Last week, we mentioned how the team at Nightdive Studios was interested in bringing Xbox 360 games back from the dead, and now they're publicly asking which Xbox 360 (and PS3) games you'd like to see get the remaster treatment.
This is via a follow-up post on Twitter, where Nightdive has been inundated with replies mentioning games like The Darkness, Lost Odyssey, The Saboteur, Singularity, Quake 4, Condemned, Army of Two and so much more.
Here are just a few examples:
As you can see, there are a few PS3 exclusives in these request lists as well, and we're not against that either - a Nightdive remaster of these games could bring them to Xbox for the first time (in the right circumstances at least!).
It certainly seems like the company is eager to get feedback anyway, so feel free to go and share your own requests with the team, and then let us know what you asked for in the comments below! There are so many great options...
Which Xbox 360 games do you think need a remaster? Tell us in the comments section.

Fifa 12 hahaha 😂
But seriously the only 360 game I can think of is full house poker the one you played as your avatar there used to be weekend tournaments well populated loads of fun all just for in game cash clothes and a props but I loved it🤷
The Darkness for sure. I loved that game when it came out. A modern version with some extra polish would be fantastic.
CRACKDOWN!!!! PLEASE!!!!!!!
Mortal Kombat 9.
@Brigurugi Yes, Crackdown, I loved that game. But Burnout Revenge for me, I played that game A LOT!!! 😁
Darkwatch, Midtown Madness & Cold Fear from OG XBox days
Removed - unconstructive
I'd like to see some things that aren't currently backwards compatible like Project Silpheed, Ninety Nine Nights, Condemned 2, or the first Kane and Lynch
None, remasters need to go away. I understand the reason behind them, but unless they are remasting the Naruto: Rise of a Ninja and Naruto: Broken Bonds games from Ubisoft, we dont need remasters of any games.
@Scottdevine53
MK9 still holds up incredibly well, it doesn't need an update.
I'm going to plump for Forbidden Siren.
I'd like Remember Me. Only played through it once, but would like to do so again
I'm glad Tenchu Z was mentioned in one of those posts, it needs mentioned more. Please, Tenchu Z! 🥲

"None, remasters need to go away"
Just because you personally don't like remasters doesn't mean they should no longer be a thing. New games are still being developed regardless of remasters/remakes. Contrary to common belief amongst the denizens of websites like this one remasters/remakes are not detrimental to the industry in any way.
@NishimuraX Especially when Nightdive exclusively does remasters! People are always harping about game preservation and then harp even more when remasters help make old games available.
Culdcept Saga, I would be happy even with just backward compatibility or a steam release.
@ButterySmooth30FPS
Indeed.
@NarutosBiggestFan yeah, no. They're a great way to bring awesome old games forward and give people the chance to enjoy them again in a modern way as well as people who never got the chance to play them before. They're a great way to preserve older games.
Singularity
Battlefield 3
Velvet assassin
Afro samurai
Dark sector
The darkness
Stranglehold
Quake 4
Prey
Legendary
The medal of honor games
Batman arkham origins
The mercenaries games
The army of two games
Spec ops the line
The chronicles of riddick
Dead to rights game
Fuse
1 v 100 for me. Strangely can't think of anything else off the top of my head. Too tired
Thinking about it I'd prefer to see Nightdive work on even older titles as the majority of 360/PS3 games still hold up.
I picked up Nightdive's 'Shadow Man' remaster last year and it was excellent. Tweeks and changes made where necessary while still maintaining the originals' charm and feel.
@Scottdevine53 man, that would be nice if it could happen.
@redgrave0 Had to shout out your awesome pfp (and username for that matter)! I read the DMC novel several times over, and still have my original copy on the shelf🔥
@PhileasFragg yeah the framerate can be moody to say the least. But man what an experience that game is.
Like I said in the last one - forget 360, go back another gen and pull forward some gems. Hunter the Reckoning, Nightmare Creatures, Buffy 1 + 2.
Thief pleeeease
@redgrave0 100%
Lord of the Rings Conquest. For some reason I always enjoyed that game.
@RetroMan71 Burnout Revenge and I'd like both Midtown and Motocross Madness to make a return.
