Welcome to the weekend! There's plenty of stuff to check out on Xbox over the next few days, including the new release of Evil Dead: The Game, more Xbox Game Pass titles, three Free Play Days titles, and the massive set of sales!
Here's what we're playing this weekend:

I'll tell you what I found on Xbox Game Pass thanks to Microsoft Rewards earlier this week - a game called Mighty Goose. It's a Run & Gun shooter that I fully anticipated I'd be playing for a couple of minutes just to complete the punch card and then move on, but found myself pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed what it has to offer. I'm not really a Run & Gun fan, but I'm definitely going to be playing more of Mighty Goose over the weekend.
Elsewhere, I'm planning to jump back into Forza Horizon 5 this weekend to complete the Microsoft Rewards punch card for that game, as well as just make some general progress and maybe play some of The Eliminator.
That's about it for me I think! Have a good weekend, folks.

Evil Dead: The Game is the order of the weekend for me, so I'll be digging into this asymmetric horror title to see what's what. After having a good time with Friday the 13th a few years ago, I've got high hopes that Evil Dead can deliver some of the same thrills, potentially with less bugs to boot. Expect some impressions of this one on the site real soon.
Other than that, I've had an odd itch to go back and play some Killing Floor 2, so I may well go and scratch that itch. This zombie-slaying co-op game is a hell of a lot of fun with friends, and I highly recommend it for fans of anything horde-like!
Have a great weekend guys.

