It seems the decision to shift Fall Guys to a free-to-play model has already paid off for Mediatonic - with the game recording 20 million players in the first 48 hours.

This includes the launch of the game on various other platforms this week (including Xbox and Nintendo Switch) which no doubt bolstered existing numbers.

Some of these new players even include the Xbox boss, Phil Spencer. In case you missed it, Xbox's Jeff Rubenstein recently posted a clip of himself and Phil taking the crown. You can read more about it in our previous post.
