Definitely need to gather some friends for Back 4 Blood. Will definitely try The Procession to Calvary as well - I love me some weird Game Pass surprises.
That is a good question - can it be played in coop? Otherwise, it's just another repetition of the same thing UbiSoft has done for years, in first person with Far Cry, and in third-person with Assassin's Creed. The copy-paste in this formula is pathetic.
Why don't reviews point out the TERRIBLE performance on Xbox One? It stutters, janks, glitches.
But mostly, the way your missions build up is a bit meh to me, right from the start. 'Gather your own spaceship parts!' 'You won't get a part before you do this mission!'
Wow, quite a few games I put a few hours in disappearing this month. Nights in the Woods, Ikenfell, Forza Motorsport 7, Drake Hollow and especially Hotshot Racing. Loved that last little arcade racing gem.
Expected scores likes these (okay, well, not 10/10's, but really high scores still) the first moment I saw footage of this. Everything about is just feels and looks clever and outstanding.
So when I'm tired of the same candy-colored art style already seen in that game with the hole and two pets attached (forgot both titles haha, blame Game Pass!), this has absolutely nothing going for it. :'-)
I know it can have a different effect on basically any headphone, but how does 'Superhearing' increase the localisation of sound effects like footsteps and gunshots? Does it create a bigger soundstage? Does it emphasize higher tones? Is the sound still doable when higher tones are emphasized - or does it easily oversteer like with many cheap headphones (including the ones of Turtle Beach itself), creating harsh, painfully bright sounds?
I think you haven't described the best feature of this controller: being able to change the volume of the game sound and chat sound independently from each other, straight from the controller.
The original. By a landslide. All those weekends of 8-player local LAN parties. Unforgettable. Also, the singleplayer campaign was the most intense as well.
Enjoyed completing the first two worlds of Omno. Didn't even get around to playing Last Stop beyond the first three chapters, but definitely want to. Same goes for The Ascent. And Raji.
Tunic. Played it just before this weekend, but it's too alpha to make a good first impression. Especially the lack of a gripping musical score and sound effects, left me unimpressed.
Atomic Heart looks great, Forza Horizon 5 looks awesome - and it seems that Game Pass will be filled with tons of fun coop games. I need to get more friends to get an Xbox.
Scrolled through my recent YouTube videos in channels, saw all those trailers ending with Game Pass mentions. Incredible - such value in that service. It makes up for missing out on variety in the games itself for me.
Loved this game. Beautiful storytelling - although you do get a lot more out of it when you show interest in characters in the village you're returning to.
I don't dislike the looks of this controller, but I feel this review is a little limited. How good is the D-pad for Tetris and fighters? And you may not be audiophiles, but it's worth checking the sense of space and detail around you in a multiplayer game of Warzone with the same headset normal controller vs this controller, right? Very curious what your findings are!

Re: PETA Is Campaigning To Have Far Cry 6’s Cockfighting Mini-Game Removed
Following PETA's logic, I should never enter a vehicle anymore after playing some Forza Horizon...

I'm not very hopeful at all... I mean very interested to see how this turns out!

Re: Video: Here’s 11 Minutes Of Battle Royale Gameplay In Forza Horizon 5
All this time, I haven't seen a concentrated racing track. Hope they didn't overlook those in their scope of bringing a wide world.
Honestly, I'm a bit scared FH5 will be a bit style over substance.
Re: Two More Of September 2021's Xbox Games With Gold Are Now Available
Wow, Bulbasaur really has grown in Mulaka, hasn't he?

Why is every Spencer fart an article on this site?
Re: Review: Psychonauts 2 - Bigger, Better And Crazier, Another GOTY Contender
WOW.
Bigger isn't always better, to say the least, but I'm really interested now...
Re: Hades Soars Over Flight Sim As Metacritic's Highest-Rated Xbox Game Of 2021
Read a lot of reviews that I would like this even although I don't like roguelikes.
It plays fantastic.
But I still don't like roguelikes.

I've jumped on this game a day after these problems, and wow, I'm enjoying it.