@redgrave0 YES! The entire series(PS2 and DS) on one disc would be amazing. Still pull out my 360 to play a round or two.
The Darkness
Condemned
F.E.A.R.
Escape from Butcher Bay
Deus Ex: Invisible War (I know, it's an original Xbox game)
@NarutosBiggestFan "We don't need remasters". YOU don't speak for WE. lol. Easy fix, don't buy them. Bye.
@Romans12
I've been playing the recent re-release F.E.A.R Platinum on GoG. Trust me, it doesn't need a remaster. It remains excellent - well at least on PC.
Seems like Nightdive is pretty much exclusively FPS, so going from that perspective, I'd love to see:
Original Xbox:
Area 51
Tron 2.0
Breakdown
Return to Castle Wolfenstein
Turok: Evolution
Soldier of Fortune II
Rainbow Six 3 (and Black Arrow)
Phantom Crash
Xbox 360:
Chronicles of Riddick
Singularity
Deus Ex: Human Revolution
Mirror's Edge
Prey
Sanctum 2
Syndicate
Turok
PS3-Exclusive:
Resistance Trilogy
Wii-Exclusive:
Red Steel 1 & 2
Most I'd take of shooters from PS3/360 era. It's why I'm buying them up. That and I think it fits their engine. Sure I'd love some racing games like Flatout (no licensed cars, but was music so who knows) and any others I'd want have licensed cars so won't happen.
Platformers could say for a while.
If EA won't do a Dragon Age remaster why not. I know engines and things but still.
Red Steel 1 & 2, Conduit for Wii, NFS Hot Pursuit 2010 Wii come on EA not just the PS3/360/PC one remastered give us the Wii one. Or Nitro DS/Wii even if DS is better.
Prey 2006, Fracture, Singularity (all 3 I do want to play if find copies), Binary Domain, Resistance, Killzone,
Soldier of Fortune series, The Darkness 1 & 2, FEAR series, Quake 4 for sure.
Call of Juarez, got Bound in Blood on PS3 and Gunslinger on Switch. would like to experience the rest of the series.
Army of Two, what a trilogy. Not beat 1 and 2 but did Devils Cartel.
Section 8 and it's eshop only sequel so it's accessible again.
Remember Me for sure, I'm glad I have a copy now what a game. Especially as while Dontnod's other games are good to me Remember Me was a very interesting one that got left behind. What ideas, combat, world, piecing together events sections are cool, they bother me as much as Danganronpa trials do but very cool.
Spare Parts an EA platformer that was eshop only.
Under the Skin from PS2..... because why not. PN03 from GameCube.
Killer 7.
Most games nowadays are really boring of their gameplay and push graphics, story and boring worlds to play in, or of reference and I don't care for them at all, so anything older to offer with good gameplay I'll easily take remasters of.
Many gems I'd say if I could fit them, but I know more well known games are an easier bet then dead publishers or developers and games that were good and just not available of licensing/source code or many would care. Puzzle games or otherwise.
Indies have their moments, AAA are stuck in their ways, AA are Indie like or AAA like and their in-between only sometimes offers something good and not AAA boring or Indie getting there.
Any games would be nice to offer but whatever happens I guess.
How come nobody else has mentioned Viva Pinata?
Great game that was limited by the hardware at the time.
Think was og Xbox but Marc eckos getting up would be great.awesome game and nothing else like it
I agree with The Darkness just so it finally gets a PC version (only The Darkness 2 is out on PC).
Half Life Collection. HL1, HL2, HL2 - Ep 1 & Ep 2 all remastered in one collection with a load of extras from the Valve archives (maybe even a HL documentary). 👍 That would be perfect. Unfortunately I don’t use Twitter so if anyone would like to pass that one on, I’d be immensely grateful. 😁
Shadowrun, the first person shooter game. PLEASE!
Alice: Madness Returns is my easy pick
Em how about Halo 3?
But I woukd take condemned 1 and 2, Fear and Prey
@RegnumSolipsi mirror's edge is backwards compatible and is excellent on xbox series, I think it even had 120 fps
What Genies Lamp do I have to rub to get the Transformers Cybertron games Remastered?
