I’ve finished the campaign in Halo 1 this past week from the Master Chief Collection and while the levels were kind of similar (I understand it’s old!) I found myself enjoying it. The amount of work they put into it to update it was truly awesome- I liked flipping through original and improved to see the difference. Since I’ve never played the original I can’t say how gameplay was changed but it was good (except the car! I can’t even say how many times I had to go through the last bit driving that car!).
Needless to say I’ll be continuing with Halo 2😁.
I’d like to say I’ll check out the Gamepass games that are leaving soon but I don’t know if I will pull myself away.
I’ve also got Paper Mario Origami King going on the side which is also very good!

Kingdom Come Deliverance was on my play list but It looks like a long game so I might be better off buying it. Also interested in Yoku so I guess I have some work to do!

Hmm.. I don’t really care either way. I can’t say that I’ve played one of the gold games I’ve downloaded yet but I did get a couple Shantae games a few(?) months ago. So while I’m not interested in the bulk of the games they offer it’s still nice sometimes.
I’m a Gamepass ultimate subscriber- the online is built into the subscription so that being free doesn’t entice me since I’m paid up through January and periodically they have some good Gamepass discounts through retailers.
I can’t imagine that Microsoft will lower the cost of Gamepass Ultimate if multiplayer goes free but rather find something else to include/ bonus- I think the price point is in a sweet spot.

If I can put my Xbox one discs in the new console that would be a big factor in upgrading my current Xbox. Since I have a One S I know some of the new games coming out Are just not going to be as good on it. I typically trade in my old console so if I can take my games with me it makes me happy. I find it interesting that he mentioned controllers because I was wondering about that.

This was on my Switch wishlist but since I’ve already subscribed to Gamepass I’ll play it there. There’s been a few instance of this for me!

I’ve since played through Deliver Us the Moon and The Wolf Among Us this past week so I’m a bit in between games right now. I started up Westerado: Double Barreled via Gamepass but I think I want something more involved. It’s probably a good time to try out the new demos I’ve installed lol.

So I suppose I’ll be putting some time into Paper Mario while I figure out my next Xbox adventure. I was thinking maybe trying out Halo or starting the Star Wars Fallen Jedi. Should I just start with the 1st Halo game?

@Dpullam The Outer Worlds was an awesome game to me! Definitely a great Gamepass addition! I’m excited about the incoming dlc so I can jump back on.

Well I finished my glorious play through of The Outer Worlds- so much fun! I highly recommend if you haven’t played it!

Just Started playing Deliver Us the Moon which is interesting so far.

Also started playing Overcooked which I picked up on sale recently- it’s definitely a downgrade after playing Overcooked 2 and I notice and miss all the nice features/ improvements they added in the second. Fun but This is a case where the sequel shines so much more.

@FraserG Thanks for clearing that up! I’ll probably end up waiting until the full release then- especially seeing how many fantastic games have been added to Gamepass lately.

What does the Grounded game preview mean? Is it like a demo? I’m pretty excited for that game!

For anyone who hasn’t played Rime yet- it’s worth a play. I enjoyed the game on Switch despite some technical issues so I would imagine it would play better on Xbox.

@ThePrettySenshi I have a One S and there’s still some performance issues. Still a great game though.

A new Tomb Raider would have me buying a new Xbox..

I think I died around 721 times... there would be no point for me to even try for no deaths! 😂

I haven’t played Stardew in awhile- time works funny when I play it. I hate just starting a game and discovering hours have disappeared in a blink 😅

I may try out Hitman 2 if I can tear myself away from Outer Worlds.

@FraserG Stardew Valley is so much fun- can’t go wrong with trying it for free!

I’ll be playing some more Outer Worlds. I’m really enjoying it so far- the dialogue and humor are great!
I’m also playing Borderlands and Clubhouse Games 51 on Switch right now.
I’d like to give the new season of Fortnite a try as well so maybe I’ll login again- such a slippery slope... that game is addicting!

