This month I've finished quite a few games, including Lost in Random, The Pedestrian and also got all the achievements in Townscraper.
I tried playing Far Cry 5 but I think I played it as a run and gun game rather than stealth. The game itself is confusing. Is it run and gun or is it a stealth game? I've paused my playthrough and uninstalled. Will go back to it at some point later in the future.
I'm going back to playing Mighty Goose, I'm stuck on the final boss so hoping to beat that. Also going back to Trek To Yomi. Going to try and beat it this time. Once both games are done I'm going to start my playthrough of Dead Cells.
Terrible additions especially considering PS+ is adding Stray, FF7 Remake, Intergrade, 7 Assassin's Creed Games plus Saints 4 and its DLC. There's other games, it's a total of 17 most of them being high quality. Game Pass has been terrible this year.
I bought the original Xbox in 2003, after that in 2007 I got the Xbox 360. However unfortunately for me in 2010 I got the red ring of death. After that I got Playstation 3 and eventually the PS4 in 2016. I didn't really enjoy the games on PS4, it has nothing to do with the console I just think between 2016-2019 there really wasn't much in terms of great games. Of course we had exceptions like RDR 2, Titanfall 2, God of War, Spiderman and Uncharted but apart from these handfuls there wasn't much. I also had a few problems with games. I'd buy games only for them to be mediocre, eventually I stopped playing games and gave the console away to my sister in 2019.
I then heard about the new consoles, did some research and found out about the games on Gamepass. XGP was the biggest deciding factor for me to go back to xbox. I got the Series X in December 2020.
The first year on the console was phenomal I discovered so many great games on the service. Played new games like Hades, Halo Infinite, Psychonauts 2, Forza Horizon 5, Flight Simulator and many many more. It was truly awesome and I thought great decision buying this console.
In 2022 however, the additions to game pass have been poor. I didn't like Far Cry 5, hated Hitman, Indie titles like Nobody Saves the World sucked and of course the delays to Starfield and Redfall have been terrible news.
I think 2022 in general has been poor for gaming. Its only in October when the heavy Hitters will be released.
Overall I have now played 81 games on GamePass. I rate every game I play and so far the service has been averaging about 5.5/10 which is pretty poor. But here's the thing I don't think that's because the service is bad, I just I'm very picky when it comes to games. I have a very particular taste. Sometimes I find awesome games on the service and sometimes they are truly terrible. But I love games it's so convenient, affordable and accessible. It is easily the greatest gaming service on the planet right now. Series X is the best Xbox ever made. I'm glad I went with it.
I tried Far Cry 5 and really hated it. That's now uninstalled, overwhelming, repetitive mission design, poor open world design, hate that you have to grind to make money. It's just overall bad game. Moving on to something else now
There's hardly any games that are actually worth the full £70. This game is definitely not worth that. This price point was literally the biggest reason I chose xbox and game pass over Playstation back in 2020.
@Geezer absolutely, Not only Sony 1st Party but Sony 3rd Party Exclusives lineup is also so strong. Next year they've now got Forspoken (January), FF16 (Summer), FF7 Rebirth (Late 2023) and somewhere in between they've got Granblue and 1st Party exclusive Spiderman 2. Absolutely insane investments by Sony.
Off topic - I dont know if this has already been covered by the site but just got an email from xbox saying that Xbox 360 titles will no longer be included with games with gold from october 1st because they have reached their limit of ability and will therefore include xbox one titles
@OrfeasDourvas so keep repeating Games we've already had? So more people can play them? That's less games for people that have already played them.
At this rate why not add the games that left in 2020 back on to the service again. It'll just mean less 'newer' games. Less for people that have been on service for a longer time.
Why add the Yakuza games to service again? They were there for a year. Those slots should be used for games that have never been on the service before.
Unfortunately yesterday didn't get much of a chance to play due to the servers being down. Got only about 40 mins of playtime and 20 of that was trying to find a match.
Hoping after work today I will be able to play it for a good few hours.
@Would_you_kindly God of War Ragnarok and Hogwarts Legacy have no release dates just a window, Dead Space comes out in January 2023. Horizon Forbidden West and GoW means nothing If you only have an Xbox. Callisto Protocol is a game that releases at the end of this year.
So yeah what's your point? Apart from Elden Ring and Callisto Protocol, there isn't a single game you've listed that's released or has a release date. If you have Xbox only then this has been a poor year for gaming as all major first party Exclusives have been delayed and the same goes for major multi platforms such as Suicide Squad Kill the Justice League and not mention game pass titles such as Starfield, Redfall, Replaced, Contraband and many more

Re: Rumour: Assassin's Creed Is Going To The Aztecs With Next Title
No more risk taking by gaming companies. Just same old copy paste with a new map.

Re: Ubisoft's Skull & Bones Officially Sets Sail On Xbox This November
@Kaloudz there's no Combat on land. Its basically MMO. Heavily inspired by Sea of Thieves.

I was surprised that it requires 51gb.
Re: The Crew 2 Arrives On Xbox Series X, Free To Play From July 7-13

Great positive news
Re: These 12 Games Are Coming To Xbox Game Pass (July 5-14)
@OrfeasDourvas I don't know, if it becomes a repeat pattern then it could be a problem. Eventually It'll mean less 'newer' titles.
Re: These 12 Games Are Coming To Xbox Game Pass (July 5-14)
@mousieone I think they've done it before a few times. Like My Friend Pedro but yes you're right it's not common

Good, honestly we have enough Remasters. Focus on new games.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (July 2-3)
I'm still playing Lost in Random, nearing the ending now.
Playing Fall Guys on the occasional fly.
After Lost in Random will be starting Mirror's Edge and Far Cry 5. I've never played a FC game either.
Re: Halo Infinite 'Mission Replay' Feature To Release Alongside Co-Op Update
Don't know how much truth there is to this but apparently the first DLC Story Expansion to the Campaign will be releasing post 2024.

Completed the event earlier today

@UltimateOtaku91 seriously? That's such a let down

Re: Five Years Later, Game Pass Is Still Growing Alongside Xbox Game Studios
I bought my Xbox Series X in December 2020. Since purchasing the console I have played 100 games on it. About 83 of them have been on Game Pass.
Absolutely the greatest gaming service on the planet right now.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (June 25-26)
Playing Fall Guys and Lost in Random
Re: 343 To Share More About Halo Infinite Campaign Network Co-Op Flight 'Very Soon'
Game came out almost 8 months ago. I don't think anyone cares at all. Most people are not even playing the multiplayer due to lack of updates.
Re: A Plague Tale: Requiem Releases Day One With Xbox Game Pass This October