On playstation 5 I will try and finish the voice of the cards forsaken maiden and carry on with the trails of cold steel 1, I have put elden ring on hold for a week or two as its getting quite hard for me (atlus plains)
On the Nintendo switch I will carry on with fire emblem three houses, currently on chapter 17 with golden deer House and seems to be coming to an end soon.
Trying out WRC10 & The Division 2 (Xbox Live Free Weekend). Finishing The Pedestrian. Continue playing Tiny Tina's Wonderlands.
Opted to get Evil Dead on PS5, stayed up for the midnight launch and everything went smoothly. Will be kicking Kandarian demon butt for the foreseeable future. The game is a blast and a lot of fun. Hail to the King, baby.
I'm playing Gears 5: Hivebusters and watching Better Call Saul.
Twisted Metal 2 (PS) - On my last playthrough now, I saved Thumper for last.
Dr. Mario World (Android) - I went to play this and forgot the servers closed, rendering it unplayable
ExZeus 2 (Windows Phone) - I don't think I can top my scores anymore, so I dare say my journey is ending with this one.
Hi there fellow gamers,
After more than 200 hours of playing, helping people defeat Bosses, finishing and Platinum the jurggernaut of a game that is Elden Ring, I´m now ready for something else.
So this weekend I´ll be playing the following games:
Cheers, saty safe, stay well and happy gaming weekend to us all
@Chaudy @Kooky_Daisuke
Hi there friends.
Loved both Binary Domain (underrated gem imo) on Xbox 360 and Jade Empire on my OG Xbox.
Would love a sequel to both of those games.
Better Call Saul is such a good show. The ending of the third season was brilliant and sad at the same time.
Gotta watch the rest when I can.
Cheers, stay safe you tow and have a good one
A bit of Apex and a bit of Halo Infinite I think.
Continuing slowly but steady with weird west,
Also I restarted outsiders which i find it fun.
Nothing
I bought Monster Hunter Rise on my switch recently, so that and Mass Effect 2 on the Xbox
Ys 8 on my ps5. Absolute gem of an jrpg. Am on the last chapter now but don't want it to end.
On my Xbox im playing cyberpunk which is Ok not as spectacular as I hoped it would be. Outside of that I started eiyuden chronicles as a side game.
Tunic, one of the best Indie games of all time in my opinion. Amazing for one developer. Asura's Wrath and brought the DLC for the true ending
@Kooky_Daisuke What a quality collection of classic's. I have Jade Empire and Binary Domain but would definitely like to get the FEAR trilogy
Forbidden West on PS5 and Death's Door on Series X. Both are incredible
Most of the weekend will be Cyberpunk 2077 on my PS5. Might play some Halo 3 on my Series X if I have some extra time as well since I'm not quite done with the campaign yet.
I’m playing a lot of different things which is unusual for me - but nothing is holding my attention at all. With the current weather climate I decided to replay AC Odyssey and it’s been a blast so far. I played it when it originally released on the PS4 and got the platinum; but I never played the subsequent DLC. This game is an honest to god masterpiece, in my opinion.
Other than that, I’m still playing Rogue Legacy 2 and doing one or two runs a day. I’m also still making my way through Sniper Elite 4 via Game Pass and I’m enjoying it so much I might buy the DLC. I can’t wait for SE5.
I'm just over halfway through Alien: Isolation and getting tired of it. It's not that interesting in general, and it can be frustrating since the xenomorph will literally just pop up out of nowhere and kill you sometimes. Sometimes it's my fault, and other times the game just decides it's time for me to die and start over at the last checkpoint. All the weapons and gadgets are unnecessary (and practically useless anyway), and the stealth sections are not even close to as exciting as something like Dishonored.
I'm also playing Trek to Yomi and nearing the end. The game looks great in certain ways - the design of the world is stunning - but the framerate is all over the place. Feels like it ranges from 60-20fps, which is kindof baffling considering what's actually being rendered on screen at any given time. The full commitment to black and white also just gets boring after a while. It would have been better if there were at least pops of color now and again, like if blood was red or flames were orange or something. People are saying the combat is tedious, and I agree with that to a certain extent, but more than being repetitive and boring, I find it to be inconsistent and unresponsive. Maybe I just need to "get good" or whatever, but I'm not sure that's the root issue.
I'll probably drag myself through both of these games to completion but I'm considering starting another game just so I can play something a little more fun for me. Maybe I'll jump back into Vestaria Saga instead, but I'm in more of a mood for action.. I should probably just go out and do something in real life instead hahaha 😅
Disco Elysium and a bit of Neverwinter
Donkey Kong Country 4 and Zelda Oracle of Ages on 3DS
Alice Madness Returns on xbox360
Madden and NHL Double Pack on Mega Drive
The Lucky Dime Caper starring Donald Duck on Master System
I pre-ordered Evil Dead and had a few matches on it last night but I didn’t think it was that good, it looks great but I think it’s worth waiting for it to go cheap in a sale. It didn’t have the fear factor that you get from Friday the 13th and Dead by Daylight.
I requested a refund and had it accepted straight away so I’ll be putting the money towards Saints Row instead. Also I got the 4000 MS reward points for buying the game so it wasn’t a complete waste of time.
Now that I beat Elden Ring, I decided to go for a throw back, I’m currently playing Lost Odyssey. Although it feels like a product of its era, I’m really enjoying it so far.
@Kooky_Daisuke Hah! I watched Paragon Lost at an anime festival in Edinburgh a few years ago. It's surprisingly good. Certainly better than some of the very, very, very strange Japanese films we saw. I hope you enjoy it!
I had a marathon session on ME2 today. I'd never played this before. I can see why it's such a highly regarded game.
Bought homefront Revolution for £1.59 and am enjoying playing that
Burning time on Evil Dead. But Jeesus. Can't even do the first mission. Not sure what am doing wrong. I just want to unlock people.
@Kooky_Daisuke Binary Domain and Jade Empire are a pair if fantastic games! Admittedly I haven't played them in a few yers but would love them to be re-released on the series s/x with updated graphics.
@RaZieLDaNtE I wish I could move on from Elden Ring. I "completed" it on first run but have very happily played through another two times… and will do so a fourth!
@scarecrowknife Chainsaw, chainsaw, right stick, chainsaw, right stick for the weak deadites. Kite the big ones with your boomstick. Don't be afraid to break a reload with a dodge. Kill the small guys first because the I-frames during the finishers/special moves. Once you get the timing down, you'll save a lot of Shemp's cola. Also, explore every area thoroughly after you clear it of deadites. Good luck!
@MarkD01 Hi there friend.
I know exactely what you mean.
It´s been awhile since a game as consumed me this much.
Even after finishing it, I till want to play more of it. Try different builds (only tried 3), play some co-op with friends and do some Pvp. As for doing it all over again..... Maybe after I finished a few more games.
Cheers, stay safe and enjoy your week
