Re: Microsoft Posts 'Farewell' Message As Xbox Game Pass Mobile App Goes Offline

HonestHick

@Residentsteven i agree, as much as i love and prefer Xbox to my PS. I do like the PS App on iPhone way better than the Xbox one. This is an area MS needs to get better in if they are in fact competing with Steam on the PC and Hybrid Console. They need to get thier Ui, Store fronts, apps etc all much more streamlined and clean to get users to want to be there. Cause Steam is very clean and easy to use. Xbox on PC is a cluttered mess.

Re: Amazon Adds 'Frequently Returned Item' Warning To Xbox Elite Series 2 Controller

HonestHick

It’s the only blemish on this controllers resume. Otherwise it is by far the best of the best in my opinion. I am hoping on Elite 3 they crank the quality control up to 11. If so they will have a monster controller on hand and i will get one. At the moment while i wait i am just using the Series X basic controller and love it. I had 2 stick drifts on those in almost 5 years but i play on them every day. Now i have had one stick drift and a broken D-Pad on my PS5 Dual Sense and i barely use it. I only play a few games on that box.

Re: Xbox Controllers Drop To Lowest Price Of 2025 At Amazon UK

HonestHick

@Kaloudz Thank you, i am trying to keep it 100 out here.

The thing that gets me is over on Push Square i see them all say i will just buy so and so game when it’s $20 dollar or used and then turn around and say GP makes dev’s no money. So how did your $20 bucks or even worse used copy do anything for the dev. Plus you had to wait that long to play it. GP players are eating on day 1 and giving money every month for MS to cut checks. It makes no sense how if you saying someting really stupid and out of pocket but it’s about Xbox everyone will go along with it. But God forbid i go on there and say some thing truthful about PS and they go banana’s and start name calling and whatever lame tactic to avoid the truth they use. Thats why i say what i say and do what i do cause the Media isn’t telling the truth and the PS sites act like cancelling 12 live service games and Concord is swept under the rug cause well Sony sold 75 million PS5’s. Who cares? I bought a PS5 and am selling it for a Switch 2 when it comes out cause there is no games on it i want to play. About time they get rolling you are look at PS6 or Steam on Xbox. You can’t cancel 12 games and all of a sudden have a roadmap of killer ip’s coming out a year or 2 later. I am just ranting now but this is why i love Pure Xbox and of course yourself and others on here. That other website is just logically messed up. All they do is talk about Xbox and how it’s going out of business or how well Sony is selling. BOOORING and not even true about Xbox.

Re: Xbox Controllers Drop To Lowest Price Of 2025 At Amazon UK

HonestHick

@Kaloudz “I honestly don't get where the hate comes from lol”

I can tell you where some of it comes from. A lot of people are mad Xbox won’t go away. They want that day for when the news hits that MS is pulling the plug on Xbox hardware. So they can all come out and say we told you so, and just trash all over the fans of a plastic box. Cause they are that petty and messed up. It means that much to them to be right and shove it in the faces. That isn’t console wars that is mental health issues. They thought for sure they were all going to get the last laugh as MS was bringing Xbox games to PS. So all next gen they just needed a PS6 and they could play all the games. When the answer to that was right in front of them. Phil said he wanted other store fronts on an open platform. Right there say’s Steam and Epic allowing PS games on your windows Xbox hybrid. They never seen it and it was there all along. Now they are really upset on social media and YouTube. Not cause more gamers have more choice, and can play more games but because they lost their haha we got someting on you Xbox guys. This Asus deal with Xbox is the first look into how this next next console will work. That Xbox branded OEM Asus handheld will be able to play Steam and PS5 games. Now just wait until Xbox partners with Alienware and Razer and Asus to make a powerful Xbox hybrid PC that yes might cost a lot but will crush the PS6 in power. They ain’t going to be happy to know we can play PS games on a more powerful box, cause Xbox is using windows and is a PC with console ease of use. Sit back and watch, cause i have my eyes all over the news of this next Xbox strategy and it’s starting to look like a dream machine. The best of PC with the ease of use Xbox console we know and love.

Re: Xbox Controllers Drop To Lowest Price Of 2025 At Amazon UK

HonestHick

@Kaloudz you will spend that now once every 3 years. Enjoy my brother. Always love chatting with you on here. You keep it real about Xbox, the good, the bad and the in between. The internet wants to hate on us Xbox fans all the time. Saying we are leaving the platform, or this or that and the truth is you, me and many more on here couldn’t give a you know what to those voices. We are Xbox and we will be there day 1 in 2026 or 2027. I love the platform and i love this site, but i don’t like those screwdrivers hahaha

Re: Xbox Controllers Drop To Lowest Price Of 2025 At Amazon UK

HonestHick

@Kaloudz HAHA you ain’t lying about that and thats only if you have a screwdriver small enough to even work on the phone.

