Translation: XBOX as you know it is pretty much dead. Due to our own f***ups and ballooning costs, the brand is going to become platform agnostic and eventually transition to subscription only model. Any new machines we release (if), you might as well call them gamepass boxes. And no, obviously we’re not going to support any form of physical media. Lol. Please keep investing in our dead platform, while we pretend that this is not happening. Thank you for your continuous support suckers.

@16BitHero jump in, even for the full price. The DLC’s story plus side missions took me almost as long the CP’s main story to complete. It was well worth it. And if you’re a completionist, that’s a bargain

Yeah, whatever. Blizzard used to mean something. Now I treat them like a 3rd party company using Blizzard’s IPs, but with creative freedoms crippled by overseers from EA-like corporation.

I don’t even buy games at launch, never mind preordering. But I’m glad that there is a substantial group of people with a serious FOMO problem, who are willing to become beta testers and early reviewers and pay full price for it, so I don’t have to.

Lol. That is definitely the last Xbox console I’ll even own. Whether you play a lot or casually, it’s just not worth it. I’m starting to build SFF PC next month, to completely replace my XBSX, my docked Switch and hopefully in the future, PS5 as well.

Why though? If storage is what you need, just buy extra storage. Or better, for two of those you could buy pretty good small factor PC. All your games going to be there anyway.

The core game and story is just meh, and no amount of DLCs can fix that. This is nowhere near the Cyberpunk situation. I just hope that this will wake some of the executives, before ES6 release. Once they bastardise elder scrolls, this is the end for Bethesda.

Why though? What is the appeal? It better be WAAAY under $499.

Personally the biggest issue with the cloud gaming I have is the picture quality. I have very good internet connection, however the picture quality can still look god awful. I sometimes use it just to try a game before committing my valuable space to it.

Xbox and PC don’t need this port since MS and emulation community, without the access to a single asset or a line of code, did better job than Rockstar. My expectations were low, but holy ****!

@S-Bacc We’re taking increasing efficiency four times (from S’ 75-80W down to 15-20W). TBH I don’t think ZEN5, which is scheduled to be released next year, will be efficient enough pull this off.

I don’t know a single person who willingly pays for gold nowadays and MS’s been slowly and deliberately killing gold for years now. I think the only people who use gold were the ones who forgot to cancel their subscription. Now they’ll transition them to the lowest GP tier and claim influx of GP subscribers.

MS is actually in a very good position to do so. If they base their handheld on series S, all infrastructure is already in place. In fact I was convinced that series S wasn’t just to have a cheaper console, but to have whole lower spec/low power platform to go with. Not only they’d be able finally compete in Japan, but also compete with Steam (where they can undercut hardware cost by software sales, unlike purely hardware manufacturers). Not sure how feasible it is, considering tech and cost, but it’s helluva more doable than PS5 handheld for example, which won’t be possible until next decade or so.

What MS should do is to venture where no PS will go aka create a handheld XB based on series S’ specs. I’d buy it in a heartbeat

This is the lowest score on the MC (currently at 79 for the XBSX). I find it hard to believe that it's that low. For perspective, that's worse than GTA the trilogy, COD vanguard, BF2042 or even Space Jam: a new legacy. It's on par with such "gems" as Nickelodeon all-star brawl and Button city, but on the bright side, better than Balan wonderworld.