I preordered Outer Worlds on Switch but after all the reviews I think I’m going to send it back and play it on Gamepass. It’s just easier to get through games playing handheld for some reason 🤷🏻‍♀️ So I’ll be starting that up.
Also continue with Minecraft Dungeons- I finished the game on default and am having a hard time playing on adventure mode 😅 I don’t find this game easy!

There’s some good suggestions here! I would recommend Rime, Wandersong, and The Gardens Between.
Also A Plague Tale is probably one of my favorite games I’ve played this past year- I picked it up before it came to Gamepass and thought it was a great value!

I started Minecraft Dungeons thinking I would just play with my nephew but it’s turned out to be quite addictive! I’m having a hard time beating the boss the first time around which is proving frustrating. Also been playing Golf with your Friends.
I’ll also be playing some Borderlands on Switch.

I finished up Ori Will of the Wisps this week which was really great. I was a bit underwhelmed at first since it seemed like the first one a bit too much but once I headed for wisps it started to feel like it’s own game.
I started playing Minecraft Dungeons this weekend which is a lot of fun! I never liked how dark Diablo is so this is perfect for me.
Also played a few matches of Golf With Your Friends- also so much fun!

Finished up Old Man’s Journey and Brothers ( fantastic!) before they left Gamepass so now I’m continuing my journey Ori: Will of the Wisps. Just finished beating the spider and have two more wisps to collect. I’ve quickly come to the conclusion that I will not be achieving 100% in this game and will not be getting all the achievements 😅.

I played Streets of Rage 4 with my nephew the other day and had a surprising amount of fun playing with him so I decided to download it from Gamepass (seriously the value!). I’m curious to see if playing solo has the same magic.

Also will be representing #teamketchup in this Splatfest! Here’s hoping for redemption!

I wish there was more about gameplay but color me intrigued.

Finished Rise of the Tomb Raider ( still have score attack/ endurance mode achievements) but I’m taking a break from that. Also finished up Game of Thrones Telltale series. Now I’ve started the new Ori, Tony Hawk 5, and Old Man’s Journey (before it leaves Gamepass).

Since I have Brothers and Old Man’s Journey on my playlist I’ll make sure to play those before they leave- luckily they are both short and it shouldn’t be hard to accomplish.

Still chugging along in Rise of the Tomb Raider.. Just picked up the season pass for it 🙂. Finished the Blood Ties dlc now working on Baba Yaga dlc. My wife just recently discovered Viva Piñata on gamepass so I’ve been having to share my Xbox 😅

I’ve only played the new Battlefront 2 story campaign 😅 I had a good time with it though. I picked up Fallen Order on sale recently so that’s going to be one of my next play throughs.

Still playing Rise of the Tomb Raider and enjoying every minute ( 30 hours later). Probably going to pick up the dlc since I think I’m close to beating the story.

I may also play some Moving Out. I thought it would be the next game my wife and I play together but she doesn’t care for it as much so I may have to go solo.

So Nintendo has dropped virtual console and Xbox wants to continue it’s backwards compatibility... Times have changed.. I, for one, am liking what I see when it comes to the new Xbox and will consider an upgrade depending on price. 🙂

I’ll be continuing Rise of the Tomb Raider.. So much fun! I’ve also been playing the occasional Uno match- I have one more achievement of getting 700 points. I’m having a challenging time getting it though! Still booting up Overcooked 2 for some online arcade! Happy gaming everyone!

@tinCAT-zero I did pick up Old Blood in a recent sale. I’m just going to finish up a a couple other games I’ve got going first but I’m excited to play it soon.

@tinCAT-zero I finished it today and it was fantastic! I tried The New Colossus on Switch on a whim ( never really liked shooting games) and I fell in love. Then played Youngblood (Switch)... When I finally got an Xbox The New Order was high on my list. Such a great series in general but I like the diversity of scenes and action in The New Order.