Yeah you can’t go wrong with those MS recharge kits. I have been using them since the 360 and Xbox One days. Never did me wrong. Saves me money and time. If you charge it from the console it charges fully in like 30 mins or so. Then it last for 30-40 hours. Unlike the Dual sense which barely gets 10.

Re: Talking Point: Will Any Next-Gen Xbox Have A Disc Drive?

HonestHick

@donv2135 I honestly hope dvd and physical media is making a comeback. I don’t think only digital is the smartest thing for the consumer. Sure digital has its perks and thats why i use it. But i ain’t sure i trust it fully and for movies i would perfer to have a disc truth told. But i am just not sure we will see PC, Xbox and maybe at some point PlayStation ever supporting physical as gamers are largely all digital these days. Nintendo likely sticks with physical for a while tho. Time will time. But rumors are not many brands even make disc drives any more. Which makes sense, they aren’t in vehicles no more, no laptops have them anymore and consoles are slowly phasing them out. Once Sony, LG and Panasonic quit making them it’s all digital then. I still think people should have a choice personally.

Re: Xbox Controllers Drop To Lowest Price Of 2025 At Amazon UK

HonestHick

@Kaloudz @Residentsteven @FraserG

I use the MS branded play and charge kit. Get’s 30-40 hours per charge and takes no time to fully charge it. They last me around 3 years and i game on Xbox daily. So they get used often. Luckily it sounds like the next Xbox will have a more built in solution like the Elite Series. However correct me if i am wrong i think the UK government is requesting all batteries have to be removable going forward. Again take that with a pinch of salt. Think i read that a year ago. Not sure if it’s held up or not.

https://www.xbox.com/en-US/accessories/batteries-chargers/play-and-charge-kit

Re: Talking Point: Will Any Next-Gen Xbox Have A Disc Drive?

HonestHick

@donv2135 it’s already niche now. Some games not even launching physical copies. Most major retailers barely carry copies. So once they fully stop like they did with movies and music it’s over. Which again i am not saying i am for or against. I don’t use physical media but for those that do it does suck that it is largely dead. Nintendo still has a healthy physical media spilt, but Xbox and PS are above 80% pushing 90% digitally. The market won’t spend money on less than 10% of the player base.

Re: Xbox Buying Ubisoft Would Be An Unwise Move, Suggests Former PlayStation Boss

HonestHick

Ubisoft should just downsize and fours on the few IP’s they have that can make money if made well. Sure people will loose their jobs, but some of them will be picked up at other places. New studios open all the time. But Ubisoft don’t need to be this big when most of their titles just aren’t major performers. Plus once GTA 6 and other titles come out, gamers will be on GTA, COD, FIFA MADDEN and all the other games that month in month out domaint the sales charts. Ubisoft don’t have one of those games. Keep a hand full of IP, focus on making them good and launch them in open windows when other big games aren’t coming out would be my plan of building it back.

Re: GTA 6 Launch Could Cause Delays At Three Major Publishers, Says Report

HonestHick

@Fishticon the formula that worked in 2013 is still selling today and making boat loads of money. GTA 5 is still selling better than most next gen games, it for sure is being played more than most games. Going to need more info as to why this will be a dud, as it will likely break all records in 24 hours of all media content ever. GTA is worth more than some countries. Sorry but your take on this one has little to stand on. COD comes out every year mostly the same and makes a billion dollars in a few days. GTA fans have been waiting on this for a decade. They will show out!

Re: Talking Point: Could Sony 'Block' PlayStation Games On An Xbox Handheld?

HonestHick

@LogicStrikesAgain i am not sure if all with go to Steam as many casual players will likely use the MS store they already know. Maybe MS gives a good incentive to use its store over Steam. These are the things i still can’t get my head around as well. But having the options is a BIG win for gamers as a closed ecosystem console experience for years has gotten to a point of being bad for the consumers.

I could never skip a Xbox console generation cause the Xbox controller for me dog walks the PS controller. Those thumb sticks on PS for shooters are just awful.

Re: Talking Point: Could Sony 'Block' PlayStation Games On An Xbox Handheld?

