@redd214 Having previously worked at GAME, I've seen it all, trust me Plenty of kids get their grubby hands on PS4s and Xbox Ones, it's never a pretty sight.

All joking aside, that stand for the PS5 is absurd... Such a needlessly elaborate design purely to accommodate the weird curvature of the console. I don't get it.

Imagine trying to trade that console into a store, but you've misplaced the screw. Or, heaven forbid, broken the stand entirely. Not good...

The design of the PS5 has definitely grown on me over time, but man it's a beefy boy... I'll be holding off on getting one until they come out with a black model or a slim model, whichever comes first.

I’m getting hyped for Watch Dogs: Legion now, so I’ve gone back to play Watch Dogs 2 again since it was on sale. It’s such a fun open world game!

I'm giving Destiny 2 a shot, and it's pretty good so far! I've also taken advantage of the Rockstar sale and bought GTA IV. That game still holds up today, and I've always preferred the story to GTA V!

It could still be any type of game really. I mean, if you look at the kid's face, he could very well be traumatizing her with some P.T type game!

I think my point is that Microsoft have been so aggressive and pro-consumer with their marketing for the Series X/S, they've more than compensated for the lack of Halo Infinite. You only need to have a flick through Twitter to see just how hyped people are for these machines.

I'm sure it will be worth the wait. The good news is Microsoft no longer need to rely on Halo's presence for the Series X/S launch. Take your time with it, 343, make it legendary.

I doubt I'll be getting one, I've got no issue managing my installed games and uninstalling where necessary.

@AlexSora89 I disagree, I think all consoles would have sold out quickly regardless of circumstances. It doesn't really matter which company has 'the edge', as such, you'll always get hardcore communities snapping up the consoles as soon as they're available to pre-order.

I got the Series X through Amazon, but man, it was stressful! For a good 5 minutes or so, there was no page for the Series X whatsoever. Eventually it appeared, but you couldn't access it without seeing an error message. It was only until about 8:15 that I managed to add it to my basket and order it. I didn't even attempt GAME or Smyths, that just looked like a catastrophe.

Managed to nab the Series X from Amazon UK - it was touch and go for a little while, but they came through in the end!

Hotshot Racing is excellent, so I've been playing quite a bit of that! Also downloaded Nier: Automata, which I plan on starting today.

I think journalists are really up against it when it comes to reporting on the games industry. Publishers and devs are notoriously secretive, and for something like the Ubisoft scandal to become news, it's more often than not down to an employee deciding to speak out on their own terms.

I personally hate leaks, and would rather it not happen at all. But are publishers really so surprised when it does happen? If they weren't so secretive all the time, it wouldn't be such a problem.

Still unsure where to pre-order from, personally... I think GAME and Smyths are the only places you can utilise the All Access programme in the UK. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

The difference between this launch and the 2013 Xbox One launch is astonishing. They really deserve for this to be successful.

In terms of gameplay, MGSV is phenomenal, but there was so much wasted potential with the plot. I must say though, I do still go back to it occasionally and play through a few missions.

I feel like Phil's going to come out one day and just be like, "guys, we announced this months ago... You must have missed it".

I ended up purchasing the Metal Gear Solid collection, making this the 4th or 5th time I've bought those damn games haha.

This is great! Not sure how much influence he'll actually have this deep into development, but he's probably the best person to bring in. Makes you wonder just how far off the game is now...
