We've known for a good while that developer Respawn is creating a sequel to 2019's Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. Until this point though, we've not really had any inclination as to what it might be called.
Everyone's favourite leaker Jeff Grubb has supposedly revealed the sequel's name, almost by accident. Towards the end of a recent episode of his podcast, Grubbsnax, the host teased talking about the game, when a viewer actually guessed its name correctly, calling it 'Star Wars Jedi: Survivor'. Here's the timestamp of that exact moment:
Again, as usual with Grubb and his podcast scoops, take this one with a good pinch of salt. We have to say though, the name does have a nice ring to it, and it a seems plausible one.
Thankfully, we shouldn't have to engage in guesswork too much longer. Fallen Order's sequel will reportedly be revealed at this year's Star Wars Celebration event, which takes place May 26th.

Lets hope they change the hero, cant stand the one from fallen order 😖
The first game was a Star Wars take on Metroid. If they've somehow made a Star Wars take on Breath of the Wild, well that would be awesome!
@Fulkaffe I liked him! And the robot too. I loved the whole game, can't wait for the sequel. Here's hoping it releases this year to take some of the sting away from the Starfield delay
I just can't wait to see it. I loved Jedi: Fallen Order. It was such a good game.
Fast travel, please. Would be much appreciated.
Need to try that game again...I just reeeeally hated that first level after the prologue. It reminded me of Super Mario 64 (in a bad way) in terms if the environment feeling less like a real place and more like an obstacle course.
Is the first one really good? I keep hearing that this game and Guardians of The Galaxy are very good. Like the word of mouth make it sound like they're better than they were praised critically.
I just hate EA, although I bought the ME collection, will get DS remake if they don't screw it up. It takes two happens only if I find a partner to play with.
Let's just hope they remove a lot of the tedious backtracking from the first game.
@RevGaming I preferred it to Guardians of the Galaxy. I liked that as well but it almost felt more like an interactive movie, whereas Fallen Order properly puts you in the shoes of an adventuring Jedi. The Metroid comparison above is spot on. And yes it is published by EA but developed by Respawn, who are excellent devs who don't deserve to be painted with the same brush. Plus the success of Fallen Order helped to show EA that not all games have to be live service multiplayer abominations to be popular!
@Spaceman-Spiff
Facts. Respawn carries EA.
