Cool to get the P3R expansion pass, but I feel bad for anyone who has to pay $34.99 for it. The Answer was never very substantial… or good. But maybe they’re really improving it.
Wasn’t the ff14 starter always free…?
Do the perks vary from region (or user) to region?
@jesse_dylan There is a free trial on Xbox that contains the whole game, two expansions and can be levelled up to level 70, if I remember correctly.
@Banjo- Wow--that's a lot! Not sure I'd ever have time!
@Banjo- They do occasionally, yes. The vast majority are the same, but some are region-specific.
The paramount + perk doesn't work, at least for me. It doesn't give or offer the 3 months it just wants me to pay full price right off the bat. Still the upcoming perks like expansion and starter packs look good. Any perk claimed with ultimate is permanent part of your owned content regardless if you keep ultimate.
@jesse_dylan The starter edition contains the same content as the free trial, however the trial version has some restrictions on some of the more social aspects of the game that the starter edition will allow you to do.
@Kevw2006 Ah, okay, thanks--that's cool!
@jesse_dylan Definitely. I don't want to start it until I know that I have more free time.
@FraserG Thanks.
@Rodimusprime13
It won't work if you used a trial before.
I missed the Wal*Mart+ perk by a day.
I hope they bring that one back.
@jesse_dylan yes
They need to stop giving away these MMO and Online Only freebies. Not everyone plays these games. They should start giving single players some bonuses, like extra outfits in single player games or a bonus gun or weapon or something.
P3R expansion pass for £0 extra rather than £29 extra is a huge W.
I think the P3 expansion pass is the first perk I’ve ever actually used. I would not have purchased it for $35, though. $35 for 20 hours of new (possibly boring, we’ll see) gameplay, some music, some outfits… is not a great deal. And I remember thinking The Answer kinda sucked in 2007. But hopefully the Episode Aigis redo of it will be great.
