Don't Forget, It's Almost Time For Tomb Raider 1-3 Remastered On Xbox

I will probably get it some day. If the controls are not greatly improved I might skip it. I own them all on pc and my concerns are not the visuals. The gameplay is brutal nowadays.

This will probably be in the under $10 bin on Steam sales in a year or two so that might be where I grab it.

I’ll have to wait and hear what the quality is like first, but I definitely want to support this, in hopes Aspyr can give The Last Revelation the same treatment. Wishful thinking maybe.

I really hope it’s not busted though.

I’m very curious about this one. Looking forward to playing it. Loved the TR games back in the day. Would be nice to revisit them.

There’s nothing I’m playing right now so I’d probably end up getting this. Still have an Xbox store card to use and to be able to play the original Tomb Raider games but with better graphics would be cool.

The first Tomb Raider was the first console game in proper 3D (ignoring the 16-bit attempts) because the Saturn version (1996) was released before Super Mario 64 here (1997). I played the Anniversary version on Xbox and the game itself is solid. I would like to have this trilogy and play the second and third entries. Besides, this is good for preserving these classics.

I remember getting my first PSX. Came with 1 controller, no games and a demo disc which had among others, a short demo where you played a spider. All for the low low cost of £149.99 😆.
TR was first full game me and a m8 bought. Spent a week solid completing it hehe. Good times. I'm hoping the remastered gfx hold up and please please let them keep the old control system. That will really sort the men from the boys 😆 (or women from girls).
Recently bought TR definitive Editions in sale on Xbox store and loving replaying them too. Recommended.

Tomb raider 1 and 2 are 2 of my favourite games of all time but there time has long passed now and i don't want ruin my nostalgia with them now by how bad they look and control

Honestly I don't think these old Tomb Raider games have aged that well. Maybe if they completely redo the controls to make it control like a modern game it could be nice, but I always thought they suffered from that "early attempt at 3D gaming" feel that can plague a lot of games from the era. Most of their significance is simply on the character by now.

The truth is that I loved these games back in the day, TR3 was my favorite game of all time, I even beat it on my crappy PC running in like 10 frames per second. But I was ready to leave them in my nostalgia tinted glasses until I saw the price, and pre ordered it.

I may give it a go if it's on a good sale next Christmas or something, or comes to Game Pass as I've never played a Tomb Raider game before.

Played them all so probably not. These games need more like a remake so controls are at current level. I do remember how big these games were.

I think Tomb Raider are fun games, so yes, sometime this year I will buy these Tomb Raiders

I pre-ordered when it was first available, when it was advertized as Xbox Play Anywhere. Now I just saw that they've removed the XPA feature. I never played it back in the day and was looking forward to trying, but it's not worth the $27 if I don't get both the console and PC versions. Very annoyed and complaining via the Xbox store. Hopefully I'll get refunded and maybe pick it up later when it's on sale.
