@themightyant everything may be going up, but there is a limit on what people feel is acceptable and 70 is really pushing that. it is becoming an ever increasing expensive hobby especially with dlc etc. it is going to push people away.

Sony and MS are poor for doing it when making good profits. MS more so for doing it now they have games.

its a worrying trend. Factorio, a 6yr old game has announced a $5 Increase because inflation. yet costs now must be much lower

after a rough January... lay offs, poor PR, silence on GP, 3rd best selling console even in US.

this showcase is their chance to bring it back to games and generate some excitement. hopefully too its proper vids not cgi. think they need to give info on some 24 release, just some names

the games added are good so no complaints.

but it feels light because everyone keeps lauding GP for smaller titles, and currently none are about. yet a decent chunk has left (questions on their quality)

when MS own 20+ studios and games are trickling out, delayed, issues etc. that is down to poor management. be it heads of studios. it is Phil and his team who over look all of it.

i will give him his due, he knows how to work the media, and too many here dont like a bad word against saint Phil.

that aside i think gamers are getting fed up in general, be it live service, mtx, delays, products releasing unfinished/poor state. alot of good will is going to be lost, MS need to nail their big 3. Hopefully the bethesda ones arent their usual bugfest

@Kaloudz employees do what the management decide. so primarily it is a management issue. could the employees do a better job? perhaps, but its harder to do that with bad management. something that gets mentioned about xbox studios regularly.

@NEStalgia because most tvs are smart tvs, running an extra device to watch tv is inefficient and more costly in times of ever increasing prices. (of course if it is your only way thats different)

im going to use GP to get used to monsters builds etc. most of endgame will be in sunbreak anyway, so can run through original part. stupid i know, but ill spend so many hours on it i wont notice. plus as so many want it they may add cross save around sunbreak

had over a thousand hours in world.

shame no sunbreak, so ill play MHRise on the S, then most likely restart with sunbreak on ps5

abk and investors want money. they dont care where it comes from, sure they will want more from Sony but as CoD sells more on PS so abk will need that money.

I guarantee with full confidence once MS sort their studios out, less time will be spent playing indies. apart from the odd stand out.

thats the issue for the indies because recently people have had more time to try them, but that engagement will drop from people who dont frequent these sites

8/9mil more ps5 sold.... 40/45% more, while they had stock issues, xbox freely available, xbox with reductions, PS with rises.

They will close the gap by the end but wont surpass them this gen.

people do not sub to GP because of them. subs come from AAA, and when MS drop them regular, indies will get lost in there

im sure there was an article on pushsquare (reporting on uk console sales) and PS (uk) was 60/40. so i guess phones skew it as ninty must do a decent physical amount, with kids and CEX has plenty always.

Xbox tho, yeah barely see much physical.
