It isn't a big problem which such a big Game Pass/ PS Plus backlog, but there's nothing here for me this time. Hope there'll be some neat indies.

Will just turn on my Xbox and improvise which Game Pass game I'll play.
It won't be Flintlock anymore. Fired it up for the third session yesterday and it just doesn't grab me. Very sub-par world and story building.

That trailer looks like it has three visual styles...

First, it's just Stray with a dog. Then it's super cartoony. Then it's semi-realistic.

This thing is all over the place.

Finally. But friends and I just deleted it to make space for games we'd rather play now.

Had some decent evenings with it - all with too many connection issues and frustrations - and it's just a little too late now.

Lowering the important of weight carriage can save this game for me. And the better navigation is a great bonus.

Let’s give it a new try.

@RentedPanda Exactly the same here! I got stuck for a moment and never returned to Supraland, even though I really liked the gameplay fluidity.

Also: Norco was one of the best Game Pass surprises I had. Great game!

@BrilliantBill Practically no cutscenes and no big open world - I can’t see why it’s so much bigger than Forza Horizon 5’s base game.

A smooth launch? Hahahaha.

@Trotterwatch I once was first in a race on moderate difficulty, I completely slipped in one of the last corners and I still came in first. It’s incredible.

I’m starting to think Turn 10 can’t do proper car AI…

First improvement please: AI cars that don’t immediately give up when you overtake them.

Just like in Horizon 4 and 5, AI cars are immediately 5 seconds behind you after you take them over. It ruins all the fun in the last part of a race for me. Won’t continue the game until it’s solved probably.

Checking out the new Forza but I’m so disappointed. Game crashed twice on my Series X already in three hours, and the AI cars still have that insanely stupid thing that they don’t do anything anymore one you’ve overtaken them.

And then there’s the bizarre online penalties for getting crashed into you.

What a mess.

That’s all fun and games, but did anyone of you manage to play with a friend? Inviting in the game or the friends list doesn’t work for me at all.

Looking forward to this, despite the mediocre Somerville. Bring it on!

Finished Gris this weekend. Paused and stopped a few months ago, but it was worth it to finish it. Beautiful, heartfelt game.

Chants of Sennaar! Nice! Hope to see that on Game Pass one day. Won’t buy it now, though, with so many other releases…

Didn’t expect those sites to score it lower, but did expect an 84-88 overall Metacritic score, so it’s all pretty according to expectations.

Don’t think the game will be for me though.

@Balta666 It's a bit like Final Fantasy XVI all over again. A bit cumbersome without help, but too easy with these relics (or rings in FFXVI).

It would be nice to see a relic that resets the HP after each battle, but doesn't boost your HP with 100%.

Booted it up yesterday and I'm hooked. Three hours have just flown by. Love the compact combat, the soundtrack and the visuals.

Going to play it coop in the office tomorrow, but already did some single shooting now… and…

• The Super Shotgun is still one of the best FPS weapons of all time!
• There’s such a good sense of exploration in the levels too!
• It has so many little jump scares it would now be considered a horror game!

Track count may be limited, but at least there will be 500 cars at launch.

@Cashews You summed everything right up. The entire dashboard is a Game Pass ad.

I want to like a new Test Drive Unlimited, but the gameplay has put me off. The framerate is janky and the visuals and world look barebones. That could perhaps still be improved upon since it's in alpha phase now.

But the handling... oof, the handling also looks so stiff.

Just fired this up this week on PlayStation Plus Extra. I'm all for relaxed games, and this is it, with lots of ambiance.

If you're looking for an action adventure, however, no, it's not that.

Seems quite alright. If only it didn't have the competition of Final Fantasy XVI on my PS5... oops.

Bookwalker looks interesting, except for the turn-based combat. May give it a try though, when I'm onto play a little less Diablo IV and Final Fantasy XVI...

You know, the 30 vs 60fps thing doesn't bother me.

What does bother me, is that in the Starfield Direct presentation, all shooting that was outside of narrow corridors, visibly dropped WAY below 30fps, more like 17 to 24 fps.

It's so weird so little people noticed it.

@Ryu_Niiyama I forgot about that! The game after Sands of Time has this terrible, terrible gothic metal vibe - everyone seemed to put off by it. And enjoyed the game after…

Was my favourite trailer of the entire show. The Prince - although not him - looks Persian now, there’s an updated Sands of Time colour scheme and the gameplay just looks really, really fluent. Love it!

Nice! I actually like this dungeon- and story-focused approach more than the sandbox style gameplay of Tears of the Kingdom. As good as it is, I prefer focused experiences.

Klonoa already on a budget. Nice, but I'm still not biting for $20. Other games have been even cheaper in other recent sales.

Also saving up money to jump aboard the PS Extra sale later this week - when it will be 25% off, and will cost less than Game Pass...

Not quite sure what an ‘extraction’ shooter is, but it looks very ‘Let’s do these colors so people won’t mistake it for Destiny’.

Apart from some guards on the rooftops in the beginning of the trailer - which totally undermine the believability of the game world - it does look amazing!

The Car Pass doesn’t do it for me as well, but along with the total upgrade that also boasts the Hot Wheels and Rally Adventure expansions - well, that’s quite a good deal.

And rightly so, the new Trackmania is a treat. I do like Ranked online a lot more than the chaotic, Fall Guys-like, Royal tracks though.

Only $10 a year for huge access to a ton of tracks and extra online races. Best f2p deal right now?

I’ve played games on Game Pass I never thought I will because they surprised me. Norco for instance. Wouldn’t have bought it, but it clicked instantly.

Then there’s games I try, and definitely see what’s good about them, but stop playing because it isn’t my cup of tea - like Genesis Noir.

Somerville, however, was just too much of the same. I already played Inside and had zero feeling that the new game would do something different. This one is on you, developer…

After finishing the story, I may do remaining sidequests in Jedi Survivor, and someone convinced me to give Ravenlok another try, so I may do that as well. Finally, let’s fire up The Last of Benedict Fox once more to see if I can move on in the story somewhere. It seems like you’re (well at least, I’m) stuck in that game all the time.