HonestHick

@LogicStrikesAgain couple things here. Yes they will make 70% on steam on 1st party titles plus they will have GP Subs, of course they will still have their own store like they do now along with Steam and maybe even Epic giving players choice. Now i think more people would prefer Steam, so yes MS losses some sales on its own store, however it offset’s some of that by making money off PS and Switch stores. Is that enough? I don’t know cause this thing has lots of curveballs as to what it looks like and how they go about it. But PC is about choice and it looks like they want to give players those options on this device. Phil said it in an interview he would like Steam and other store fronts alongside Xbox store fronts. There is a lot to learn here still. But making money on 2 other platforms is something alongside owning windows that Sony and Nintendo can not do. After all this console looks to be trying to take advantage of it’s strengths and not just making a direct console that get’s overlooked by PS consoles. I will say this, this next Xbox is a console reveal that i will be most looking forward to learning about maybe more than any other one in the history of consoles as it has a lot to unpack.

Re: Talking Point: Could Sony 'Block' PlayStation Games On An Xbox Handheld?

HonestHick

@LogicStrikesAgain “i dont know how all these things work, so i may be way off here. But i’m guessing if Steam is the main store used on this upcoming Xbox branded PC handheld, then MS doesnt get a cut from each sold game, right? So what is their play here?”

So does Sony get a cut when they sell a game on Steam? Yes they get 70% and Steam gets 30%, why would MS not get 70%?

Re: Helldivers 2 Xbox Petition Passes 130,000 Signatures, But Don't Get Your Hopes Up

HonestHick

@dskatter the PC market is way larger than the Xbox and PS market combined. We are seeing that on the sales charts. Monster hunter wilds just sold more there then PS and Xbox combined. But again 3 million sales on a platform with 30 plus million user base at $50-$70 a copy is good money. Xbox gamers myself included still buy lot’s of games. I mean i don’t care if Sony does it or not, that’s their bottom line to worry about not mine. But this notion of 30 plus players is something to ignore just don’t make any sense. GTA 6 is about to make a bucket load of cash on Xbox, it ain’t going to GP, so why not Spider-Man?

Re: Helldivers 2 Xbox Petition Passes 130,000 Signatures, But Don't Get Your Hopes Up

HonestHick

I think many on here should be reminded without HD2 going to PC the game would have been a tiny title for that year and largely not even talked about now. PC carried this title and largely still does. Much like the new Monster Hunter, which sold more on PC than the other platforms combined. Yet on the other website you have people saying Xbox and PC player don’t buy games.

Re: Helldivers 2 Xbox Petition Passes 130,000 Signatures, But Don't Get Your Hopes Up

HonestHick

@ButterySmooth30FPS say spider man 1 came over to Xbox to make money to support spider man 3 development. That is smart business. 34 pushing 35 million Xbox’s in the world, easily sells 3 million copies on Xbox. At let’s say $50-$60 dollars. You do the math on how much that is vs porting fee’s. Sony is a stubborn company, hence they no longer sell as many products as they did and are like 6th in TV sales today. Which again is fine, i own a PS but to say it wouldn’t make sense for them is foolish.

Re: Xbox Features 'Steam' Games In New Mockup UI Image From GDC

HonestHick

@TheGameThrifter yeah i am with you that i would have liked to see them earn customers back with great exclusive games. The problem is no one is leaving thier digital PS consoles behind to jump to Xbox, or their friends list etc etc. sure 2021 seemed like a good year cause the people that wanted Xbox’s didn’t have them yet. But once they hit over 25 million in sales it has come to a crawl in hardware sales. Showing MS they can’t grow the install base high enough to support exclusive titles. Plus they been supporting PC for a long time now. So they are going to blend that business some here and make development easier on their teams. Cause now all MS studio teams have to do is make a game for windows PC in mind and it run’s across all platforms outside of Switch and PS and yes i do expect the next Xbox to be around $700-$800 as it will be a mid range PC. So Sales will shrink even more. It’s all sad to me. I’ve been with Xbox since OG and it’s always been my favorite place to game. But it’s all going to change hardware wise next gen with them not meeting enough sales. I see and understand your thoughts and concerns, i have mine as well. Until we know more this is the best we can do is follow the bread crumb of info on the software and hardware and see what happens.

Re: Xbox Is Seemingly Hard At Work On Backwards Compatibility For The Next Xbox Consoles

HonestHick

@Coletrain we are so close to the same person, haha! I am an accountant for local government. So i too do finance. Never got to much in the tech side of work. Love to study it in my free time and of course am 12/10 crazy for video games.

