Forza Motorsport Update 1.1 Now Live, Here Are The Full Patch Notes

I love my racer games, and I was really looking forward to this game, but sadly it hasn't gripped me like I hoped it would. It just feels, lifeless. The Career is a bit of a chore in my opinion, and Multiplayer is lacking also.

(And another thing: how is this game 136 GB?!)

@BrilliantBill Practically no cutscenes and no big open world - I can’t see why it’s so much bigger than Forza Horizon 5’s base game.

@Maddie47 oh totally understand the frustration. There's so much broken in a game that's been in production for 6 years and they've simply not acknowledged the issues with the game.

This patch is the equivalent of fixing the hair density of spectator no.657 on the grandstand at the Nürburgring. Absolutely useless. 😅

What is up with studios lying to themselves and fans for? This update is pointless, there is loads of bugs in this game and this it just all they did, ouch!

@Lightweight Lying and ignoring fans is basically everything about the official response regarding this game. Good to see people being honest about it. I deleted this game after getting tired of the car leveling grind. I'll just go back to Forza 6 and 7 for my FM fix, this game needs a total rethink and rework.

I'm just waiting for them to include AI that wouldn't be ashamed to have been in an 8 bit game.

With this game and starfield why are Microsoft letting these exclusives be released with problems they have it's not just them every game virtually released now is having problems

Are others having this issue too? When I completed an event in the career and the game wants to load the next event, the game crashes and I'm back on the XBox dashboard.

I haven't had one issue with Motorsport or Starfield.

Forza Motorsport runs like a Swiss watch on my Xbox SX. No falling, no slashing. And it plays great 👌💚

I would rather play the Forza Motorsport on xbox 360… tuning system was half the fun previously and now it’s a chore. Multiplayer takes 20 min (3 qualifying laps??) just to a race in just a few lobbies to choose from.

Nope still crashing career not saving, turn 10 to busy playing with there balls then to fix this pos

@RetroMan71 That’s pretty much how I feel about it. Real shame, as this was right up there as a most anticipated game of 2023 for me.

@SoulChimera Yeah real shame. I mean... I can't quite put my finger on what more it would need, but it just feels lacking. I think personally, I would like to have seen some stats about my Career, like how many podiums I've secured, mileage etc. Make it feel like a Career.... 🤔 You know, give me some challenges to aim for throughout... 🤔

Are you guys really experiencing a ton of issues personally or are you reading Reddit and getting fired up? The only issue I've had so far 🤞is with Quick resume not quick resuming.

People have to understand that developers can't instantaneous fix bugs because the players found them. It takes time as there is a process. The game released on the 10th, right?

@theduckofdeath I've personally had the save game bug under variable network conditions, had the game crash to xbox dashboard. On PC I've had crashing to desktop and blurry graphics when using AMD FSR. I expect these issues were known to the developers on release, I suspect to release in this state was a business decision.

But other than that I've been enjoying the game, even though its far from perfect.
