Now that I think of it, maybe it would be best for the Activision Blizzard deal to not go through. Give it to someone else so we can have choices outside of Sony Nintendo and Microsoft who are all failing at the moment.

@Stocksy It's not about how angry people get. It's why companies do things that make people angry an still support them. I have no sympathy for anyone involved. MS and Sony don't have gamers at interest, it's all about money.

Not that I care about COD but when these exclusives run out I would cut them off entirely. But Microsoft sucks so bad they would probably renew them...

I prepaid until 2024. The problem is I rarely play any Game Pass games I didn't already pay full price for. I'll be letting it lapse mainly due to the fact that I don't use the service. If they are increasing the prices, I want to see better content worth downloading.

I'm pretty sure they just cannot. Sony will just continue to throw money away to disrupt Xbox's growth. Microsoft is becoming a crapshow but Sony's practices are just straight up evil.

Actually lets just stop with the remakes already... I'd rather something new to play than to pay $70 to replay game I've already played many years ago. Nostalgia is being kicked like a dead horse.

Even the reviews that give it higher scores lament on the game in some way. Not a good sign.

Silent Hill 1 was my favorite. I'm more upset they skipped that one and started with SH2.

I don't know who is more evil Sony or Microsoft. This is just crap show from both sides. Gamers are about to just quit on both of them.

The lack of features of what I like most is not present. Mostly the textured triggers at this point. How is that not an option? For this reason it just isn't worth the cost, you can just buy a Series X|S controller with better features, for less.

I'll boycott any $70 game. They'll learn one way or another.

I'm not sure how well it would do if they are looking for nostalgia, the games were fun. I just don't know if it is enough. We need some new games. I'm pretty set with rehashes personally.

@Dezzy70 These people usually aren't hackers. Most of them run scripts someone else made that they find on the web. We used to call these people script kiddies. The person doesn't have to be smart, I'm not saying the person isn't smart. I just highly doubt the person did it by themselves, in such case they would have known how to cover their tracks better.

They need something because Halo Infinite is the biggest Halo disaster yet.

@senote EA does not created quality games, they just make lottery mechanic loot based games. Hopefully at least a gem will come out every couple years now after dodging a some duds. The one gem would be worth it.

I guess they do listen to feedback once and again. Nothing like my house shaking when the volume is up when I turn on the console.

Microsoft is trolling their consumer base. This isn't going to end well. I'll happily be letting my Game Pass lapse and moving elsewhere. Between this Windows 11 and screwing up the XBOX UI, I don't know who they are catering to anymore , but it clearly wasn't me.

Breaking things like they did with Windows 11 seems to be their new marketing slogan. This is the reason why we can't have nice things. They just take them away, just because.

Your rivals chew up your principled path and spits it back at you. Sometimes you have to just just become competitive to compete.

Are we ever going to be able to buy games through the app? We can search for and download them even if we don't own them. Then have to launch the game for the console to tell you that you don't own the game and proceeds to take you to the store. In this process you may have determined you don't want the game if you have to pay for it because it wasn't on Game Pass. Then have to delete the game to make space on your drive that never needed those file to begin with. This is the single biggest issue I have with the Xbox app. It used to work really well. I don't know what the heck Microsoft has been doing lately. Even Windows 11 is a complete disaster.

@abe_hikura The opening for the intake is likely above the disc drive drawing air from the back of the unit which would help keep dust from getting in the system as well. This would also keep dust from getting in the disc area.

I've always never understood the exclusivity argument when inclusivity benefits everyone. We also need more Co-Op and multiplayer PVE games.

@Dezzy70 I have to disagree for one basic somewhat unknown reason. You can easily buy 3 years of Live Gold cheaper than Game Pass and you can convert it all to Game Pass. Just let your current subscription lapse.

Reasons like this are why I ditched Sony years ago. Microsoft isn't innocent but Sony is malicious.

Fixing what isn't broken will just break it. There's nothing wrong with it. Just play games, if you are spending this much time in the dashboard you are doing it wrong.

@Fishticon They may be a bit overpriced, they are still great controllers. I have two Elite controllers and I'm very happy with them. You can remap the buttons, there are short triggers and rear paddles as well if you want. The quality of it is very solid. People buying them aren't getting ripped off, saying someone is gullible for buying one is a stretch.

I think it's great that they are adding this level of poo polish to the game. It must mean the rest of the game is going quite well.

I bought the Series X but didn't want to ruin the poll. 😺