I owned all 5 PS consoles and from PS3-PS5 they have been only a exclusive machine for me cause largely i dislike all 3 controllers, the six axis on launch which i bought was trash, worst controller I’ve ever used. Dual shock 4 on PS4 was sort of ok. Useable but not my lay out, Dual sense on PS5 is a little to big and wide and has those awful thumb stick placement so it’s largely just sitting around until they get something i have to play on it. So to say i have hated exclusives isn’t a new thing for me just because MS is bringing its games to all platforms in some fan boy plastic war.

However i get the draw of them and am ok with platforms using them to lure in customers, hence i still buy the box even tho months go by without me turning it on for long. I just want Xbox to be around until i am not. I love it that much as a brand and it makes me mad they gave back all the work 360 did. I always said nothing would top my joy than i had with Super Nes, my first ever console i got for Christmas. Had a ton of games on it and crushed every score on Super Punch Out ever recorded. Still play it today on Switch. Then came along 360 and Gears of War, my friends all moved away, got married, had kids etc etc, Xbox live on that for what we called Friday night Gears and Beers became my first time in gaming history. I am a HUGE Gears of War fan, 1-3 of course. E-day being my most wanted game since RDR2. There it is my friend. Thats my love for Xbox, Gears and Beers. It changed me and secondary and maybe more importantly the controller. Every Xbox controller after the Duke has been my favorite of the generation. Series X fit’s me like a glove. I am so fast on it when i play on PS i feel like my hands grew 30 years in time i am so slow. HAHA

Re: Xbox Features 'Steam' Games In New Mockup UI Image From GDC

HonestHick

@TheGameThrifter i am more than aware how consoles make money and lose money. So on that part you are right, heck on all accounts everything you said is correct. But Xbox has been losing massive amounts of players on Xbox gen to gen after 360. If they don’t nail a PC/Console box correctly and it tanks, they are likely out of the hardware game. This is their moment to change for the good or drive a nail in their coffin. Let me give you my insight to it via countless videos and people I trust on the matter.

Xbox is treating this next Xbox MORE like a PC but with plug and play easy to use console features. So right out the gate, it’s not playing by older console rules. Meaning it will be sold for a profit or break even, no more taking a lose as we have even seen with PS this gen. That leads to the elephant in the room STEAM. Steam is the more attractive marketplace to move units, but i believe MS will surrender its shrinking Xbox games store and go all in on Gamepass alongside steam. Now thats not to say you won’t be able to buy games like we do today from Xbox. Here is where none of us know anything, Phil said Steam is our neighbors, they are just up the street from us in an interview. Surely they are having talks. We know Steam wants to keep it’s growth momentum it’s been seeing going, what better way than to cut a deal with MS for 80/20 take and leverage steam and GP as the marketing reasons for choosing this device? Look i ain’t saying that is or isn’t the case. But when you are down to one bullet left to shot for life or death, you go all in on that last shoot. This is Phil’s last chance to put Xbox back in the game. No cards should be left on the table. After all in less than 20 years PC and Cloud will be the last two standing!

Re: Xbox Is Seemingly Hard At Work On Backwards Compatibility For The Next Xbox Consoles

HonestHick

@Coletrain absolutely i mean there is a high likelihood the games will get a lot of PC like sliders to adjust them and make them run to your liking, within a certain range of course. I have seen a few videos saying this Xbox will come in at $700-$800 dollar but will be plenty powerful. So i am excited but to be fair a little nervous too. That is why i am saving some money aside for a PC build. Even if the next Xbox blows it out of the water, i will still enjoy the PC and Xbox both and thats the thing with cross saves and buy once and you have the copy for all devices. I am all about that world. Cause as much as i tried to talk myself into a PS5 Pro and PC, i just can’t do it. I dislike the thumbstick placement so much on Sony controllers, that i would pay thousands to use a Xbox controller on PC and next Xbox. Rambling aside, you seem very smart and if you wanted to learn more coding more i am more than sure you could do it. Even if it was just a hobby or fun for you to learn. 😀

Re: Xbox Series X|S Sales Now Trailing Almost 20% Behind Xbox One In The US

HonestHick

@GamingFan4Lyf Yeah windows for PC gaming is a must. I like windows as a Ui not a Os if that makes sense. Like when issues aren’t in the way of my work laptop i enjoy the layout and use of windows. In some cases i like the way it works better than my personal Mac. But my Mac is so much more faster and reliable and has less clicks to do the same tasks in most cases. MS and Xbox were for sure separate. Now with all the money sent they are one and the same. Which scares me but also means MS wants to be in gaming. Now we just have to see how they can tackle this hardware issue. Cause if they do that, they are well set on software. They are putting out more games now than ever. It’s going to be fun to learn more about their plans.

