Turn 10 Studios has today unveiled Forza Motorsport Update 11 - headlined by the addition of multi-class racing and the return of Road Atlanta; a track that's featured heavily in prior Forza instalments.
Multi-class racing has been a desired addition by the community for some time, with Turn 10 finally delivering in Update 11. It effectively introduces a series of races that feature multiple car classes, from slower vehicles to some of the faster car classes in the game.
"More action, greater skill, and new challenges await in Featured Multiplayer as Multi-Class Racing comes to Forza Motorsport with the return of the Endurance Series! Test your speed while reacting to changing circumstances, battle for position while encountering slower cars, and see how much time you can gain against faster classes.
Thanks to popular player demand, both the Endurance Series and Multi-Class Racing will remain in Forza Motorsport after Road to Race Month. Additionally, thanks to player feedback, we've increased the number of Open Classes w/ Multi-Class and one additional Open Class Series. Overall, Featured MP is focused on increasing variety through Featured, Spec, and Open Events."
Meanwhile, the return of Road Atlanta marks one of our very favourite real-life courses coming back to the game. This new FM edition includes both the 'Full Circuit' and the 'Club Circuit', bringing in a bit more racing variety with Forza's newest track addition.
Forza Motorsport Update 11 begins rolling out today, August 12, on Xbox Series X|S and PC - while the update's Spotlight cars and new in-game events kick off on Wednesday, August 14 at 5pm PT / 8pm ET.

In tomorrow news Xbox will sell forza to Ubisoft for free
Road Atlanta is my favourite track to race in Gran Turismo 7. Races are nearly always full of side by side racing action.
It's going to be interesting to see how the Motorsport version compares. I don't see myself trying any side by side in Forza simply because 9 times out of 10 that that just an invite to be eased off the course or down right crashed off.
Still I will give it a good go and see how I get on.
No fixes to crashing at the end of races or fixes for completely broken auto gearboxes in R/P classes? Since release.
@RexPowercolt I bought Forza Horizon 4 while it was cheap. Not really a car person. Just got it to mess about in. When viewing cars and picking to look inside the car interior it crashed my Series S every time. That was a few weeks ago. I uninstalled it because even though I don't need that feature for normal gameplay it annoyed me I couldn't use it.
I haven't played a mainline Forza game in ages. I really enjoyed 3 and 4 but fell off after that.
The Forza Horizon games I enjoyed aswell but same thing again, I fell off after 4.
These aren't new additions when they've already been in every other Forza Motorsport. Every time they make a new game they take most of the tracks away and give them back slowly one at a time and want you to think it's new content.
Turn10 has to be the worst developer Xbox has under their umbrella.
Finally. But friends and I just deleted it to make space for games we'd rather play now.
Had some decent evenings with it - all with too many connection issues and frustrations - and it's just a little too late now.
Really enjoying Forza Motorsport! Happy to see new content coming.
@RexPowercolt Who drives automatic anyway XD
Loving the multi class events. Really chill. I’m not the best track racer but I’m having a blast. Good for leveling cars and enjoying a cruise.
I really don’t understand the hate on the new FM but it’s my first one I started at release. It feels like a great track racer.
