubisoft wouldn't leverage their size to avoid that, and, again, since it's their subscription service, not their games going to Sony, and only to Sony's top tier, I doubt there is) but they would probably counter that by just running more/deeper sales on XB, increasing their presence and value on the platform without being able to cross into GP.
For Honor's campaign is actually pretty good. It's INCREDIBLY short, which is a shame, but it's actually a good campaign, what's there, and it's also a coop campaign which is cool.
are Ubisoft+ classics not coming to gamepass then?
@TuckNorris85
Sony wont call psn plus gold because its a direct copy of xbox live gold.
Would have better than what they stuck with though...
Still, considering the rediculous xbox naming conventiions, I guess we cant be too smug.
@Kooky_Daisuke I agree completely. I also play everywhere and look for primarilly new experiences. Like you I have zero desire to revisit games I completed years ago and I actually thought Origins was the worst of the more recent AC games, despite the fantastic enviroment.
But there are others who dont want the same. MS have gone out of there way to push their machines to people who want to access previous generations of titles, it would be wrong to push that and then move away from it, regardless of my desire to focus on the new. MS have decided its cross gen all the way, and its a stratagey thats growing their user base, so its a commercial good decision.
Its a fact though that machines which get more shiney new titles excite me more, so my xbox not quite getting the love right now, but ill be all over it again once we get more new releases, and even I want an older title occasionally 😁
I loved Origins. Great addition to GP.
Played [and own Origins on the PS4, I loved how they rebooted the Assassins Creed series with this game. Not sure if I will download it again and play it but it's a nice addition to GP.
