I don’t think MS acquiring Activision will harm sales for Playstation at all. I think the majority of console gamers will still play on Playstation. Games always sell millions more on Playstation. 80% of Hogwarts sales were on Playstation.

There’s a few decent ones but nothing incredible. Assassin’s Creed are decent, Far Cry are decent, Riders Republic is ok. I won’t be subscribing. Comparing the quantity of games to Game Pass or PS+ this should be about £3 a month!!

@Reaper4993 hardly the same. Sony buy little known devs an nurture an invest an turn them in to AAA devs. Naughty Dog for instance made games for Apple 2 wen Sony bought them. Microsoft simply buy already huge, established dev an just keep makin the same game but make them exclusive.

Do the cars handle similar to Dirt 5 rally races? I’m not bad at that.

My missus bought it me for PS5 for my bday, it’s fantastic. Not played it since PS2 days.

Dead Island 2 looks fantastic. Never played Dead Island.

If it’s about £12 a year i’ll get it, more than that an it aint worth it. Game Pass an PS+ Extra have hundreds of games, this has 60. Needs to be priced accordingly.

@JayJ i played it on release on PS5. It is hard but still enjoyable. It doesn’t anger ya like Soul’s games. It’s not the actual gameplay that makes it hard, it’s the age thing wen ya die.

@JayJ they added an easy mode on PS5. Not sure if this version has it.

@Dan1283 there’s a bit of a difference. Sony bought devs and made exclusive games. Microsoft bought devs an turned games that were already in production in to exclusives. Sony made The Last of Us for instance, Microsoft bought Redfall an Starfield.

@FenIsMightier there is a huge difference in paying for timed exclusives and buying one of the biggest selling games on the planet an making that exclusive. I’m not saying i’m against Microsoft buying Activision, i do think CoD should remain on all systems indefinitely tho. I just wish Microsoft would improve the devs they acquire an bring new, mind blowing games like Sony do. Microsoft buy devs, continue to make the same games and make them exclusive. They’re kind of trying to buy themselves to the top, Xbox is becoming the Manchester City of video game world.

The Atari 2600 were the first to do it, Nintendo did it, Playstation 1 did it, when 360 an PS3 were pretty level peggings in sales both Xbox an Playstation did it. People talk as tho Sony invented doing this an they’re the only ones who’ve ever done it.

@Chaotic_Goat yeah i agree but like i said, if Microsoft don’t release games then Game Pass isn’t as good. Hopefully every game listed to release this year will an the likes of Starfield an Redfall will live up to expectations.

@Chaotic_Goat they haven’t released anything tho!! 2 exclusives in 2 years!! I’ve said this, Game Pass is great but it’s main selling point is day 1 exclusives. If they don’t release anything they lose that. PS+ has more AAA games an better games too. Plenty of amazing exclusives on there, just not day 1. If Xbox get their ***** together an hit their release days an if certain games live up to the hype then they may be number 1 again for sub service. For me, at the mo, PS+ is better.

This does actually look pretty good. Love games like this, The Last of Us 1 an 2 are the greatest games ever made. Days Gone is another that’s fantastic. If this is as good as Days gone it’ll be great. Can’t see it rivalling TLOU.

Never played Forza Motorsport. If it’s at least as good as Gran Turismo 7 it’ll be great.

I have a niggling feeling we won’t see any Xbox AAA exclusives for a long time! We’ve now been told Starfield, Redfall an Forza MS will release 1st qtr 2023. That’s in the next 12 weeks an we’ve seen or heard nothing!!! We’ll prob be lucky to have them before Xmas 2023!! Playstation is already way ahead, in the next 12 months they could be well out of sight!!!

I don’t get the hype with Elden Ring??? I mean it’s very good but not even close to one of my favs. I much prefer the Demon’s Souls remake on PS5. It’s way more fun and it looks far better too. I love some of the sim games on Game Pass, House Flipper is excellent!!! Lawnmower Simulator is another one i enjoyed, it’s so therapeutic to play.

I don’t understand how so many people like this game!!??? Road 96 is absolute dog *****!! Not a game at all. A cartoon that prompts ya to press a button every now an then. I remember my mate had Dragon’s Lair on the Phillips CDI some 30 years ago, that was the same. Looked good but boring!

Watched the Digitsl Foundry vid comparing the Series X an PS5 versions of the game an i must say the difference is quite substantial!! Not sure what’s gone wrong with the Xbox version, it’s like comparing a standard Xbox One to a PC!!

Just read that Sony loaned 150 staff to help work on this. This fills me with confidence that this game will be A*!!!

I’d be far more confident if it was a Playstation exclusive. Sony devs smash it out the park every single time!! It does sound promising tho so i live in hope!!

Do ya know Grand Theft auto was originally gonna be called Race n Chase. In it you played a police officer chasing bad guys. The office cleaner made an off the cuff comment that it’d be more fun to play as the bad guy! Hence GTA was born.

A guy who calls himself Banjo, he comments a lot an every other comment is pulling Playstation or slagging Playstation, even wen the article doesn’t even mention Sony or Playstation!! I eventually pulled him, asked him why Playstation lives in his head rent free?? Well that was it!! He attacked!! Calling me a pony an wat not. I told him i have both PS5 an XSX an Switch too. He went on telling me how crap PS5 is. I told him i actually prefer PS5 as the exclusives are on another level. He accused me of having a mental illness!!
