The folks over at 8BitDo seem to be constantly putting out new Xbox products at the moment, and the latest is a "Jade" version of the Ultimate 3-mode Controller series that already exists in white and black variants.
The difference with the Jade Xbox Controller is that it's "inspired by the iconic Transparent Green Edition of the original Xbox console", and it's also described as a "perfect companion to the Xbox retro keyboard and mouse":
You'll find some cool features with this thing, including Hall Effect joysticks and Hall Effect impulse triggers, two "Pro" back paddle buttons, a 3-way mode switching button and much more, and it's reasonably priced at just $69.99.
It's also a wireless controller by design, but that sadly doesn't include console - so you can play wirelessly on PC and mobile devices, but Xbox consoles require a wired connection. That's the only downside we can see at first glance.
We'll throw some screenshots down below for the 8Bitdo "Jade" Ultimate 3-Mode Controller, and if you're interested, pre-orders are available now on Amazon with a release date of May 15th, 2025. Alternatively, the black and white versions of the controller are already purchasable right now.

I have couple of the 8bit do controllers. Love them. I give it a 8.9. the hall tec joysticks are amazing. Only the DPad could use a bit more improvement.
I was excited for a second or two, hall effect sticks, wireless and a reasonable price. Then you pulled the rug from under my feet with not wireless on console.
Sigh 😔
I don’t like sticks that aren’t concave. So this is a no for me. I put up with it on Nintendo and PS. But for Xbox since first party controllers have it. I stick to those or elites. That small detail makes a big difference for me. My thumbs never slip off. Convex is just slippery and don’t feel that great to me.
@RiverGenie Yep same here, I was like this is a must buy for me, to meh wired just doesn't work with my current set up! The PowerA Fusion Pro seems to be the only one that ticks all the boxes for me but at £120 is a steep price to pay!
@RiverGenie Absolutely agree. "That's the only downside we can see at first glance." is such a trivial sounding way of pulling the rug, but it's far more than a small trifle.
How are people's room's set up to play Xbox with a wired controller in 2025. I still remember trailing the console into the middle of the room in the 80s and often having to sit on the floor to game with the constant worry someone, or the dogs, would trip on one of the cables and pull the power free, or break something in the process. No thanks
Good option for those of us who emulate all the old Xbox and 360 games that MS won’t/can’t bring to backwards compatibility.
