Re: 2023 Could End Up Being The Biggest Year In Xbox Game Pass History

If true, it's probably simply a byproduct of Push Square having more traffic. Otherwise, I don't see where you come off making such a claim. Did you conduct a peer reviewed study? What was your sample size? I also don't trust your assessment because it seems to me you really enjoy coming into the comments on this site and stirring the pot. Am I wrong here?

Re: Soapbox: Tomb Raider Deserves A 'Resident Evil-Style' Remake

I'm waiting for Anniversary and the other 360 sequels to go on sale to pick up for the Series X. I don't feel as passionately as you do for the remake you are suggesting, but I can see an argument for it and would probably play it. Looking forward to the future of the franchise for sure though.

Ah yeah, I definitely agree. These types of games are so much about discovery for me. Give me unique amazing places to explore. Likewise I hope Outer Worlds 2 is more ambitious.

Hopefully Obsidian has been able to expand under Microsoft, because it seems like they are working on a lot. Avowed, Outer Worlds 2, Grounded, Josh Sawyer's 16th century European game. Pre-production on Fallout New Vegas 2?

It did still sell very well, but didn't they miss their forecast of copies sold by a lot? I know people commenting on game sites are a vocal minority, so it will be interesting to see how their next game performs. I will be staying far away as I still feel the burning disappointment from my experience with the game. I do hope they redeem themselves, but even if they do I will be waiting for a deep discount.

Re: Review: Alan Wake Remastered - Remedy’s Cult Classic Still Holds Up

Yeah, it probably really has to do with the benefit of nostalgia as their review mentions. I never played Uncharted until the collection with my PS4. I found that first game especially ROUGH, and the subsequent games ok. A lot of people seem to criticize the combat in those games as well. Maybe if the reviewer hadn't played the original PS3 versions, and had the nostalgia for them, he wouldn't have scored the collection a 9.

Also, I find it interesting that it seems with any game that the combat is often one of the first points of criticism. Is there a game with universally loved combat? I found the combat in the Witcher 3 fine, and others act like it sh*t in their cornflakes. 🤷

Re: Feature: Our Most Anticipated Games From E3 2021

Akimi

Seems a bit silly to exclude games that didn't have official E3 branding. Just change the headline to most anticipated from all press conferences around E3, and then throw up whatever you like. Others are lumping in Elden Ring with E3.
