Re: Skyrim's Massive 'Skyblivion' Mod Looks Incredible, But It's Apparently Too Big For Xbox

@Ryu_Niiyama We do those for the new releases every Saturday - here's the one for next week:

https://www.purexbox.com/features/these-10plus-games-are-coming-to-xbox-next-week-august-19-23

And then we also do a monthly (and yearly) roundup:

https://www.purexbox.com/features/all-new-xbox-games-coming-out-in-august-2024

https://www.purexbox.com/guides/new-xbox-games-release-dates-in-2024

But I think maybe there's room for some kind of roundup that incorporates the game announcements we didn't get to mention during the week - such as Broken Sword in this case.

As I say, the feedback will definitely be taken into account!

@Pabpictu We have to pick and choose the news we post based on the engagement it will attract. Sadly, as much as we'd love to cover every individual release that gets announced for Xbox, history tells us that Pure Xbox readers don't really respond to that.

That's not to say we don't cover a lot of upcoming Xbox releases though - this week alone we've mentioned a couple of Halloween games, Stalker 2, Splitgate 2, Chernobylite 2, Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown, The Mortuary Assistant, Replaced, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, The Outer Worlds 2, Arena Breakout: Infinite, Copa City, Two Point Museum, Barkour, Dragon Age: The Veilguard, The Plucky Squire, Ambulance Life: A Paramedic Simulator and Black Myth: Wukong.

We DO try and take a varied approach to our coverage however, and we're also a small team in general, so that means some games and potential news stories unfortunately slip through the net.

I'd say if we're coming across as "biased" with certain titles or types of coverage, it's just because history tells us Pure Xbox members want to read about it. In this case, Fallout: London was a very popular topic on PX, so we're assuming there's interest in Skyblivion as well.

@Isca I still see very occasional reports where players find all their data has deleted, but it's nothing like as common as it used to be.

You can also turn on the cross-save feature so your saves get backed up just in case - you can literally download them to your PC if you want to, but obviously you'd require a PC version of BG3 to access them in an emergency.

I've been meaning to make a guide on how to use cross-saves most effectively between Xbox and PC so that if the worst DID happen, you'd most likely still be able to recover your game. Will get to it at some point!

Re: 7 Days To Die '1.0' Launches To Five-Star Xbox Reviews, Despite Series S Grumbles

@avoidercat I understand where you're coming from - all I can say is that from my perspective, the number one intent is to provide the most engaging content possible to our readers.

To be fully transparent about 7 Days To Die, we noticed a massive amount of interest (far beyond the PX comments section) to the announcement of an Xbox Series X|S version back in April.

We've covered it three times since then (all this month) and received a high level of engagement on each story - the kind of engagement that many new releases don't get on Pure Xbox.

However, the idea wasn't to copy and paste anything - July's first story was about a target date, yesterday's story was an FAQ about the launch (which had now been confirmed), and today's article was to provide some first impressions.

@avoidercat You can believe what you want to believe, but as I said before, I haven't had any contact with the PR for this game and don't even know who's handling it.

You might see something as an "empty" story, but we see how many views it gets - and therefore how much interest there is.

No PR company / publisher / developer has paid us to produce content on Pure Xbox.

Re: Asus ROG Ally X Reviews Suggest It's The Best Xbox Handheld Yet

@Divide_and_Wander You can't access the console versions of games sadly (unless you stream them via Xbox Cloud Gaming or Xbox Remote Play).

However, you can access every PC Game Pass title natively, and if you own any console games that support Xbox Play Anywhere, you can download the PC version at no extra charge.