Re: Everything You Need To Know About Hades On Xbox Game Pass
After all those reviews stating this is the roguelike for people who hate roguelikes... IT HAD BETTER BE TRUE.
Re: These Games Are Coming To Xbox This Week (August 9-13)
Hades may not be my cup of tea, but with so much hype, I can't skip it right? Also want to play Art of Rally.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (August 7-8)
It's not Tetris Connected, but had a few nice sessions with Lumines again already.
Re: These 15 Games Are Coming To Xbox Game Pass (August 5-17)
And willing to try Curse of the Dead Gods too, looks pretty good actually. Nice month!
Re: Roundup: Here's What's Coming To Xbox In August 2021
@John117 Not true, as Recompile is Series only.
Re: Pick One: Which Of These Is Your Favourite Halo Game?
The original. By a landslide. All those weekends of 8-player local LAN parties. Unforgettable. Also, the singleplayer campaign was the most intense as well.
Re: Roundup: Here's What's Coming To Xbox In August 2021
Definitely have my interest. @PureXbox, in list like these, it's convenient to mention of a game is Xbox One compatible still.
Re: Annapurna Reveals Four More Games 'Coming Soon' To Xbox Game Pass
The Artful Escape looks great!
Re: Four More Games Are Available Today With Xbox Game Pass (July 29)
Enjoyed completing the first two worlds of Omno. Didn't even get around to playing Last Stop beyond the first three chapters, but definitely want to. Same goes for The Ascent. And Raji.
Great summer line-up!
Re: Raji: An Ancient Epic Is Getting A Lot Of Love On Xbox Game Pass
Great you're giving this some attention. Last Stop is also worth checking out - not much gameplay perhaps, but a gripping storyline!
Re: Two More Games Are Now Available With Xbox Game Pass (July 26)
Just going to say it: these games didn't age well. Oof.
Re: Cris Tales, A 'Love Letter To Classic JRPGs', Is Now Available With Xbox Game Pass
Looks great - like the stylish Cartoon Network-look on this one.
Re: These Ten Games Are Coming To Xbox Game Pass (July 22-29)
Nice list, will definitely try out
Would I have tried any of those games without Game Pass? Probably not!
Re: Review: Death’s Door - This Xbox Console Exclusive Is A 2021 GOTY Contender

Re: Omno Brings Its World Of Wonders To Xbox Game Pass This Month
Nice, will surely try this out.
Re: Pick One: Which Of These Six Upcoming Xbox Games Are You Most Excited For?
Looking forward to the Halo Infinite singleplayer/ online coop campaign. There will be one, right? Less so towards the online multiplayer part.
Forza Horizon 5 may be the game I'll play the longest... but let's not underestimate Back 4 Blood here with a couple of friends...
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (June 19th)
Tunic. Played it just before this weekend, but it's too alpha to make a good first impression. Especially the lack of a gripping musical score and sound effects, left me unimpressed.
Re: The Official Space Jam: A New Legacy Game Is A 2D Brawler, Heading To Xbox Game Pass This July
Strong Gameboy Advance-shovelware vibe here.
Re: The Forgotten City Is A Skyrim Mod Turned Full Game Coming To Xbox This July
This looks great.
Re: Back 4 Blood's DLC Can Be Shared Between Multiple Players, Even If Only One Person Owns It
That's quite nice, and may in fact be a good way to motivate players to download DLC themselves too.
Re: Xbox Summer Demo Fest Now Live, 40+ Games Available
Hmm, will try Tunic.
Re: Sci-Fi Adventure Somerville Is A Day One Game Pass Title Arriving In 2022

Re: Random: We'd Love To Get Our Hands On This Halo Xbox Series X
But what's Halo about it? Could have been a Destiny Xbox just as easily.
Re: Surprise! The Full Version Of Tell Me Why Is Now Free On Xbox For Pride Month
Loved this game. Beautiful storytelling - although you do get a lot more out of it when you show interest in characters in the village you're returning to.
Re: Oops, Two Point Campus Has Leaked Onto The Microsoft Store
Oh, that's a great theme for a game like this.
Re: Rumour: Sonic 2022 Will Be Called Sonic Rangers, An Open-World Adventure
Calling it already, after a ton of bad 3D Sonic games:
This will be absolute sh*t.

Re: Hands On: Knockout City - Has The Potential To Be The Next 'Big' Thing
I hate the design of this game, but it does work... and I liked the training modes as well. Perhaps I should just dive into an online game then...
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (May 22nd)
Will launch Psychonauts this weekend and start up The Wild At Heart too, because I like the style. Don't expect to be grabbed by the gameplay however.
Re: Netflix Is Reportedly Looking To Expand Into Video Games
This is a Go Big Or Go Home situation.
Wait... does this shed new light on the 'A UbiSoft original' approach?
