If you're a regular Pure Xbox visitor, you've probably noticed by now that we have a pretty extensive 'All Xbox Games With Mouse & Keyboard Support' guide, which continues to grow by the month.
These days, you've got the ability to play the likes of Call of Duty, Hogwarts Legacy, Gears 5, Halo Infinite and much more by plugging in a mouse and keyboard. In fact, some games undoubtedly work best with M&K controls, such as Age of Empires 2: Definitive Edition, The Sims 4, Planet Coaster: Console Edition and others.
The question is, are Xbox users actually taking advantage of this, or is a feature they don't really care for? Mouse and keyboard support is always a nice addition to any game, but that doesn't necessarily mean it gets used all that much.
We'd love to hear your thoughts on this topic. How often do you make use of mouse and keyboard controls on Xbox, and for which games? Let us know down in the poll and comments below.

I gave it a go once on Halo Infinite in training mode but have never tried it in matchmaking.
My setup isn't really suitable for a keyboard and mouse.
I like to use it on my PC, but I have never connected a mouse to my Xbox. I occasionally connect a USB keyboard when I want to type something up though.
I'd love to more but having to constantly switch the usbs from pc to console is a hassle when I just wanna sit down and start gaming #firstworldproblems
Never.
I rarely even use a mouse and keyboard on my PC. Mostly interface through my Steam controller.
Never done so, does not mean I wont ever.
I used them all the time on my PS5 while I was playing FFXIV. I just have not gotten into a game on XBox that encouraged me to. Maybe Valheim will be that game once they enable achievements.
I'd love to but I don't know if what i want to get is compatible. I'm not getting better at aiming on halo and would like to use a mouse.
Elite series 2 on xbox and dualsense edge on PS. No need for a keyboard and mouse. Use then enough every day in work. Broken PS VR2 in its box on the floor. 🙁
I'd love to try a mouse and keyboard on call of duty as I hear aiming is far easier but as the matchmaking allows us control users to play separately, I haven't bothered yet.
Recently bought an elite 2 controller which broke just after 30 day return window. If it had broken earlier I probably would have swapped to keyboard rather than getting it repaired.
I would like to try it at some point, but I use pc for work all day and I really just prefer to play games in an easy chair with a controller. Still staring at a screen, but it feels different lol
Never on Xbox. Even on PC, I very much prefer a controller. Certain games though, like Hypnospace Outlaw, or point and click adventure games, make more sense with a mouse and keyboard, even if a controller is technically possible.
Never. I built a new PC rig but after playing mainly on console for many years my preferences remain. I don’t use mouse & keyboard on PC either (outside of browsing). PC is hooked up to the TV just like my Series X and is almost exclusively in Steam Big Picture mode.
Whenever a game supports K&M I go for it, with few exceptions
Awesome feature to have. Use it a lot in COD and Halo. Would LOVE to have the option in Diablo IV too.
I play Halo with a Xbox controller in my left hand and a mouse in my right!!!
Major downside is that I don't get the absolutely BROKEN controller aim assist this way. But it sure is comfy
Typing out long messages etc, I use a wireless KB.
I use mouse and keyboard everyday and it is a huge selling point for me on game choice. For example BF2042 does not have M&KB support but COD and Halo do, hence I play the latter two games and not battlefield.
My main multiplayer game is Warthunder and it supports M&KB and HOTAS at the same time. It feels great having this much control over game input with multiple connected devices.
