Re: Trademark Renewal Sparks Hope For A New The Evil Within Game

@Alan_Payne I actually feel the exact opposite! I thought the sequel was just the right amount of open world; large enough to encourage exploration, but no where near big enough that it felt bloated and dull.
I'd encourage you to try it again, if you haven't already, because it didn't quite click with me first time. Now, I think it's leaps and bounds ahead of the first game.

Whether a game is considered scary or not is entirely subjective. Roaming around the Baker Mansion while Jack calls out to Ethan in a high-pitched tone of voice was honestly quite funny to me, not scary.

On the flip side, I played the RE: Village demo (after telling myself not to), and having those Lycans stalk you through the long grass was nerve-wracking!

@The_New_Butler I think you're right, but I don't think it will go down that way. It comes down to optics; they could release both at the same time and ride a wave of positivity for a few weeks, but what happens then? After 2 or 3 months, people will be clamouring for new games again. My personal opinion is they should release their 2021 games one month apart each: Forza, Halo, then Starfield.

If they're aiming to launch this year, they need to be really careful with the timing of both Halo Infinite and Starfield.

My guess is Halo is coming out in November, so they'd want to either get well ahead of that and launch Starfield in late September or early October, or they wait until December.

Launching both in November would be a mistake, in my eyes.
