My Favourite game is Assassin's Creed Odyssey
Odyssey, Valhalla, & Far Cry 5 are my favorite Ubisoft games.
I purchased all three during the perpetual Ubisoft sales for (probably) $12 or $15 each.
That's all three games (hundreds of hours of entertainment) for under $45.
Having had that experience, I have zero interest in subscribing to their new program. To each their own with their spending habits, but personally I always wait on Ubi games due to their discounts coming early and often.
Personally I loved Assassins Creed Syndicate, played it on the PS4 and should give it a full play through on the Xbox since I bought it for dirt cheap on a sale.
I wish this was a franchise vote, though. Assassins Creed is simply my favorite IP despite all they don’t to change it into The Witcher 3.
Also enjoy Far Cry very much since the third entry, with 4 likely being my favorite. (Another one I got to replay on and perhaps get all achievements on Xbox some day.)
@Kaloudz I feel Ezio was overrated. Yea, I said it! Do got to say at the time, those were some of the best games ever made, IMO, and the collection packs a lot of value for its price. Unlocking all achievements on that collection was one hell of a treat.
Loving the niche love for Far Cry Primal. Tough decision but that's what I went with ultimately.
South Park 1 - 2, I hope a new one soon.
Valiant Hearts
FC Primal
AC Odyssey
@MrConstantina Not sure if you know or not, but Trey Parker and Matt Stone opened a game studio a little while back. It'll surely take a while to get a game out the door, but by all accounts it looks like they're making a new one.
@Kaloudz You spelled Kassandra wrong 😉
@SplooshDmg Great news, now we just have to wait.
Thanks for the information 😃
@Kaloudz glad you think Altaïr is the best like me👍
Child of Light for me. A very well made game. It’s a shame they don’t make games like that anymore.
Ezio Collection. The AC games - and by extension, most Ubi open world games - have been on a downward trend since then in my opinion. Should never have turned it into an almost yearly franchise and instead focus on quality, not quantity. Also Rayman Legends was beautiful.
I can't decide on just one. Assassin's Creed: Origins, Immortals Fenyx Rising and The Division 2.
@Kaloudz 😂👍 very good. In all seriousness the first one i adored really enjoyed it and everything about it. Then brotherhood. Mind you i also thought Unity was a fabulous game
Easily Rayman Legends as it is probably the best 2d platformer ever made. Apart from that I only care about south park. The rest bores me to death
It was between The Division 2 and Unity, went with Unity. Also playing Odyssey again at the moment and was tempted to go for that as well.
Family Feud… maybe…
AC: Enzio Collection, I mean.
Essentially all of my favorite Ubisoft games are from the 360 era. Far Cry 3, Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas (1 and 2), Assassins Creed 1 and 2, the older Trials games, Rayman Origins, it's basically when they were doing all their best work.
I did like Valiant hearts, so went for that one
It would have to be Farcry 3 for me, although I did enjoy a lot of the other titles too.
It seemed only fair to judge them based on the time they released, rather than comparing 2 games with an entire generation between them.. My main concerns with any ubi title are usually story, and environment - as they usually make the difference between enjoying the whole game as opposed to only enjoying the first half (AC Odyssey for example)
From what I remember Farcry 3 had a compelling story that hadn't yet been done to death, and with the addition of Vas (probably my favourite voice actor/antagonist in any game) this stands out as a clear favourite of mine. Though it doesn't hold up as well to more modern titles, at the time of its release it was a very strong entry for me, whilst ubi games since then have felt more par for the course, less impressive, and more of a repeat of what we've already had before it.
@JayJ Very much how I feel too, there was that window where ubi games really nailed the formula, but since then they've just been too complacent and too reliant on that previous success to really innovate on any of the titles they made since.
Child of Light, The Division 2, and Trials Rising.
Only game I fully finished basically everything in this list is AC:Origins - inc all the DLC - so I voted for that. I did finish others - like Far Cry 5 or AC: Valhalla - but I got bored during the DLC phase and either never finished or even played every DLC pack so I couldn't vote for those.
Some I would never play anyway and some I never really enjoyed enough to keep playing and some are 'impossible' to finish (unless you are really dedicated) even if they are 'fun' for a while (Trials) but in general, there isn't many I could vote for if the metric is games I enjoyed enough to play all the way through...
far cry 3 is the GOAT
AC2 is the GOAT
both franchises hit there peak with those
Rider’s Republic is really fun and picked that.
But I do enjoy some of the Assassins Creed titles (Ezio trilogy, Black Flag, Odyssey).
Also Rayman Legends and Origins are bangers.
I’m currently trying Far Cry 5 as my first Far Cry game… I played a small bit of Primal but not enough to know what the series is.
Rayman Legends and South Park stick of Truth is all I've played from these games, is this the full list for the service?
@MrConstantina @Stamnoso Valiant Hearts for the win!
Child of Light!
@Kaloudz i think we can agree we have excellent taste😂👍
Ive not played the last three AC games, the size puts me off from a time perspective. Currently trying to get through as many games as i can👍
I think the AC series peaked for me with Black Flag. Sea Shanties trump everything else!
Enjoyed odessey too and still intend to go back to mythios and finish the dlc.
The Trials games are also all realy good fun.
AC: Odyssey. No contest.
There’s a few decent ones but nothing incredible. Assassin’s Creed are decent, Far Cry are decent, Riders Republic is ok. I won’t be subscribing. Comparing the quantity of games to Game Pass or PS+ this should be about £3 a month!!
That's hard. I can't choose one. I love Watch Dogs and Far Cry.
South Park games, by far.
I own most of the games on the Ubisoft list, they didn't really add any long lost gems or wait to launch it alongside a day one release of theirs so this overpriced service is not for me.
Assassin’s Creed 3 or Ghost Recon Wildlands for me. Both good open world games with lots of content.
South Park and Rayman… I really don’t care about Ubisoft games at all except for those two series
I went with Assassin’s Creed Origins.
I love the Egyptian setting.
It is just so different and unique. I have never experienced anything else quite like it. “Origins” inspired me to read a lot of history books, and I am impressed by how accurate their version of Egypt actually is.
If I had been able to choose more than one title, I would add the original Watch Dogs game. Despite it being unrelentingly grim and miserable.
And Ghost Recon Wildlands, too.
Odyssey. Absolutely loved that game and I must have put about 200 hours into it, all dlc complete too. Played it during Lockdown. Brilliant game. Also like Far Cry 5. Another strong offering. But like a poster says above I've got all the AC games, All the Far Cry games and all the watch dogs games so I feel no need to sub to it
@MrConstantina valient hearts is awesome
Valiant hearts is a brilliant game
I went with The Division 2. Progression and upgrading is never ending, I love experimenting with the weapons and build, and it looks stunning.
I'm not big on Ubi Soft. Ive played a little Watch Dogs and Assassins Creed here and there. Im pretty indifferent mostly. I will say that the old school Rayman is one of my favorite platformers ever.
