I bought MGS5 in the sale, so I'll be playing through that. It's been a minute since I last played either Ground Zeroes or Phantom Pain, so hopefully it'll feel relatively fresh!
It's hard for me to say "this is bad" when you consider the value you're getting with GamePass. Like, I'm not upset or anything. It just is what it is.
Although it wasn't mine, I always used to play the original Resident Evil on my brother's PS1 (I think I still had a Mega Drive at the time). So my earliest memory is undoubtedly the first zombie encounter, and the brief cutscene that came with it.
I feel like people will just continue to call it Xbox Live. The name is synonymous with Xbox in the same way PSN is with PlayStation, or eShop with Nintendo.
343 have a great eye for visual design. Some of it has been a bit over-the-top in the past, but these maps look beautiful. I just hope they play well: that's the main thing.
I've gone back to Assassin's Creed Origins, and I've also recently been attempting some Silent Assassin, Suit Only runs in Hitman 3 (with little success so far...), so I'll be carrying on with that this weekend.
I'd still like to see a remake of Metal Gear, with Venom Snake meeting a young Solid Snake. Remember when everyone was convinced this was how The Phantom Pain would end..? Wow.
The influence was obvious from the start; the village setting, the merchant, the item management... It's good to see, and I'm looking forward to playing it!
Very disappointing comments, if not entirely surprising. PureXbox, like many other gaming sites, post news articles on the gaming industry. This includes, but is not limited to, game announcements, development updates, company practices, and yes, the people.
As for Kate sharing this publicly, that's her choice, but it's an incredibly brave and necessary choice nonetheless; I commend her for it.
The support from her peers and the majority of the general public is lovely to see. On the slip side, some of the comments I've seen on Twitter are absolutely heartbreaking and really show how far we still need to go.
I get why the N. Sane Trilogy is winning, nostalgia and all that... But Crash 4: It's About Time is quite comfortably the best in the series for me. It's not even close, to be honest.
I've just started my journey with the Yakuza series (Yakuza 0), and I'm really enjoying it so far. I'll certainly be looking into this when it launches!

Re: Watch Dogs: Legion Is Adding A 60FPS Mode For Xbox Series X
This is cool, but I wonder if enabling 60fps will also disable the ray-tracing..? I'd personally prefer 60fps, but obviously both would be ideal!
Re: Sorry Folks, You're Going To Have To Wait A Little Longer For The Resident Evil Movie Reboot
I'd be lying if I said I was counting down the days.
Re: Rumour: Alan Wake 2 Is In Development With Remedy And Epic Games
I've wanted a sequel to Alan Wake for years. Will be keeping a close eye on this in the coming months!
Re: Poll: Are You Happy With April 2021's Xbox Games With Gold?
It's hard for me to say "this is bad" when you consider the value you're getting with GamePass. Like, I'm not upset or anything. It just is what it is.
Re: Pick One: Which Of These Classic Lord Of The Rings Games Was Your Favourite?
I'm afraid I've not played any of those I'm a massive fan of LotR, but somehow most of the games have fallen under my radar.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (March 27th)
I'll be giving Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit a go, and I've also re-downloaded Metal Gear Solid: HD Collection.
Re: Microsoft Unveils Two Brand-New Xbox Series X Controllers
I like these. Yes, I like them very much!
Re: Years After Release, Resident Evil 7 Is Still Shipping Over One Million Copies Every Year
@Flurbdurb, the way your headline says "years after release" made me feel exceptionally old, so thanks for that!

I feel like people will just continue to call it Xbox Live. The name is synonymous with Xbox in the same way PSN is with PlayStation, or eShop with Nintendo.
Re: Resident Evil Showcase Returns Next Month With Some 'Surprises'
Interesting. I'm honestly not sure what they'll show this time. Although a trailer for the new movie reboot seems like a no-brainer.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (March 20th)
I'm playing a wee bit of The Outer Worlds.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (March 13th)

Re: Soapbox: Now That It's On Xbox Game Pass, Please Try The Evil Within
The Evil Within a great game, but it certainly shows its age now. Still well worth playing, and the sequel is just sublime.
Re: Xbox Will Deliver Exclusive Bethesda Games 'Where Game Pass Exists'
I've said this from the start. Game Pass is the key, and you don't spend that much money on an acquisition like this without making some bold changes.
Re: Xbox Game Pass Is Getting More Bethesda Games Later This Week
The Evil Within 2 would be great; I hear that game is super smooth on the Series X.

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (Feb 27th)
Dirt 5, without a doubt. I've also gone back to Assassin's Creed Unity which, after nearly 7 years, is still the best looking game in the series.
Re: Halo Infinite's Grappleshot Opens Up The Game In A Major Way
This is really interesting, and could open up encounters in the same way The Phantom Pain did for Metal Gear Solid. Can't wait!
Re: Wait, Did THQ Nordic Secretly Announce A Destroy All Humans 2 Remake?
Nice! Destroy All Humans is such a fun little game.
Re: Random: The Big Question, Is Phil Spencer Hiding New Xbox Secrets On His Shelves?
He must be aware of how blatant the placement of that Ludens statue is. He's either teasing something, or... well, just being mean, quite frankly.
Re: Deals: All 20+ Games In This Week's Huge Xbox Assassin's Creed Sale
I bought Assassin's Creed Syndicate. Massively underrated entry to the series, in my opinion.
Re: Poll: How Full Is Your Xbox Series X|S Internal Storage?
I ran out of space on the first day! I have a few games that will never be deleted, but the rest are rotated on a regular basis.
Re: Xbox Series X 'FPS Boosts' Will Focus On Xbox One Games For Now
Assassin's Creed Origins could do with a wee boost.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (Feb 20th)

I don't need it, I don't need it, I don't need it.

Re: EU To Decide On Microsoft's Acquisition Of ZeniMax Media By March
Acquisition Rejected.

Sorry haha.

So, E3 time then (or whatever will likely replace E3 again this year).
