I personally don't like first person adventure games that much. I feel too much like I am playing a slower Far Cry game. I will play them and enjoy them for what they are, but I very much prefer a 3rd person view like Tomb Raider.

I personally love the Open World games. But sometimes, games need to be straight forward and linear. This may be one of them.

Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn looks AWESOME!!! Too bad I will never play it because it has the word Souls in the description. Lost me immediately when I read that. Too bad.

Why do any of you care about this anyways? How does being online or offline affect your joy of the game? I for one, couldnt care less about being forced to be online all the time because i am always connected to internet. But I am confused on why any of you would actually care? Also, what is all your problems with Ubisoft as a company? I personally think they have put out some of the best games I have every played. I enjoy all of the games i have played from them and really never had any issue whatsoever.

@Captain_Chao5 I personally am ok with the brawler style gameplay. I think the "Assassins" name is more of a brand now and not so much about being stealthy. I do love me some great stealthy/sneaky games, but i do also like getting right into the action.

@Banjo- I personally like the later games. Origins, Odysee and Valhalla are my top 3 right now. Dont get me wrong, i love the older ones where you go in and out of the animus. But i really like the fully open world and just exploring. Also, i dont have a favorite character. They are all so good.

This is my most anticipated game right now. I have played every AC game with the exception of the PSP ones and i look forward to every release. AC is my absolute favorite game series and i will Always be a fan no matter what. I love the huge open worlds, the large amounts of collectibles and side quests and the changing locations and battle systems. Ubisoft has done a great job making these games and I have no problem being in the minority on this on. I can't wait!

Do the people making these "Dynamic" backgrounds not realize that they are in NO WAY dynamic and most of them are pretty stupid? If they meant to do something interesting, they failed miserably...

I tried to play it when it first came out and it was so slow just like all the other Bethesda games. I guess i could try it out again to see if the new 60 fps does anything for me, but I am not a huge fan of Bethesda games in general.

The only way this game works is if its exactly the same style as the Lego games, where you unlock characters that allow you to do certain missions and side quests. The Lego games are the best so I am biased.

How do i get this deal while living in the US?

@Foxx_64740 I can get behind this. I also enjoyed the story and the conversations with the NPC's. It's just hard to go back to the beginning after getting so far.

The only main stream Lego game that wasnt good was The Lego Movie 2 game. It strayed from the standard Lego game style and ruined itself. The Lego games are fun because you can choose from a number of characters and replay levels to get the Red and Gold Bricks and find different things that certain characters are needed for. That is what i love about the Lego games.

No thanks, couldnt get into the first one. Any game that starts you over from the beginning after you die is not worth playing in my opinion. Yes i know, the Get Better crowd is out there, but come on...

Evil West is turning out to be a great game. Its not the best game i have every played, the voice acting is horrible and i wish it was more open world, but i love the game for what it is and its my pick for this list.

They need to stop giving away these MMO and Online Only freebies. Not everyone plays these games. They should start giving single players some bonuses, like extra outfits in single player games or a bonus gun or weapon or something.

If it was a complete remake from the ground up, then yes I would play it. But Remasters are usually pretty bad in my opinion and are a waste of company resources and money.

YES!!! Give me all the Marvel games, movies and TV shows!!!! Hopefully this comes to Xbox and Playstation and is in fact a single player action adventure game that is just like the Spider man games on PS.

I won't hold my breath, but i would love to see Xbox go the way of PlayStation and have more Single Player, Story driven games like The Last of Us, Ghost of Tsushima, Uncharted, God of War and Spiderman. Enough with the Souls like games and there are plenty of indie games to last a lifetime. Also, an Xbox specific bundle and partnership with Fortnite would be cool.

Still waiting for Actual Dynamic themes and backgrounds and also to move the My Games & Apps location back to where it was and not just on top of the screen.

