We highlighted the existence of a Gucci and Xbox Series X collaboration a few weeks ago, which costs a whopping $10,000, and popular streamer Ninja took to social media earlier this week to show it off in person.
There are reportedly only 100 versions of this console in existence, and it comes complete with two custom controllers and a stylish carrying case. We're not exactly sure it's worth the ridiculous price tag though... we called it an "eyesore" when we first got a glimpse at it back in mid-November.
Even if you do have a spare $10,000 lying around, you're unfortunately out of luck as the console is sold out on the official Gucci website — at least for now. Based on that knowledge, it seems to have been a hit!
Here are some details about the package:
"Xbox and Gucci's first collaboration takes the House's beginnings in the world of sports and leisure to the next level with 100 numbered Xbox Series X consoles—reimagined through archival details."
"An evolution of the original Gucci Rhombi design from the '30s, the GG pattern [on the Xbox Series X] becomes a wordplay—not only representing Guccio Gucci's initials but also the gaming phrase 'Good Game.'"

People with money want their Xbox to look like an old mans socks.
I got mine in Game no fancy packaging just a console - couldn’t be happier.
This is how the rich get richer; once you have a fortune, everyone is falling over themselves to give you expensive stuff for free meaning you no longer need to spend any of your fortune. Me, on the other hand, I live in my overdraft, and the only things I get for free are the bills that arrive every month without fail!
I guess I'm indeed getting old: this guy sounds/looks so out of touch and childish... but apparently he's a big deal with kids nowadays. *****, back in the day Van Damme, Stallone and Schwarzenegger were our guys (each one sillier than the previous one, but still...). Weird times we live in, indeed! Somebody please help me to cross the street X)
Who's Ninja? I think you mean Tyler Blevins and there's nothing ninja about him.
Lame IMO, both the product connection and the personality promoting it. Rich get richer, damn right.
@jorel262 Precisely. Somebody more legitimate would resonate much more with fans. And also, these "deluxe products" are just tacky as hell.
Oh wow an elite privileged overpaid gamer gets an elite privileged overpriced console package for free! How relatable!
@2chanaddict I'm "old" too but remember the wisdom from the 80s: "Wars to do not make one great."
Wonder how much scalpers will get for that bad boy?
I'm holding out for the $20 Gucci skin!
@CaptnDave Agreed, friend. I guess it's just my nostalgia kicking in! And also, I'm so old school that I don't even play multi-player games - so these so called "creators/fortniters (I guess I've just invented a word)" are just plain weird to me.
Wow that is ugly, and such a strange collaboration between luxury brand + functional tech item. Xbox is now considered just a fashion accessory because purpose is useless?
Gucci are so out of touch with quality design that they slap pattern on mass produced tech trash?
I feel sorry for/sadness for those who think this is good/quality design/desirable...