I also want to save some money aside and built a beast of a PC one day for gaming. Steam is the best thing in gaming and it’s starting to take over. Their numbers are just insane. Funny how 300 people running a non public traded company is ruling gaming. Well done Gabe well done! Haha

Re: Xbox Features 'Steam' Games In New Mockup UI Image From GDC

HonestHick

Phil was asked on Destin’s podcast a few months back if Steam would come to Xbox in the future and Phil just laughed and went to the next question. He never said yes but he sure as heck didn’t say no and the laugh was a yes more on that later vibe. I posted that on here before. I have said before i will eat all 4 of my truck tires if Steam in some way isn’t apart of the Xbox plan. It’s the only way they can get into the PC/Hybrid Console space. There is no way to be part of PC without Steam. Steam is PC gaming at the point.

Re: Xbox Series X|S Sales Now Trailing Almost 20% Behind Xbox One In The US

HonestHick

Simply put MS isn’t and never was a creative company. They allowed Apple to eat their lunch in consumer electronics. Sony to trounce them with PS. Couldn’t keep a mobile phone in a world that the mobile phone is arguably the most used device daily around the world. Surface while nicely made don’t sell. Steam is the leader on PC a non public traded company at that. Only 300 people work at Steam and they are all gamers to the core and they own MS store front. I mean outside of Excel and cloud storage what is MS leading and doing well in? It’s insane they worth 3 trillion because the world thinks it’s tied to windows for business when business’s that switch to higher priced Mac’s have shown to save money long term in Mac’s longer hardware life span and little to no money in software repairs and updates to the likes of windows. Sometimes i look at MS and just ask how? How do you be so bad and yet worth so much. I love the Xbox controller, it’s why i game on Xbox. But outside of that they make some bone headed decisions that is just head scratching. 360 had PS on the ropes here in America. They let them off the hook in the dumbest way possible and will not get that user base back. I will still support Xbox as i have over the last 20 years but gosh dang they make it so hard to like anything they are doing.

Re: Talking Point: Whatever Happened To The Xbox Elite Controller Series 3?

HonestHick

It’s looking like they will wait for the next gen console and make sure it has all the tech inside the box to take advantage of the updated controllers, both standard and Elite. Looking forward to both. I say it all the time i am a huge Xbox guy cause of the controller. It fit’s my hands like a glove and i am to the point i refuse to play on any controller that isn’t off set sticks.

Re: Talking Point: What Should Microsoft Call The '2027' Xbox Console & Handheld?

HonestHick

Xbox Handheld- Xbox Surface Portable
Xbox Console- Xbox Surface

Since they are leaning into PC. Now’s the time to get the surface branding included. However surface isn’t a huge seller. So maybe the name would do more harm than good. Not sure. I do not use windows outside of work. But if i had to or could choose my work laptop i would get a surface. They are well made and have nice features.

Re: Microsoft Shares Updated 'Xbox Play Anywhere' Games List As It Unifies Console & PC

HonestHick

@IOI didn’t day you were a Sony Fanboy, just saying it’s not as if there is this ton of exciting news over there. Remasters of games that look the same. I’ll pass. As for MS and Xbox. Of course i agree with you there are a lot of unknowns at the moment as to what the full pic looks like. But going for what Phil has said and rumors have shown. It’s starting to come together. Xbox is a ecoystem with more than just console, we all know that now. But i do think as PC continues to grow, in fact outselling Console software at the moment. It’s smart for MS to make this pivot. 20 years of just being a console and having only real success sales and mindshare wise with the 360. Now they can ensure all their studios have a baseline spec to code for and that will be the Xbox PC/Console hybrid. Then they can scale from there. So thats a win for the devs. Also until we learn more about what the next console is we don’t know how cool or lame it is. But one thing is already for sure Phil and Sara have said your games on console go with you and we look to preserve Xbox OG titles to the current day Xbox. That includes GTA 6. Xbox has crushed Nintendo and Sony in BC. It’s the one shining link in the armor of Xbox. They aren’t going to launch a console that only plays PC games. I mean speculating that is just not following the bread crumbs of info we have. NOTHING LINKS to that. It’s a spread of fear for no reason. You are entitled to your opinions and where and how you spend your money, i ain’t trying to push you in any direction on that. But we have to wait and see what this new look Xbox looks like. They are taking a Nintendo approach if you will and that is doing something more out of the traditional sense to give themselves mindshare in a market Sony is the house hold name. Even if PS5 5 years in is getting more remasters and canceled games then they are anything worth bragging about. If they blow it most of us leave. But it won’t be cause they kill your library of bought games over 2 years. They have said that repeatedly that those are coming forward.