Do more of these types of polls. Where you ask what our favorite game from every single game company is. These are fun to do and see what people like to play. Also, you should include more engaging things for us to do on this site. Like do a gaming bracket for top game of the month or something. And maybe giveaways for DLC codes or Vbucks or something fun for doing a multiple choice quiz or something. Or dont give anything away and just do some multiple choice quizes, that would be fun.

I really liked The Callisto Protocol so I personally am looking forward to the new game from this developer. Good luck to them!

As long as this is mostly like a Tomb Raider style game with lots of puzzles and things to collect and find and less of a shooter, then i will enjoy it.

This is simple. More games like Ghost of Tsushima, God of War, The Last of Us and Uncharted. These are the best games. A good story with single player action and upgradable/skill trees are the best. Less Souls-like games, less FPS games, and more 3rd person single player story campaign games with lots of collectibles and areas to explore in the open world/semi open world that give us an amazing experience to play by yourself.

No thanks... I'll stick with the Ghost wire Tokyo one since its the best they have released so far.

@FarmDog08 I am 41 with a 6-year-old, 4-year-old and a newborn and the only times I get to game is 7pm-10pm when the kids go to bed and right before I need to go to bed myself. Life is tough when you have responsibilities.

@NeoRatt Stacking was fun, but all the other games were boring to me. Costume Quest and Psychonauts are the only good games they need to continue.

@GamingFan4Lyf You are not wrong. And I appreciate your response. The list of games you added were almost all on the PS Plus program, so I played them all on my subscription. All I was saying is that Xbox is missing out on making these great third person, single player cinematic story games like PlayStation has. I totally agree with others that if I want to play them, I can on my PlayStation, but Xbox should definitely add them to their portfolio.

@GamingFan4Lyf I will admit that there are 1 or 2 other games that I forgot to list... But the number of Souls-Like games, reboots and remakes and FPS games is unbelievable. There was 1 article about Blade, E3 is officially cancelled. Metal Gear is not a new Xbox only game and is old. Street Fighter is fine. But the Xbox games coming out are lacking in the Single Player category and its annoying. All I am saying is Xbox used to be my one and only gaming console, but because they don't like the big cinematic Third person Story driven campaign games really bothers me. Not everyone wants to play FPS games or games like Fallout and Elder scrolls. Some of us want to play alone.

@Romans12 No, please give me a list of amazing Xbox only games that are on par with the Single player games that PS has? I am ready and willing to listen.

I know I am going to get hate for this, but, this site seems to only post updates on the same games. Baulders Gate 3, Halo, or Racing games. This is why I haven't been playing my Xbox lately. The same boring games coming out. No new single player campaign games like PS have. Xbox needs to get some good games like The Last of Us and God of War or Uncharted. Without those, my time is better spent elsewhere. Sorry for ranting and I do realize this is an unnecessary comment. Just needed to get that out. Ok, have a great Christmas everyone!

This was one of my favorite games of the year. The graphics, the story and the characters were all enjoyable.

I am getting real tired of the same games coming out for Xbox. Lots of smaller indie games and these party style games. Good thing I got a Playstation 5 so I can play all of the great Single player story driven games like Spider-Man, The Last of Us, God of War and Uncharted. Xbox has none of those and its really starting to turn me into a Playstation fan...

I am just going to assume that all games that come out in the future will be Souls-Like games until I read something that says they are Not a souls-like game.

There is almost nothing Dynamic about these. The only good one is the Ghostwire Tokyo one. They need to give this Dynamic thing a MAJOR overhaul because unless you are looking for something, you won't notice anything at all.

@FraserG No worries, It's not a huge deal to just go to the actual website and do the work myself. But when you click a link and you don't pay attention, it could be bad if something doesn't line up properly.

It really stinks (for me) when I click the link to go buy something from this site and it takes me to another countries Xbox page.

Hopefully it's NOT another Souls-like game like I heard it was going to be. We have enough of those that I refuse to already play.
