Honestly most excited for Space Marine 2 and surprised by Arc Raiders.
Hellblade was the best thing about the show..
Highlights for me were, Sonic Frontier, Arc Raiders, a plague tale requiem, slitterhead and horizon forbidden West.
Also glad to see telltale back in action
Hellblade, CrossfireX, Alan Wake 2 and A Plague Tale Requiem were the stars of the show for me. 2022 is going to be big.
2022 going to be one hell of a year.
Still no window on Hellblade 2, hope itβs aiming 2023 and not 2024.
that Horizon Forbidden West (PS) is giving a serious BOTW vibe.
I loved space marine, but a bit frustrating the original canβt be replayed on the series x with no BC
I foresee plenty of game delays in our immediate future π€¦π½ββοΈπ ππ
Honestly there were some jaw on the flaw moments in Hellblade, Star Wars: Eclipse, A plague tale 2 and The Matrix. A generational leap forward in graphics. At times I couldn't tell if it was a movie.
Other games like Evil West, Planet of Lana, Alan Wake 2, Suicide Squad gameplay (finally) also impressed.
Love the orchestra and Josef Fares (lol). Lots of dross inbetween but it was worth watching for me despite the timings. It would be better if Geoff didn't over-hype it beforehand.
No date on Hellblade and the combat looking basic were two disappointments. But it looked pretty, so that was neat.
I haven't watched it but it seems that it has impressed you. I really hope that Sega are able to not ruin the new Sonic game with a horrible camera or dodgy controls.
As someone that won't dedicate the time to watching awards shows, I really appreciate these recap articles.
