Fancy a new Xbox Dynamic Background for your Series X or S? We usually see these added on a periodic basis throughout the year, but Xbox and EA Sports have actually treated us to five brand-new options over the past few days.
These are all based on EA Sports franchises, from F1 to NHL, and in all honesty they're not very dynamic at all. Still, we'll take what we can get, and some of them look pretty nice as a background image on our Xbox consoles!
In all, there are now eight EA Sports titles that have received the Xbox Dynamic Background treatment:
- EA Sports FC 24
- EA Sports PGA Tour
- EA Sports UFC 5
- EA Sports WRC
- F1 23
- Madden NFL 24
- NHL 24
- Super Mega Baseball 4
If you want to explore this new collection of Dynamic Backgrounds for Xbox Series X and Series S, you'll need to go to Settings on your Xbox console followed by General, Personalisation, My Background and then Dynamic Backgrounds.
We'll throw a few examples below, but keep in mind these are still images. The actual dynamic part is limited to effects like camera flashes, a gentle ice spray, and a minor dust cloud in WRC. Don't expect anything too crazy!

Do you use the Dynamic Backgrounds function on Xbox? Let us know down in the comments.

I’ll be sticking with the OG Xbox dynamic background.
Those are all quite ***** tbh still think the Diablo 4 background is the best they've released so far.
I used the PGA one as a United fan I couldn't have haaland on my home screen
I'll be slapping that NHL one on. Great to see Makar and the Avs get the limelight this year
My game pass money is being well spent this month I see...
I'm not really into sports anymore so I will passing on these. Hopefully Hellblade drops one soon.
I like the idea of them but don't really like the designs of any. Not least that it's clear many haven't considered text laying over the top which often becomes much harder to read. That said the ones above look to have addressed this, it's just not my areas of interest.
I can't tell if I like them as they're mostly covered by all the ads 😛
The Pebble Beach and F1 backgrounds are nice.
I prefer having it where the background changes to whatever game icon I'm currently on.
No thanks... I'll stick with the Ghost wire Tokyo one since its the best they have released so far.
I want more abstract dynamic backgrounds, nothing ip or brand related
@SoulChimera Same, that's what I have been using since I bought my Series X. Everything else just doesn't hold up as well, I get tired of it.