Re: Microsoft Shares Updated 'Xbox Play Anywhere' Games List As It Unifies Console & PC

HonestHick

@IOI i mean this seems like great value being focused on to the ecosystem to me. Not seeing it as a negative. The next Xbox isn’t going to say you can’t play GTA 6 cause it don’t support play anywhere. But i mean hey if this don’t float your boat, there is always the news on the other website that will hype you on Day’s Gone remaster and even convince you that you can see a difference. Maybe that’s more your cup of tea of news?

Re: Five Things An Xbox Handheld Needs To Include When It Releases

HonestHick

@i hear ya on that. I don’t game on my iPhone at all. No interest. I do play my Switch Oled in bed on rare occasions. Mostly just Mario Kart or something basic to kill 30 mins to an hour. So i am with you. But Xbox handheld should muster up enough sales to make it worthwhile for MS. But never can say. Hardware seems to be an area they are really struggling in. The rest of the Xbox platform is killer in my opinion.

Re: Five Things An Xbox Handheld Needs To Include When It Releases

HonestHick

@Dalamar73 that makes sense i think the last time i seen Steam deck numbers it was like 3.78 million or so. But yeah i do agree with you that the Xbox handheld likely will be fairly niche. I can’t see it exploding to insane sales. If the Switch 2 is fairly good at most games i would want to play on a handheld. I think that would be enough for me. As even when i was a little kid, i never got into handhelds all that much. They were here and there for me. I even owned the PSP and Vita and barely used them. I am excited to see what MS comes up with of course and i am sure the nerd in me will at some point snag on. But it won’t need great battery life for me as gaming on the smaller screens for the type of games i like won’t see much action.

Re: Five Things An Xbox Handheld Needs To Include When It Releases

HonestHick

@Dalamar73 in fairness no one in the history of handhelds has ever been close to Nintendo handheld numbers. Nintendo is simply unbeatable in that area. Has been and likely forever will be.

But Steam Deck is only sitting at a little over 3 million in sales. I think the Xbox handheld can easily out pace that. Not to mention that is the lifetime sales of Steam deck which is what 3 maybe pushing 4 years old at this point.

Re: Gears Of War 2 Remake Art Shared '10 Years' After It Was Cancelled By Xbox

HonestHick

@Fiendish-Beaver first and foremost thank you for your service. It is often times a thankless job that so many people need and rely on. Sorry to hear about your injury. I wish you day’s without pain as much as they are possible my brother.

My sources are the huge channels that do nothing but Gears. They get it right more than wrong let’s just say. Not sure if that is reliable but it’s largely correct. They said no PVP a month to 6 weeks ago and now it’s breaking news. So there’s that in their favor. They also said a slide move is possible and if so that will be in PVP as well as campaign. Giving it a new feeling with movement. Maybe they want that too to be a part of PVP, plus have all players in one spot to buy skins and micro transactions. As for Horde they said they believe it to be there but can’t yet confirm. So i am hopeful they are right. Again this collection is more for younger Xbox fans and of course PC and PS5 to get caught up for E-Day. So even tho it upset me to hear no PVP, i can understand why.

Re: Talking Point: If The Next-Gen Xbox Is More 'PC-Like', Will You Still Buy It?

HonestHick

@shoeses GTA 6 will move a huge chunk of those players on last gen consoles. Now that we are starting to finally get the bigger titles that only run on PS5 and series X. I suspect we will see loads of players coming in. However you could still be right that the Series X and PS5 will still sell well as it’s rumored the next Xbox PC hybrid will be $700-$800 and we know the PS6 will come in fairly high as well if the Pro is anything to go buy. Neither Sony or MS are willing to subsidize the hardware at a loss anymore.

Re: Talking Point: If The Next-Gen Xbox Is More 'PC-Like', Will You Still Buy It?

HonestHick

@Steel76 the console is rumored to boot full windows but not run on it. It will run Xbox Os on a windows kernel, much like it does now for plug and play support. So it’s much cleaner and easy going that what you are thinking with just windows 11 as the dashboard. That i wouldn’t be a fan of and MS knows console players don’t want that. Phil don’t even want that, he said it about the current handhelds on the market.
